Abstract

Tegalsari Village, Karanggede Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency, is predominantly inhabited by residents with lower-middle economic status, which affects dietary patterns and nutritional intake, especially among toddlers. Initial data indicated low maternal knowledge about balanced nutrition, minimal participation in posyandu activities, and the absence of community nutrition cadres to provide ongoing education. In response, the Community Service (PKM) team implemented the program “Strengthening Community Nutrition Cadres for Stunting Prevention,” which included education on balanced nutrition and the impacts of stunting, training on preparing balanced menus based on local wisdom, and the formation of competent nutrition cadres. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, with the average post-test score of 80.00 rising from a pre-test score of 59.33. Most participants now fall into the “good” knowledge category, while those with “poor” knowledge decreased to 0%. The established nutrition cadres are able to disseminate information and healthy nutrition practices sustainably, as well as assist families in preparing balanced menus and monitoring child growth. This program is expected to enhance the community’s understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition, encourage healthy eating habits, and promote active participation in stunting prevention. Strengthening the capacity of cadres has the potential to improve program effectiveness holistically, ensuring that stunting prevention can be implemented independently and sustainably at the community level.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economy, with a total of 64.2 million units contributing 61.07% to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), equivalent to IDR 8,573.89 trillion. However, only about 12% of these MSMEs have effectively adopted digital technologies. Digitalization holds a strategic role in enhancing business competitiveness and efficiency in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 toward Society 5.0, particularly in marketing activities that have shifted from conventional systems to digital-based marketing through e-commerce, social media, and online marketplaces. This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted to assist a partner, Mulya Biro Jasa, an MSME engaged in administrative and legal documentation services located in Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Based on observations, the partner faced challenges in marketing and management facilities that remained conventional, such as the absence of an official website, unregistered business location on Google Maps, and underutilization of social media platforms. Through this PKM activity, the implementation team provided several solutions, including the development of a website, social media development, Google Maps optimization, logo design, business cards, and a neon box sign as a business identity. In addition, the implementing team also installed a 1 TB SSD to provide larger digital data storage capacity and added CCTV to enhance the security of important documents. The program successfully improved the partner’s knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology to support business development. Based on the questionnaire results, the average pre-test score of 3.09 increased to 3.60 in the post-test, indicating a 16,5% improvement in understanding. Furthermore, this activity provided valuable hands-on experience for students in applying information technology knowledge in real-world business contexts.

Abstract

Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that can be cultivated in the yard and used for traditional medicine, as a eradication, prevention and self-treatment. Knowledge related to TOGA needs to be trained as early as possible to support National Drug Security. Therefore, early education is necessary to instill awareness and understanding of the importance of TOGA in everyday life. The situation that occurred at SDN Alasombo 3 is that SDN Alasombo 3 must take a local content of Agriculture, but knowledge related to medicinal plants (TOGA) is still not taught. Through Community Service (PkM) activities, the team can contribute to improving health literacy of elementary school students through educational and participatory methods. PkM activities are carried out by providing education related to TOGA, providing assistance related to TOGA planting in the schoolyard, and handing over TOGA posters to be displayed in each classroom. PkM activities provide increased student knowledge based on pretest and posttest results with statistically significant results (p = 0.0034 < 0.005). The activity also received a response of "Very Satisfied" with a score of 93.1%.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out by Dr. Dirga Agung, S.H., M.H., Lidwina Apriliana Allo Tangko, S.H., M.H., and Andi Dewi Pratiwi, S.H., M.H., which took place on January 5, 2026, held in the Community Meeting Room at the RT.002/RW.001 Neighborhood Watch Post, Mariso Village, Makassar City, has made a very meaningful contribution to the community, especially in Mariso Village, and was very well received with great enthusiasm. The legal counseling session on the enactment of the new Criminal Code (Law No. 01 of 2023) from the perspective of legal certainty and community justice was held as a way to understand and increase the legal awareness of the community of RT.002/RW.001, Mariso Village. so it is hoped that this legal counseling can be used as a first step to learn about and understand the changes in the new Criminal Code and the role of the community in increasing legal awareness in the Barombong Village neighborhood as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of misunderstandings and unresponsiveness among Barombong Village residents. Recently, there have been many reports regarding the understanding of the law that the old Criminal Code is still valid and has not been replaced, which is an issue that remains an important concern in the world of criminal law. On a broader scale, many people in big cities in Indonesia are not yet aware of the changes brought about by the new Criminal Code. In addition, the lack of public awareness of the dangers and risks of incorrect law enforcement among the community is the main cause of the recent increase in law enforcement problems throughout Indonesia

Abstract

BeanTien Culinary Business is an MSME engaged in the production and sale of processed nut-based products in Tanjungpinang. In its operations, the partner faces several main obstacles, namely the absence of a sales transaction recording system either manually or digitally, difficulty in calculating profits and losses accurately, and limitations in monitoring daily sales developments. This condition impacts the partner's inability to make data-based business decisions and hinders business growth. This community service activity aims to address these problems through the development and implementation of a website-based sales information system. The activity implementation method includes seven stages: partner identification and initial coordination, data collection through interviews and observations, system design using UML modeling, system development with Agile methodology and PHP programming language, system testing using Black Box Testing method, implementation and intensive training for partners, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The results show that the system was successfully implemented and can be operated properly by the partner. The system is able to store transaction data in a structured manner, generate sales reports based on specific periods, and export reports to Excel and PDF formats. Through intensive training and mentoring, partners are able to operate the system independently and experience tangible benefits in the form of improved recording efficiency, ease of sales monitoring, and accuracy in calculating profits and losses. This activity successfully increased the partner's digital literacy capacity and supported the digital transformation of MSMEs in Tanjungpinang.

Abstract

Household organic waste management remains a serious problem in urban areas, including in Tambak Sarioso Village, Surabaya City. The high volume of organic waste, low level of waste sorting at source, and limited community participation indicate a gap between normative regulations and the implementation of waste management policies. This condition necessitates research, considering that waste management is directly related to environmental protection and the fulfillment of the community's right to a healthy environment. This study aims to analyze the empirical conditions of organic waste management in Tambak Sarioso Village and to examine the implementation of eco-enzymes as a community empowerment strategy within the legal framework of waste management. The main research question focuses on the effectiveness of eco-enzymes in bridging legal norms and social practices of household-based organic waste management. The results show that organic waste management in Tambak Sarioso is not yet optimal due to low legal awareness and limited supporting facilities. The implementation of eco-enzymes has been proven to increase community participation, reduce organic waste generation, and improve the quality of the residential environment. These findings contribute to strengthening the concept of community empowerment as an instrument of environmental law effectiveness. The research conclusion confirms that eco-enzymes are an innovative model of community-based organic waste management that is relevant for strengthening the implementation of waste policies. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of empirical, normative, and community empowerment approaches into a single framework of sustainable waste management.
