Abstract

Community service is a form of contribution of academics (lecturers and students) in overcoming problems in the community and for community development with the aim of providing education and improving the skills of the people of Benai Megang Sakti IV Village through efforts to optimize the potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a series of strategies that include surveys, data collection, training, and MSME development through packaging aspects, branding, and digital marketing. The focus of this empowerment program is located in Benai Megang Sakti IV Village, Megang Sakti District, Musi Rawas Regency. This service program aims to improve the quality of MSME businesses in the area through concrete steps. In addition, the development of MSMEs through attractive packaging efforts and strong branding will help differentiate products from competitors and build a positive image in the eyes of consumers. The method of implementing service is Participatory Rulal Apraical (PRA) with lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. This method involves the community which is the target partner in the implementation of service activities. The results of the service activities are an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners regarding the utilization of the potential and digitalization of MSMEs, introducing the concept of local economic empowerment and the importance of digitalization in the development of MSMEs, the use of e-commerce platforms to increase sales of local products, and also the achievement of product manufacturing that utilizes the local potential of the village, which in turn is expected to improve the local economy, create jobs and can optimize their potential and improve the quality of their business in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The digital transformation era has driven business actors, including used car dealers, to adopt social media-based marketing technologies. Jati Subur Mobil (JSM), a used car showroom located in Rungkut Alang-Alang No. 195, Surabaya, has utilized Facebook as a marketing platform to increase its vehicle sales. This study aims to analyze the impact of Facebook application usage in the digital marketing strategy at JSM. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Results indicate that Facebook effectively increases customer reach and enhances car sales by 20%. Key strategies include the use of Facebook Marketplace, buy-and-sell groups, and the creation of aesthetic and cinematic content to attract customers emotionally and visually. This case highlights the importance of consistent content publishing, responsive interaction with potential buyers, and optimal use of Facebook features to build engagement and drive sales. The findings can serve as a practical guide for new entrepreneurs in the automotive retail industry seeking to leverage digital platforms like Facebook for business growth.

Abstract

In today's world, when the world's economic challenges are increasingly complex, it is very important for Gen Z to increase their investment literacy to become smarter in investing. Therefore, the purpose of this devotion is to create and implement a gold trading education program based on fundamental and technical analysis that is focused on improving Gen Z's investment understanding and skills. The findings of this study show that the participants have a better understanding of gold investment and make investment decisions with greater confidence. As a result, the study is expected to provide financial literacy to Gen Z and encourage them to become confident and assertive investors in the future.

Abstract

MSMEs have an important role in local economic growth, but still face challenges in systematic financial management. One solution offered is the utilization of the SIAPIK application (Sistem Informasi Aplikasi Pencatatan Informasi Keuangan), a free application developed by Bank Indonesia to help record financial transactions digitally. This activity aims to socialize the use of SIAPIK to MSME players in Rintik Village, Babulu District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan. The methods used in this activity include socialization, hands-on training, and assistance for businesses in implementing SIAPIK. The results of this activity showed that participants' understanding of the importance of financial records increased, and there was an increase in the use of the SIAPIK application to help record business income and expenses. SIAPIK implementation is expected to improve digital financial literacy and help MSMEs in making more accurate data-based decisions.

Abstract

Rintik Village has great economic potential in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, but faces obstacles in financial management and product marketing. Low financial literacy means that people have not utilized the capital market as an alternative to managing savings, while MSME products are less attractive due to their simple packaging design. To overcome this problem, a community service program was carried out through socialization and investment training in the capital market and the creation of more attractive MSME product packaging designs. This activity lasted for three weeks using the counseling method, interactive discussions, and the design and delivery of packaging designs to MSME actors. The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding of stock investment, where participants began to understand the basic concepts of investment, opportunities, and associated risks. In addition, corn cake MSME actors received a new packaging design that was more attractive and in accordance with market needs, thus potentially increasing product competitiveness. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in increasing public financial literacy and helping MSMEs develop their products, although further assistance is needed so that the results achieved can be implemented optimally.

Abstract

Effective financial administration management depends not only on the accuracy of numbers, but also on the completeness and orderliness of supporting documents. At PT Swabina Gatra, weaknesses in the documentation system-particularly the lack of consistent utilization of receipts-caused difficulties in the process of tracing transactions and verifying invoices. This activity aims to encourage increased awareness and discipline of staff in using receipts as part of the internal control mechanism. The implementation was carried out through a hands-on approach, including mapping the work procedures of the Billing Unit, designing a standardized receipt format, and implementing a structured document delivery and filing system. The consistent application of receipts has been proven to reduce the risk of information loss and recording errors, and support the establishment of a more orderly and transparent work environment. With organized documentation, the company has a strong foundation to ensure accountability and traceability of every financial activity.

Abstract

Youth represent a strategic group in regional development; however, Pasuruan City has yet to establish a Regional Regulation (Perda) that specifically governs youth affairs. The absence of such regulation has resulted in weak governance, limited formal youth participation, and the lack of integration of youth-related issues into regional development planning. This study employs a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach to examine the urgency of formulating a Youth Regulation as a catalyst toward establishing Pasuruan as a Youth-Friendly City. The findings reveal that a Youth Regulation is critically needed as a legal and policy instrument to build an inclusive, structured, and sustainable youth governance system. It also provides the legal foundation for local policymaking, enhances youth participation in development processes, and supports the fulfillment of Youth-Friendly City indicators as outlined in Ministry of Youth and Sports Regulation No. 11 of 2017. Furthermore, this study identifies several challenges, including weak political commitment and a lack of local data, while also highlighting opportunities such as the strengthening of youth communities and the support of national regulatory frameworks. The study recommends that the Pasuruan City Government promptly initiate the drafting of a Youth Regulation through multi-stakeholder collaboration and the integration of Youth-Friendly City indicators into local development planning documents. The establishment of this regulation is not merely a response to administrative demands but a long-term investment in building a just and sustainable development ecosystem centered on the younger generation.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide knowledge regarding digital literacy so that the public can use information technology wisely and responsibly, avoiding being easily influenced by inaccurate news, and protecting themselves from illegal online loan offers. Furthermore, this activity aims to provide additional knowledge and implement digital marketing practices through WhatsApp and TikTok to market screen printing products. By implementing digital marketing, marketing reach will expand, increasing the opportunity for consumers to purchase screen printing products. The method includes focus group discussions (FGDs), outreach, and practical exercises. This activity progresses through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of this community service are that participants have a greater understanding and appreciation of the importance of digital literacy to protect the public from the negative impacts of current digital technology. Participants also understand the importance of online loan services (pinjol), emphasizing the need to be vigilant, selective, and not easily tempted by illegal loan offers. Meanwhile, regarding digital marketing, participants expressed enthusiasm for trying digital marketing through WhatsApp and TikTok. Participants are able to manage their stores using WhatsApp Business or their TikTok stores to promote and market their screen-printing entrepreneurs

Abstract

The empowerment of the elderly through environment-based and creative economic activities has been demonstrated to have great potential to improve their quality of life, both socially and economically. The objective of this Community Service Program is to enhance the productivity of the elderly by leveraging a waste bank as a resource for the production of eco-print products. The community service program was implemented in Benda Baru Village, Pamulang District, South Tangerang City, involving elderly participants from the Elderly Health Post (Posyandu Lansia) and local waste bank managers. The program was meticulously designed, comprising multiple phases. These phases included initial coordination, socialization, technical training in eco-printing, production assistance, and evaluation and follow-up. The outcomes of this study indicate an enhancement in the participants' proficiency in processing natural materials from the waste bank into eco-print products with market value, including fabric, bags, and tablecloths. The program's social impact was multifaceted, including the enhancement of self-confidence and social engagement among the elderly participants, a reduction in loneliness, and the strengthening of social bonds within the community. Participants have begun to utilize their newly acquired skills to produce eco-print products, thereby opening up micro-business opportunities based on these products. Significant environmental impacts have been observed, including a reduction in organic waste and an increase in environmental awareness among participants, which can be attributed to the implementation of waste management through the waste bank. However, challenges such as limitations in product marketing and inconsistent raw material supply must be addressed. This program demonstrates that eco-print-based empowerment and waste management for the elderly can create sustainable positive impacts for the elderly, the local economy, and the environment. In the future, the program should concentrate on advanced training in marketing and the use of digital platforms to expand the market reach of the products produced.
