Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of the Make-to-stock scheduling system at PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators to optimize project planner productivity. The methods used include interviews, direct observation, and analysis of historical production data. The results show that implementing the Make-to-stock system increases production efficiency by maintaining stock that is ready to sell before demand arises. Challenges mainly relate to efficient stock management and complex production scheduling. This research highlights the importance of the role of project planners in facing a rapidly changing industrial environment and the comparison between manual and automatic scheduling. The implications are relevant for manufacturing companies in improving their operational performance by selecting scheduling methods that suit their unique context and characteristics

Abstract

This research is about Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) at PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators, offshore platform construction company. The research was conducted from January to March 2024, with the number of employees working at this company varying each month: 256 employees in January, 281 employees in February, and 331 employees in March. Descriptive methods with a qualitative approach were used to collect data through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The research results show that HRIS significantly increases the efficiency of HR administration by automating processes, enabling more informed decision making based on data, and optimizing employee skills management. However, the main challenges faced include resistance to change from employees and changes in organizational culture required to support the adoption of new technologies. Large and complex companies, with most employees being contract workers, add to the challenges in implementing HRIS. This research emphasizes the importance of effective change management in overcoming these barriers to maximize the benefits of HRIS in the context of the dynamic construction industry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality and hedonic traits of potatoes grown in a variety of environments. The study was conducted between June and July 2023 in Batu, Bromo, and Nongkojajar. After the harvest, research data was gathered, including the tubers' weight, volume, length, and width. The tubers are steamed after three days to evaluate their taste, smell, colour, texture, and overall physical appearance. Data analysis methods use bivariate, multivariate analysis and PCA biplot with spreadsheets and SAS-JMP v.16. The quality of potato tubers was found to vary significantly between different growing environments in terms of length, width, thickness, volume, and weight per tuber. The superior quality of tubers for all categories is produced in Batu's growing environment, which is markedly different from Bromo and Nongkojajar. The high correlation between length, volume and weight of tubers is more than 0.83. Organoleptically, each growing environment has a position of relative advantage. Stone has advantages in smell and physical appearance. Bromo is superior in texture and colour, with a high correlation of 0.98, and Nongkojajar in taste. Based on the level of consumer preference, it can be concluded that Batu is superior in terms of its physical appearance, Bromo is superior in terms of colour, and Nongkojajar is superior in terms of smell. Even though there was a high correlation of 0.995 between the various growing locations, none of them demonstrated superiority in terms of texture and taste

Abstract

The use of Primbon in determining the meaning of lost objects reflects how local traditions and beliefs still influence the daily practices of Javanese society. This study aims to dig deeper into how Ethnomathematics is used in Javanese culture to give meaning to everyday phenomena, such as when losing objects. The research method used in this study is the descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The observation was conducted by observing the Javanese Primbon calculation activities in Panican Village, Kemangkon Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The interview used in this research is semi-structured with the resource person, Mr. SH. The data source in this research uses secondary data obtained by conducting a literature study of the versatile Javanese primbon book owned by R. Gunasasmita. The results of this study indicate the existence of Ethnomathematics in giving meaning to the calculation of Primbon in Javanese culture, which uses the mathematical concept of modulo 3 and 4 to determine the meaning of lost objects, such as who the thief is, gender, skin colour, and whether the lost object will be found again

Abstract

This study aims to assess the influence of financial performance variables (X2) and good governance variables (X1) on financial value (Y) in the context of 36 publicly traded transportation companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Purposive sampling was employed, resulting in a sample of 21 companies that met the study criteria. Analysis was conducted using the partial least squares (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings indicate that both financial performance and good governance significantly contribute to enhancing company value. Specifically, improved financial performance positively impacts financial value, while effective corporate governance practices also play a crucial role in increasing company value. These results underscore the importance of integrating robust financial strategies and governance frameworks to optimize organizational performance and investor perception in the transportation sector

Abstract

Determining the concentration of nutrients and planting media in a hydroponic wick system is necessary to increase the growth and yield of Pakcoy mustard greens (Brassica rapa L.). The research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of AB Mix fertilizer, which consists of 4 levels, namely 500 ppm, 1.000 ppm, 1.500 ppm, and 2.000 ppm. The second factor is the planting media, which consists of 2 levels: cocopeat planting media and husk charcoal. If the analysis result shows a significant difference, then continue with the BNT test at the 5% level. The research stated that applying 1.500 ppm AB Mix fertilizer and husk charcoal planting media could provide the best results in all parameters

Abstract

Rapid global economic development has significantly changed the relationship between producers and consumers. This research examines the mechanism for resolving consumer complaints in Indonesia, focusing on the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency (BPSK) and the potential for implementing Online Dispute Resolution (ODR). Data was collected through literature study, in-depth interviews, and observation. The research results show that despite a comprehensive legal framework, implementation is still hampered by lack of outreach, budget limitations, and legal inconsistencies. Many consumers do not know the existence of BPSK, so its accessibility is limited. The digital era and the development of e-commerce add complexity, with many platforms having internal complaint resolution systems that still need to be integrated with BPSK. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) has excellent potential to improve efficiency and accessibility but is hampered by low digital literacy and inadequate infrastructure. In the financial sector, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution (LAPS) shows potential but requires improvements in socialization and standardization of procedures. Coordination between LAPS and BPSK needs to be improved to prevent overlapping jurisdictions. Indonesia can also learn from the best practices of other countries, such as Malaysia, to adopt a more integrated and technology-based dispute resolution system

Abstract

This study used a randomized complete block design (RCB) to evaluate the effect of various doses of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of peanut plants. This research involved seven treatment units, each with a unique combination of inorganic and organic fertilizers. Each treatment was repeated four times, so there were 28 treatment units. Each unit comprises 16 plants carefully selected and managed to ensure consistent growing conditions. Four plants were taken from each unit as samples for analysis, and 112 sample plants were used to collect growth data and other relevant variables. Peanut cultivation in Indonesia faces serious challenges, such as reduced productivity due to prolonged drought and inadequate agricultural practices. This research aims to determine the impact of lowering the dose of inorganic fertilizer and increasing the use of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of peanuts. The results showed a significant effect of various fertilizer combinations on growth parameters. Treatment P5 (a combination of inorganic and organic fertilizer) gave the best results in vegetative observations. In contrast, treatment P4 (a combination of inorganic and organic fertilizer) was superior in yield and pod weight. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing integrated fertilizers in peanut cultivation to improve agricultural sustainability. This research provides valuable insights for farmers and researchers in developing more efficient and environmentally friendly farming practices and supporting increased productivity of peanut plants in various environmental conditions
