Abstract

Promotional innovation using e-catalogs is one of the efforts to increase the number of bandol sandal handicraft sale. The bandol sandal e-catalog is used to focus on promotions for hotel visitors in Banyumas district. The steps taken include the selection of quality sandal products and attractive designs through a design competition. Then the selected product is made a catalog and e-catalog. Through cooperation with hotel management, it is expected to be able to target hotel customers in Banyumas district. This service activity succeeded in selecting attractive and quality bandol sandals, catalogs and e-catalogs.

Abstract

Natural disasters can occur anywhere and anytime which can cause losses both in terms of material and non-material and can even cause casualties. Pomahan Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency is located in a mountainous area so that the area is prone to disasters both in the form of natural disasters and non-natural disasters such as disasters arising from human activities. Public understanding of disaster mitigation must be improved, especially for the younger generation. It is intended that the risks or impacts arising from the occurrence of disasters can be reduced and the public knows about the first treatment in the event of a disaster. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and abilities of the youth community in Pomahan village in disaster mitigation management. The implementation of service activities is carried out by holding socialization, discussion and question and answer. The implementation of this socialization activity was carried out to the youth community in Pomahan village. The socialization activity was carried out on Thursday 15 July 2021 which was carried out face-to-face via the Zoom application. The activity was attended by 10 participants from the youth community in Pomahan village. From these socialization activities, youth are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained during socialization activities in the event of a disaster so that the impact can be reduced. The result of this community service activity is increasing knowledge from the youth community in Pomahan village about disaster mitigation management and first handling when a disaster occurs.

Abstract

Modern information systems can be used to optimize and streamline business processes that exist in a company or organization. By using a well-designed information system, many benefits can be obtained by a company or organization. The information system began to be applied to the community line, and has even been widely used as a media link between the regional government to the central government and the related community. This service is an application of the information system design that was previously made by the proposal team, used as a media complaint by the community to the government department in the Somagede Village area, Banyumas Regency, which utilized the basis of a website application or known as cloud application, which was more effective and efficient compared to conventional community based complaints systems using paper format. The community can provide criticisms, suggestions, or information about the environment surrounding the officials of the Village of Somagede using an internet connection so they can access this complaint information system. This information system is designed to make it easier for Somagede District officials to process aspirations and complaints from the community.

Abstract

Since the pandemic outbreak until now, no drugs and vaccines have been found to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, one of the alternatives to fight covid 19 virus is to maintain health and increase endurance despite intense activity. With the condition of Indonesia that is being exposed to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, we made a breakthrough to encourage the public to maintain and increase endurance. In order not to be susceptible to various viruses and keep healthy, consuming herbal medicine is one among the many ways. Mpon Sehat is a new breakthrough made from the basic ingredients of herbal medicine that is made into sweets with a sweet taste. Mpon is very beneficial for the body, for it can increase endurance and nourish the body. The purpose of making this candy is to provide a solution for people who are busy and do not have time to consume herbal medicines.This herbal candy can also be used as an alternative for some people who don't like herbal medicine but want to feed the body. This candy is not bitter or spicy like other spices, but it tastes sweet and tastes like an unwanted spice. It has other uniqueness such as chewy texture, unique packaging- consisting of 2 colors and easy to carry anywhere. In this service, using the method of implementing community service on April 15, 2020 starting at 15:00 until 17:00 in Bintaro, it is done face to face with the target audience by distributing products for free and doing image branding.As a result of this creativity program, we received satisfying opinions and criticisms and suggestions from the target audience to develop products and improve existing deficiencies. Then we made a video about the results of the creativity program and posted it on Instagram. In addition we also share information about the importance of maintaining health by consuming herbal medicines through social media such as Instagram. Instagram can facilitate the promotion of the products with a broad reach and is intended for everyone.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist The Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) of the HAMBA Foundation in preparing financial statements. Based on the initial observations, this foundation has not prepared financial statements in accordance to Indonesian Accounting Standards about the presentation of non-profit financial statements. This foundation is supposed to present financial statement in accordance to accounting standard for non-profit organization. The activity of this community service begins with (1) identifying and understanding the existing business processes of The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (2) accounting principles and practices at The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (3) evaluating whether the financial statements that have been prepared are in accordance with the Accounting Standard for Financial statements in Indonesia, and (4) recommendations for improvement to improve the quality of financial statements. The results achieved from this community service are excel software for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation. Thus, the foundation can make financial statements quickly and accountably. The recommendation for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation is to continue using the software to compile the financial reports.
