Abstract

PPSQ Asy-Syadzili as one of the big boarding schools with a total of more than 1,000 students has extraordinary resources if used properly. So far, many resources have not been utilized optimally or are still managed by outsiders. Therefore, this service activity aims to help students take advantage of the internal and external resources and market share of the cottage and make it a place for direct learning how to be a polite and successful entrepreneurship. The concrete steps to be taken are to encourage students to have an entrepreneurial spirit. The business idea taken is a food and beverage business which is the basic needs of the students themselves. Because the activity was carried out during the pandemic, the training was carried out online by uploading tutorial videos on YouTube. The evaluation results after the training showed that participants had a high level of satisfaction, great benefits and the ability of participants to continue the results of the training in starting a business and teaching these skills to other residents. Participants give suggestions so that they can get other training in the future.

Abstract

Harum Institution is a social institution that is engaged in elevating the dignity of marginalized communities in the city of Malang. The purpose of this service activity is to provide spiritual strengthening for families and foster parents who are members of the Harapan Ummat Malang institutional community. The method of this activity is observation, interviews and about motivation and management of strengthening families and foster parents as well as interactive dialogue to provide solutions to family problems and successful parenting. The results of this of this service activity provide spiritual services in the form of tausiah and enlightenment and motivation to strengthen families and foster parents at the Harapan ummat Institution. Provide material about future family management in facing challenges, moral decline and difficulties in the economic field, towards a successful family in the hereafter.

Abstract

This community service aims to accommodate the needs of tourism vocational school teachers in improving English language skills, especially English for hospitality and tourism industry through online English language training. The participants are tourism English teachers at SMK Putikecwara Batu. This activity is expected to improve the quality of learning at the SMK Putikecwara Batu through improving the English language skills of the teachers, which will then be implemented in the classroom and help students improve their English language skills in the tourism sector, especially hospitality and tourism industry. This activity is carried out in four stages, namely planning (to determine the number of participants who will be involved and the materials needed in the training), surveys to schools (to ensure that the plans made are in accordance with the needs), training implementation, and evaluation (giving questionnaires to the participants related to the implementation and training materials).

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) in 2021, was carried out to provide training and guidance to mothers in the area around Pawon Buci Malang on Business Correspondence to help promote and market products from Pawon Buci Malang. The method used by the PkM Implementation Team is to provide an explanation of the meaning of letters, understanding of business correspondence, the importance of correspondence (especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic), requirements for a good letter, function of letters, language of letters, nature of business letters, form of letters, sections -Department of Letters, Sales Methods - Direct Sales, Kinds of Letters (Introduction Letters, Offer Letters, Order Acceptance Letters, Order Confirmation Letters, Order Rejection Letters). This PkM activity received high enthusiasm from the participants. The enthusiasm was evidenced by the completeness of the 5 participants who listened carefully and actively from the beginning to the end of the activity. The PkM Implementation Team concluded that all participants were able to put the results of the training into practice by being able to write the necessary documents to promote and market Pawon Buci products.

Abstract

This PPM is held to reformulate the determination of the basic water tariff on the clean water management unit that is part of BUMDes Desa Wringinsongo, a method used with a qualitative approach where the team identifies the problem of the partner, then determines the objectives, reformulates and implements the partner. PPM results recommend the use of water account applications as well as admin fee of Rp.1000

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to assist online training in making tote-bag skills for foster children of the orphanage foundation. The activities are divided into four stages, the first is by preparing a module in the form of a flip-chart containing the required materials and steps to make a tote-bag. The second stage is to form a group-discussion between the target audience through whatsapp-group media and private messages. The third stage is to send the basic materials needed to make products, the last is online assistance. Online assistance includes several steps, namely: Knowledge transfer process, which is an explanation how to make a product based on the flip-chart module, followed by an interactive discussion between members and facilitators using picture-sharing or voice-messages. The final stage is an evaluation of the level of members’ achievements, where each member is required to upload photos of the final knitted product. Based on the final evaluation, it can be concluded that the online mentoring went smoothly and enriched the knowledge and skills of the target audience. Communication was running effectively, as discussions were not limited by space and time, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic the target audiences can continue to learn independently while still being able to maintain their physical-distancing.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to design a child care Financial Statement with EMKM Financial Accounting Standards so that financial reports can be given to the Foundation that oversees the daycare. PA employees also have to make financial reports that were previously converted into a computerized system/manual so that financial reports can be prepared in a transparent, effective, and efficient manner. This activity is implemented with carried out socialization and assistance in the preparation of PA financial reports with the systematic application of financial reports using Microsoft Excel. From the evaluation results that have been carried out, the results of this activity have been able to improve understanding and skills in preparing PA financial reports in the form of recording contributions, Statements of Financial Position, and Income Statements.

Abstract

To minimize the spread of covid 19, the mobile marketplace is one alternative to get around the prohibition on meeting directly between sellers and buyers to reduce the spread of covid-19 but still encourage economic movement, especially sales of production. The method in this service is carried out by discussing and demonstrating the use of the mobile marketplace. The result is that the flagship product business group Kampoeng Kajoetangan Heritage is starting to be able to use a good mobile marketplace to sell the products they produce By using the marketplace technique, it is expected to increase profits on sales because the market reach will be wider.

Abstract

Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit is someone who acts creatively and innovatively. An entrepreneur regardless of whether due to talent or from the process of developing skills, in general, has the following characteristics: likes to try, is strong even though he fails, is confident, has good self-determination or locus of control, dares to take all risks, sees change as a challenge and chance. Santriwati is in an agricultural environment, so there are many leaves from various types of plants that can be used for the godhong batik motif. An interesting focus for community service is the godhong batik friction training because the material is quite affordable by utilizing the patterns and sap of various types of plants (leaves) that exist in our environment. The problem found is that the development of the skills of women or female students is not optimal, therefore it is necessary to develop self-capacity for santriwati Ponpes Nurul Ikhsan Malang Regency, based on creative and innovative economics through godhong batik friction skills, so as to improve life skills.

Abstract

Ringin Asri Farmer Group – Kedung Banteng Village is one of the potential farmer groups which is indicated by the many activities carried out, including: sales of agricultural products such as fertilizers, insecticides, agricultural medicines and household necessities such as bath soap, dish soap , hand soap, toothbrush and others. The goods sold in this farmer group are obtained from large markets in Dampit, Turen and Malang. With the location of Sumbermanjing Wetan Village which is relatively far from urban areas, the prices of these goods become more expensive, even though soap products can be made by farmers using very simple technology. On the other hand, the teaching staff at the Department of Chemical Engineering – State Polytechnic of Malang already have the knowledge and skills in making dish soap and implementing the manufacture of dish washing in entrepreneurship courses. The purpose of community service (PPM) is to provide/transfer experience and skills in making and entrepreneurship of dish soap to the Ringin Asri Farmer Group - Kedung Banteng Village - Kec. Sumbermanjing Wetan. This PPM activity was carried out at the Kedung Banteng Village Hall using the lecture, discussion and practice of making dish soap. The results of the PPM showed that the participants interest, enthusiasm for participating in the activity was very high, which was indicated by the ability of participants to make dish soap independently and the results of the questionnaire given, where 95% of participants stated that they were very satisfied
