Abstract

This research employs a qualitative approach using an integrative literature review as the primary methodology. Data were gathered through systematic examination of peer-reviewed journals, authoritative HRM textbooks, and empirical research (2020-2025). ATIQ HOMEKLIK serves as the contextual case to ground theoretical findings and develop actionable recommendations for Indonesian retail SMEs. This approach enables the synthesis of contemporary compensation theory with practical application in resource-constrained retail contexts. Findings reveal that compensation and benefits significantly influence employee motivation, job satisfaction, and performance. Fair financial compensation, combined with non-financial benefits such as career development, job security, and a conducive work environment, effectively increases employee engagement and productivity. The research introduces an integrated total rewards approach applicable to retail SMEs. Results indicate that the strategic integration of compensation and benefits is a key factor in improving employee performance and supporting organisational sustainability. This study contributes both theoretically, by strengthening the compensation-benefit-performance literature in retail SME contexts, and practically, by providing actionable strategies for effective human resource management.

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing employee performance at Puskesmas Cikulur, located in Lebak Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was used, and a survey was conducted with 104 employees at Puskesmas to explore the impact of organisational culture, work discipline, and loyalty on employee performance. The findings show that 95.2% of employees reported a positive organisational culture, 96.2% indicated high work discipline, and 93.3% demonstrated high loyalty. Regression analysis revealed that organisational culture, work discipline, and loyalty had statistically significant positive effects on employee performance (p-values of 0.003, 0.002, and 0.004, respectively). However, competence and motivation did not significantly influence employee performance, with p-values of 0.329 and 0.465, respectively. These results suggest that enhancing organisational culture, improving work discipline, and fostering loyalty are key strategies for improving employee performance. This study provides important insights for healthcare management at Puskesmas, demonstrating that factors such as culture and discipline should be prioritised to improve overall employee performance, which is critical to delivering quality healthcare services in primary healthcare settings.

Abstract

Complementary feeding practices play an important role in preventing stunting among children under two years of age. However, many mothers still have limited knowledge, attitudes, and confidence in preparing appropriate complementary foods using locally available ingredients. Educational interventions such as cooking demonstrations can help improve maternal competence in providing nutritious complementary foods. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effect of a cooking demonstration (Demo Masak) intervention on improving mothers’ knowledge and attitudes regarding local complementary feeding (MP-ASI) practices for children aged 6–23 months. Methods: This study employed a mixed-methods, exploratory sequential design. The qualitative phase explored factors influencing maternal competence in complementary feeding practices. The quantitative phase used a quasi-experimental design with pretest, post-test 1, and post-test 2 measurements. A total of 50 mothers with children aged 6–23 months at risk of stunting were recruited as respondents. The intervention group received complementary feeding education through cooking demonstrations using locally available foods. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test. Results: The univariate analysis showed that most respondents were aged 21–35 years (80%), had junior high school education (42%), were predominantly Sundanese (82%), and had a monthly household income of IDR 1–2 million (66%). Most respondents initially had low self-efficacy (78%) in providing complementary feeding. The intervention results showed a significant improvement in knowledge and attitudes after the cooking demonstration. The proportion of respondents with good knowledge increased from 6.7% at pretest to 100% at post-test 2. Similarly, positive attitudes increased after the intervention. The Chi-square test showed a significant relationship between the intervention and improvements in knowledge (p = 0.000) and attitudes (p = 0.005). Conclusion: Cooking demonstration-based nutrition education significantly improves mothers’ knowledge and attitudes regarding complementary feeding practices. Therefore, this interactive educational method can be recommended as an effective strategy to strengthen maternal competence in preparing local complementary foods and support stunting prevention programs.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the experience of multinational companies in implementing strategic financial management amid ASEAN economic integration. The research approach used is qualitative with multiple case study designs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using NVivo to identify key themes. The results of the study show that multinational companies implement various financial strategies, such as exchange rate hedging, investment diversification, capital structure optimization, and the digitalization of the financial system, to maintain stability and increase competitiveness. ASEAN economic integration offers opportunities for market expansion, but it also poses challenges, including exchange rate fluctuations, regulatory differences, and the complexity of tax systems across countries. The company responded to these conditions by adapting through the use of local currency, regional financial centralization, and flexible financial planning. Digital transformation has also proven to be an important factor in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial decision-making. This study concludes that the success of multinational companies in navigating ASEAN economic integration is largely determined by their ability to implement strategic financial management that is adaptive, integrated, and digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of human capital in private universities in Indonesia to advance the ASEAN Vision 2045. Human capital is a strategic asset that determines the competitiveness of higher education institutions by developing competencies, fostering innovation, enhancing academic productivity, and enabling adaptability to changes in the global environment. The research uses a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at several private universities in Indonesia. The research informants were university leaders, human resource managers, lecturers, education staff, and international cooperation managers, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo software across the stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding to identify the main themes of the study. The study's results show that human resource competence, digital transformation, knowledge management, and organizational innovation are the main factors affecting human capital performance. In addition, private universities are well positioned to support the ASEAN Vision 2045 through talent development, academic innovation, and digital transformation. However, there are still challenges in the form of low international collaboration, ASEAN academic mobility, and gaps in the quality of human resources between universities. Therefore, a sustainable human capital development strategy is needed to enhance Indonesia's higher education competitiveness in the ASEAN region.

Abstract

Sexual violence against adolescent girls remains a public health problem that requires preventive measures through effective and culturally appropriate health education. Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) have limitations in discussing sexuality issues, requiring interactive educational methods that align with Islamic values. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using non-digital gamification methods (card games) on female students' knowledge of sexual violence prevention at Madinatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Bogor in 2026. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design approach. The study sample consisted of 44 female junior high school students divided into an experimental group and a control group of 22 respondents each using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire on knowledge of sexual violence prevention. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that in the experimental group there was an increase in knowledge with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), while the control group obtained a value of p = 0.058 (p>0.05). These results indicate that health education using non-digital gamification methods significantly improved female students' knowledge of sexual violence prevention. This method is effective as an interactive, participatory health education medium, and is appropriate for the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

The transformation of the creative industry demands the development of products that are not only functional but also possess a cultural identity and aesthetic value capable of enhancing competitiveness in the market. This study aims to develop a prototype of a redesigned leather bag—a flagship product of CV Quwalli Leather by integrating traditional Indonesian songket woven fabric using an “aesthetic follows function” approach. The methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) with a Practice-Based Research (PBR) approach, which positions design practice as the primary instrument for knowledge creation. The research stages include material exploration and analysis of existing products, concept and design development, prototype production, as well as prototype testing and evaluation. The results indicate that songket possesses strong visual and symbolic value; however, structural limitations mean this material is better suited as a semi-structural element, while leather serves as the primary structure ensuring the product’s strength and durability. The design process resulted in a hybrid model that integrates function, structural aesthetics, and cultural identity in a cohesive manner. Ergonomic and durability testing showed that load distribution remains optimal and the product’s form stability can be maintained through a lamination system and material reinforcement. User evaluations indicate that the incorporation of songket enhances perceptions of the product’s exclusivity, uniqueness, and cultural value. The research findings confirm that the “aesthetic follows function” approach is effective in integrating cultural heritage into contemporary product design without compromising functionality and performance. The resulting prototypes serve not only as craft-based fashion products but also as a medium for cultural representation capable of enhancing added value, product differentiation, and the competitiveness of the culture-based creative industry in the global market.

Abstract

Pancasila learning in elementary schools (SD) often faces challenges in the form of a conventional approach that is monotonous and focused solely on memorization of material. This results in weak internalization of Pancasila values in students' daily lives. This article aims to disseminate ideas and practices for renewing Pancasila learning through the integration of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local wisdom within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature review and analysis of good practices of Pancasila learning based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and local wisdom in elementary schools. Data were obtained from policy documents, journals, books, and related research results. The analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques, while data validity was maintained through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the reconstruction of Pancasila learning through a PjBL approach based on local wisdom is able to transform learning from a theoretical nature to a contextual, meaningful, and enjoyable one. Project-based activities provide space for students to explore the values of mutual cooperation, social justice, and global diversity in a real-life manner. Through structured learning syntax, students not only understand Pancasila as knowledge (moral doing), but also feel it (moral feeling) and repeat it in real actions (moral action).

Abstract

The digital age has fundamentally transformed the way people express their opinions and views. Advances in information and communication technology—particularly the massive penetration of social media in Indonesia—have opened up a space for public participation that is broader, faster, and free from geographical boundaries. Citizens can now easily criticize government policies, report alleged abuses of power, and voice their political aspirations directly through various digital platforms. On the other hand, freedom of expression in the digital sphere often clashes with the interests of public order, national security, social stability, and the protection of the reputation of individuals and institutions. This article aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the constitutional limits on restrictions of human rights regarding freedom of expression under the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the judicial dynamics occurring in Indonesia. Using a normative-dogmatic approach supported by an analysis of court rulings, this article finds that while Article 28E(3) and Article 28F of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia provide strong guarantees for freedom of expression, Article 28J(2) provides a valid constitutional basis for restricting that right. Restrictions are only permissible if established by law, aimed at respecting the human rights of others, and meeting fair demands based on moral considerations, religious values, security, and public order in a democratic society. Constitutional Court Decisions No. 105/PUU-XXII/2024 and No. 78/PUU-XXI/2023 have significantly reformed cyber law in Indonesia, including the abolition of the offense of spreading false news that causes public unrest and the restriction of the legal subjects of defamation offenses to only natural persons. This article recommends strengthening restorative justice mechanisms, establishing objective parameters for non-pecuniary damages in civil law, and issuing technical guidelines for law enforcement officials
