Abstract

Religious moderation is a religious attitude that is balanced between the practice of one's own religion and respect for the religious practices of other people with different beliefs. The attitude of religious moderation must be instilled from an early age among students, in the midst of the development of radical understanding among students. For Christian students, religious moderation is instilled through Christian education which is centred on Jesus. So that through the example of Jesus, students can have a balanced attitude between loving God and others, having an attitude of tolerance and respecting differences. AbstrakModerasi beragama adalah sikap beragama yang seimbang antara pengamalan agama sendiri dan penghormatan kepada praktik beragama orang lain yang berbeda keyakinan. Sikap Moderasi beragama harus ditanamkan sejak dini dikalangan pelajar, ditengah berkembangnya paham radikal dikalangan pelajar. Bagi pelajar Kristen Moderasi beragama ditanamkan melalui pendidikan Agama Kristen yang perpusat kepada Yesus. Sehingga melalui teladan Yesus para pelajar dapat memiliki sikap keseimbangan antara mengasihi Allah dan sesama, memiliki sikap toleransi dan menghargai perbedaan.

Abstract

The level of drug abuse has worried all parties because it can damage the body and soul Social relations and the nation's future. Even so, there are still many who have not paid attention to this problem, perhaps they do not understand the multidimensional problems caused by drugs ranging from the dangers of drug addiction, dropping out of school, the destruction of social relationships, household fractures to serious crimes that are included in criminal law. This community service explains the dangers caused by drug abuse. It is hoped that after this community service, the GPI Batu Aji Center youth will also provide an explanation to their friends or their environment about the dangers of drugs so that all healthy and prosperous families are protected from the dangers of this illegal drug. AbstrakTingkat penyalahgunaan narkoba telah meresahkan Semua pihak Karena dapat merusak jiwa raga Hubungan sosial dan masa depan bangsa . Sekalipun demikian masih banyak yang belum perhatian terhadap masalah ini mungkin belum memahami masalah multidimensi yang ditimbulkan oleh narkoba mulai dari bahaya ketagihan obat, putus sekolah, hancurnya hubungan social, keretakan rumah tangga hingga kejahatan berat yang masuk dalam hukum pidana. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menjelaskan tentang bahaya yang diakibatkan penyalahgunaan narkoba.  Diharapannya setelah pengabdian masyarakat ini remaja GPI Batu Aji Centre turut memberikan penjelasan kepada teman atau lingkungannya akan bahaya narkoba sehingga semua keluarga sehat, sejahtera terhindar dari bahaya obat terlarang ini. Abstract

This service aims to provide psycho-educational guidance to Christian female inmates at the Class II B Women's Prison in Batam so that the inmates return to fully understand themselves as noblewomen. This study involved 35 Christian female inmates in the Class II B Women's Prison in Batam. The methods used are self-compassion therapy, psychoeducation and woman discussion, as well as games for participants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the inmates' understanding of Self-Compassion so that after this therapy the inmates understand the recovery of their image and are able to accept themselves with their current conditions in prison. Furthermore, for psychoeducation of the role of women in ideals, participants have the tools to evaluate themselves with their roles so far and desire to experience transformation in themselves to become noblewomen in society.AbstrakPengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembinaan psiko-edukasi pada warga binaan wanita kristen di Lapas Perempuan Kelas II B Batam, agar warga binaan kembali memahami dirinya secara utuh sebagai perempuan yang mulia. Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 warga binaan wanita beragama Kristen yang ada di Lapas Perempuan Kelas II B Batam. Metode yang digunakan adalah self-compassion therapy, psikoedukasi dan woman discussion, serta games bagi peserta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta warga binaan tentang Self-Compassion agar setelah terapi ini warga binaan memahami pemulihan akan gambar dirinya serta mampu menerima dirinya dengan kondisi saat ini di Lapas. Selanjutnya untuk psikoedukasi peran perempuan dalam cita-cita , peserta memiliki alat untuk mengevaluasi diri dengan perannya selama ini dan berkeinginan untuk mengalami transformasi pada diri sendiri untuk menjadi perempuan yang mulia di masyarakat.

Abstract

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a condition of brain damage or disorder that causes a person to have impaired movement. Under certain conditions, the situation can also interfere with the ability to hear, see, taste and speak, even mentally. It generally occurs in children or is a condition that is present at birth. From 1000 births, there is a 1-5 chance of a child being born with CP. With this fact, parents need to be made aware, nurtured and assisted in dealing with, especially if they have children with such conditions. For this reason, this socialization activity aims to raise awareness and provide knowledge about what CP is and how to deal with it, including giving spiritual advice to the parents. The activity was given to Christian families in the Special Children's Service Association (Persekutuan Anak Istimewa-PAKIS) of Batam, all of whom are parents with children with disabilities. The result of this community service is the delivery of material about CP and its handlers in the form of physical therapy including spiritual advice. The results of this socialization are useful so that parents in the PAKIS fellowship can increase their knowledge, insight, experience and motivation in dealing with such conditions.AbstrakCerebral Palsy (CP) merupakan kondisi gangguan otak yang menyebabkan seseorang terganggu gerakannya. Dalam kondisi tertentu, keadaan ini bisa juga mengganggu kemampuan mendengar, melihat, mengecap dan berbicara, bahkan juga mengganggu mental. Hal ini umumnya terjadi pada anak-anak atau merupakan kondisi yang dibawa sejak lahir. Dari 1000 kelahiran, ada 1-5 kemungkinan anak terlahir dengan CP. Dengan fakta tersebut, para orang tua perlu disadarkan, dibina dan dibantu dalam menghadapi dan menangani, jika memiliki anak dengan kondisi demikian. Atas hal tersebut, kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk menyadarkan dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang apa itu CP dan bagaimana penanganannya, termasuk juga memberi siraman rohani terhadap para orang tua tersebut. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diberikan kepada keluarga-keluarga Kristen dalam Persekutuan Pelayanan Anak Istimewa (PAKIS) yang ada di pulau Batam yang kesemuanya merupakan orang tua dengan anak disabilitas. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adaah penyampaian materi tentang CP dan penangannya dalam bentuk terapi fisik termasuk siraman rohani. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini bermanfaat sehingga para orangtua dalam persekutuan PAKIS bisa meningkat pengetahuan, wawasan, pengalaman dan motivasi dalam menghadapi kondisi-kondisi demikian.

Abstract

This program was implemented using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through the following stages: knowing, understanding, planning, acting, reflecting, and evaluating. The activities involved teachers, parents, and assistant teachers through collaborative education forums and intensive mentoring. The results of the activities show an increase in parents' knowledge and positive attitudes towards their children's diversity, as well as an increase in their ability to collaborate with schools. This program also produced a mentoring model that can be replicated as a strategy to strengthen the school community in creating an inclusive learning environment. Thus, this community service activity has made a real contribution to strengthening inclusive education practices in elementary schools through a collaborative and participatory approach.

Abstract

Globalization has intensified cross-cultural interactions, demanding contextual and adaptive mission approaches that transcend conventional methods. This community service (PkM) study examines the role of music as a cross-cultural mission medium in STT Kristus Alfa Omega's community service activities across Daegu, Busan, and Jinju, South Korea. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. Findings reveal that music significantly enhanced participant engagement, fostered more inclusive cross-cultural interactions, and generated positive emotional and social responses toward the Gospel message. The adaptation of local musical elements combined with bilingual performance strategies strengthened community acceptance and deepened relational trust across cultural boundaries. Furthermore, music functioned not merely as a communicative medium, but as a strategic missiological instrument for building intercultural relationships, increasing community participation, and facilitating the internalization of spiritual values. These findings affirm that a contextual, music-based community service model holds substantial potential for replication across diverse multicultural contexts, contributing meaningfully to the development of contextual missiology in East Asia. Keywords: cross-cultural mission; contextual missiology; music as mission medium; community engagement; intercultural spirituality Abstrak Globalisasi telah mengintensifkan interaksi lintas budaya, menuntut pendekatan misi yang kontekstual dan adaptif melampaui metode konvensional. Studi Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini mengkaji peran musik sebagai media misi lintas budaya dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat STT Kristus Alfa Omega di Daegu, Busan, dan Jinju, Korea Selatan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa musik secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan partisipan, memfasilitasi interaksi lintas budaya yang lebih inklusif, serta menghasilkan respons emosional dan sosial yang positif terhadap pesan Injil. Adaptasi elemen musik lokal yang dipadukan dengan strategi pertunjukan bilingual memperkuat penerimaan komunitas dan mempererat kepercayaan relasional lintas budaya. Lebih jauh, musik berfungsi bukan sekadar sebagai medium komunikatif, melainkan sebagai instrumen missiologis strategis dalam membangun relasi interkultural, meningkatkan partisipasi komunitas, dan memfasilitasi internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa model PkM berbasis musik yang kontekstual memiliki potensi signifikan untuk direplikasi dalam berbagai konteks multikultural, berkontribusi pada pengembangan misiologi kontekstual di Asia Timur. Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to strengthen the Christian identity of students at the Batam Institute of Technology (ITEBA) through a contextual seminar model based on an understanding of Christology and Soteriology. The background to this activity is the challenges of the digital era and globalization that influence the formation of Christian student identity, especially in the technology college environment. Therefore, this PkM activity is considered important by the Doctoral Study Program of STT REAL Batam. The goal is for Christian students to maintain a correct understanding of the foundations of Christology and Soteriology. The method used is a participatory contextual seminar with an educational-transformational approach, involving 40 Christian students at ITEBA. The implementation stages include needs analysis, module development, three seminar sessions, and evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, spiritual motivation questionnaires, and qualitative reflections. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' theological understanding based on a comparison of pre-test and post-test scores. In addition, participant reflections indicated an increased integrative awareness between faith and academic life and a commitment to living out Christian identity in the context of technology and social service. Therefore, this contextual seminar model has proven effective as a strategy for fostering Christian identity in students at technology universities and has the potential to be replicated in similar contexts. This activity recommends that ITEBA integrate contextual faith development into its ongoing student character development program.
