Abstract: This study discusses the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in the teaching of Islamic Education as efforts to establish the Islamic personality of the students. This type of research is qualitative research. Interdisciplinary research approach used, among other things: management approach, pedagogical, sociological, and psychological. Sources of primary data from this study were teachers of Islamic education. Secondary data sources in this study a school profile data, theories on the concept of the learning strategies, Islamic religious of education theory, and the theory of the formation of Muslim personality. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research found that the learning strategies of Islamic education in shaping Muslim personality of students use two strategies of learning, ie learning direct and indirect learning.

Vocabulary and reading are the most important aspects which have to be mastered by students in the middle of their English learning in class. Moreover, those two aspects are having a correlation to enhance their achievement in English comprehension besides writing and speaking. English learning in here has become a chance for the students to learn English as their foreign language. As we know, English as a foreign language is not an easy subject to be comprehended by students who have just learned it. Thus, students have to be more active and creative to create their own method to enhance their ability in English comprehension. This research was aimed to determine the correlation between students’ achievement in vocabulary and reading ability of the tenth-grade students at SMA 1 Bangsal. The research design was using the correlation design with the tenth-grade students as the population. When the research was conducted, the researcher only took some samples from tenth-grade students population by using the random sampling and found 75 students as the samples. Meanwhile, in collecting data process, the researcher has conducted the written test to find out the students’ achievement in vocabulary and reading ability. The data from tenth-grade students’ achievement was measured by Pearson Product Moment correlation formula, which become the analysis technique to evaluate a hypothesis concerning to the correlation between two variables that are examined statistically. The result showed that there is a significant correlation between students’ achievement in vocabulary and reading ability.

This research aimed to figure out whether CSR gives positive effect toward students’ ability in reading comprehension. This reserach design was quasi experimental research. The text with which chosen by the researchers was recount text. The sample of this research were students in English Department of Mayjen Sungkono University. The data of this research was reading test scores which were analyzed by using t-test. It was found that there was significant difference on students’ reading comprehension who were taught by using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) and the students taught by using non Collaborative Strategy Reading (CSR). This study consisted of 4 meetings. Each meeting consisted of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The result of post test showed that the mean score of posttest higher in experiment than control group. When Null Hyphotesis H0 was accepted it meant there was no difference significant in reading comprehension between class taught by using collaborative reading strategy nor without using collaborative reading strategy. Based on the finding, it signed that Ha was accepted and H0 was refused.

The aim of this study is to measure the effectiveness of using mobile application in teaching and learning grammar to university students. The application used in this research is Busuu. 28 undergraduate students participated in the study. Busuu mobile application was chosen as a tool for teaching and learning process. It has several function for teachers and students. The benefits of using busuu are, 1. The material used is arranged by users’ grade, 2. It is an interactive media, 3. Students will be evaluated by each development, 4. Easy to be accessed, 5. There is interaction with other users. The next step to monitor the students is extensive review. This qualitative research was designed as experimental research which included pre-test and post-test to measure the result of the effectiveness of using Busuu. The result of the study indicated that the mean score of participants was increased. It means that the use of mobile phone application is effective for teaching and learning process in online learning

This article is written based on a unique consideration of the application of education administration. The purpose of the preparation of this study is to find out and get information regarding any obstacles faced during the online learning process of elementary school children during the Covid 19 pandemic period in Air Enau Village, Rambang Nuru District, Muara Enim Regency. This research was created using a qualitative method approach, namely the results of interviews conducted by researchers with several speakers (respondents), namely several teachers and elementary school students in Air Enau Muara Enim Village. Collection of information / data using unstructured interviews and documentation results of several learning activities in Air Enau Village. The results obtained from this study can be concluded that there are several obstacles and difficulties during the online learning process taking place experienced by teaching teachers and students and parents such as the limited communication to deliver subject matter between teachers and students, increasing expenditure costs for internet quota, The lack of understanding of the use of technology, the frequent power outages that occur which results in the loss of internet networks and lack of child awareness to remember and do their duties given by the teacher.

Especially for students, writing become more important to be mastered in delivering their ideas during writing activity. To developing their ideas, students need strategy. It must be given high attention by teachers during teaching. One of the strategies to develop the ideas in writing is Mind Mapping strategy. Mind mapping have important role for students in writing recount text. Students will be easier to connect one event to other events. Same as the other strategy in learning process, mind mapping have some steps to do that. In this research, the researcher wants to measure The Effectiveness of Using Mind Mapping Strategy toward Writing Ability for The Tenth-Grade Students at SMA Negeri 3 Mojokerto in academic year 2016/2017. The result of t-test was 7,153. After got the t- test score, the reseracher compared it with t-table (df = n1 + n2 – 2 = 72; significance 5% = 0.05). The value of t-table was 1.666. It means that too is highest than table (7.153 > 1.666).

Reading had become one of the essential English skills which should be mastered by students in their English learning. Furthermore, in reading activity, students could enrich their vocabulary, practice their pronunciation which also useful in speaking, writing, even listening skills. However, sometimes students could face some problems which they have experienced when reading those texts, even if they were encountering with reading texts at school. Thus, students needed the teachers’ guidances in their English learning because most of them could be classified as the beginner stage. This research was aimed to measure and investigate the effectiveness of Reciprocal Teaching strategy to teach reading comprehension in narrative text to the eleventh-grade students of SMAN 1 Kutorejo. The researcher had used quasi-experimental research which picked two classes to become the samples from eleventh-grade classes in SMAN 1 Kutorejo by using the purposive sampling technique. Those classes were chosen randomly as the experiment class. One class which would be taught by using Reciprocal Teaching strategy was XI-IPA 1, while the other class, XI-IPA 5 would be taught by using Non Reciprocal Teaching strategy. Furthermore, the researcher had prepared the post-test which contained 50 questions with multiple choice about narrative text reading comprehension for both eleventh-grade classes to collect the data. The data which had been gotten from the post-test were analyzed by using the statistical technique with an independent t-test formula that would show the differences between both classes that have different treatments.

The method adopted in this study was classroom action research. The procedure and implementation process performed one cycle of four actions. After four actions have been performed, mutual education can improve students' reading comprehension in three stages. They are: (1) Look-ahead activities focus on activating students' prior knowledge. (2) Reading activities focus on the implementation of mutual education. (3) Post-reading activities focus on reaffirming students' understanding of the text. The final activity is managing quizzes. Students take individual tests without the help of other students or teachers. As a result of the test, the average student score was 73.75 and the lowest student score was 50. Finally, we could conclude that mutual instruction was able to improve students' reading comprehension. In addition, the students are more motivated and active to learn with the method. They learn to work together in a group with different abilities and to help each other.

The objective of the research was to investigate the correlation between student’s achievement in reading comprehension and writing skill, whether there was any correlation between student’s achievement in reading comprehension and writing skill. The population of this research was 283 students. The researchers took 30 % as the sample so there were 85 students as main subject of research. In this quantitative research, the researcher used correlation study by using Pearson Product Moment to calculate the data. There were two main variables in this research. Reading comprehension (variable X) and writing skill (variable Y). The instruments of this research were reading comprehension test and writing test. The data were collected through test (reading comprehension and writing test). From the calculation by using Pearson Product Moment formula, it was obtained that the value of “r” product moment (rxy) or “r” observation (r0) was 0,436. The degree of freedom (df) was 83. The degree of significance 5% was 0,213, and the degree of significance 1% was 0,278. So, it meant that the hypothesis r0 was bigger than rt (0,436>0,0,213 and 0,436<0,278). The result of hypothesis of this research was alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It meant there was correlation between student’s achievement in reading comprehension and writing skill.
