Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes by using the Problem-based learning model on theme 3, sub-theme 2, learning 1 with the subject matter characteristic of electronic media advertisements and digestive organ disorders in class V SD Negeri 105322 Desa Mesjid, academic year 2022/2023. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, with the research subject being Class V students at SD Negeri 105322 Desa Mesjid for the 2022/2023 academic year. There are 19 students, with details of 7 male students and 12 female students. This research was carried out in two learning cycles. With 4 (four) stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. The data collection tools are tests and observation sheets. Based on the initial tests conducted, it was found that of the 19 students who took the pre-test, there were 7 students who completed the learning outcomes with a percentage of 37% and 12 students who had not completed the pre-test with an average percentage of 63% with an average of 59. ,4. Researchers followed up in cycle I by using the Problem based learning learning model on theme 3 sub-themes 2 learning 1 subject matter features of electronic media advertising and digestive organ disorders, the acquisition of cycle I results increased to 11 students who completed learning outcomes with a percentage of 58% and there were 8 students incomplete with a percentage of 42% with an average classical score of 71. Based on the temporary conclusion, that student learning outcomes have not been as expected or have not reached a good classical completeness percentage level, so it needs improvement and development in cycle II. In cycle II, the acquisition of student learning outcomes increased to 16 students who completed their learning outcomes with a percentage of 84% and not yet completed 3 students with a percentage of 16% with an average classical score of 83.

Abstract

Book is a window to the world. By reading books, we can get a variety of knowledge that we do not know. The meaning of books as windows to the world can be doubted today. Given the internet provides a lot of information with a much more attractive appearance. Both books and the internet provide a wealth of information and knowledge. But in fact books are still the mainstay of accurate sources of knowledge. A lot of information on the internet is in fact not supported with accuracy. Even in the world of higher education, books are the main reference source in scientific writing. However, old books that may have started to become dull and the writing can no longer be read resulted in the reader of the book not being able to know the knowledge contained in the old book. Based on observations, it is necessary to build a computerized system so that the writings in the book can be read again. One method that can be used is the Thresholding method. The system is designed with MATLAB programming application. In this process, it is necessary to scan or take photos/pictures from cellphone cameras from old book manuscripts to be processed on the system using the Thresholding method. After carrying out the testing process on several images of old books, better results were obtained so that the writing on the manuscript could be seen more clearly with different threshold values for each image entered into the system.

Abstract

The main factor that causes students to have difficulty learning jurisprudence is the lack of motivation both internal motivation and outside motivation. This can be seen from the learning process which shows that there are still many students who do not pay attention to the teacher who provides the subject matter. This study aims to determine efforts to improve the fiqh learning achievement of class IX MTs Private Yaspen Muslim Pematang Tengah students through the application of the Experience Skill Learning Model. The results showed that the cognitive abilities of class IX MTs. Yaspen Muslim students were very good as evidenced by the response of students who showed exemplary attitudes while participating in teaching and learning activities in the field of Jurisprudence studies. In the first cycle, some students are seen to be active in learning activities. Then, after the implementation of the Experience Learning learning model, students seem to be more active and responsive to the material being taught. The application of the Experience Learning model at the beginning of the meeting was ineffective because students had never participated in learning activities with the model. Then the learning model is applied through group discussion activities, direct practice and reflecting actions in each cycle. The application of this model goes well along with the ongoing learning and teaching activities by involving the participation of students as Student Oriented. The achievement of cognitive abilities of class IX MTs. Yaspen Muslim students has increased significantly after learning the field of Fiqh studies using the Experience Learning model.

Abstract

Islamic education views knowledge as a way to bring people closer to Allah SWT. In the hadith perspective, the duties and manners of learners are key elements in the formation of Islamic character. This study examines the guidelines for the duties and manners of learners in the hadith, as well as their relevance in the context of modern education. Using a qualitative approach through literature study, this research reveals that Islamic values such as sincere intentions, respect for teachers, perseverance in learning, and practicing knowledge have an important role in facing the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 era. This research contributes to the development of an Islamic education system that is not only based on traditional heritage but also adaptive to modern times. The findings are relevant for educational institutions, educators, and learners in building learning that is effective, ethical, and in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Google Forms as an evaluation medium in the assessment process of distance learning at SMP Rahmat Islamiyah Medan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Google Forms provides convenience for teachers in creating, distributing, and correcting evaluation questions efficiently. Additionally, students responded positively as they could easily access exam questions through digital devices. Although there were some obstacles such as unstable internet connections and limited device availability, overall the use of Google Forms improved the effectiveness and efficiency of the distance learning assessment process. This study recommends ongoing training for teachers and improvement of digital facilities to support technology-based learning.

Abstract

21st century learning is designed to prepare students to face the challenges of the complex globalization era. This research discusses creativity, innovation, and collaboration-based learning models as strategies to improve 21st century skills, which include critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity (4C). Using a literature study-based qualitative approach, this research explores the implementation of learning models such as Discovery Learning, Inquiry Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). These learning models are able to improve students' understanding of materials, such as zakat, through real projects that are relevant to daily life. The findings show that this approach is effective in developing students' creative, innovative and teamwork skills, while utilizing technology as a supporting tool. This research recommends strengthening project-based learning methods and technology integration to prepare students for future challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the environmental carrying capacity at SMK N 1 Merek through the implementation of waste bins and environmental education banners. The study employs a descriptive approach using observation and interviews to collect data. The findings indicate that the strategic placement of waste bins and informative educational banners significantly enhance students' awareness of environmental cleanliness. Additionally, the behavior of disposing of waste properly has shown a marked improvement. This study concludes that the combination of physical facilities and visual education effectively supports sustainable environmental management within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital learning media on the learning motivation of students at Bumrungsuksa Islamic Boarding School, Thailand. The research employs a Mixed Method Research approach to comprehensively gather quantitative and qualitative data. Research instruments include questionnaires to measure learning motivation levels and in-depth interviews with students and teachers to explore their experiences and perceptions. The results indicate that the use of digital learning media significantly enhances students' learning motivation, particularly in terms of interest and active participation. However, challenges such as limited access to technological devices and infrastructure support were also identified. This study recommends improving digital facilities and providing teacher training to maximize the benefits of digital learning media in educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' interest in learning Fiqh through the use of instructional media at MTs Muhammadiyah 13 Medan. The research employed classroom action research (CAR) methods consisting of two cycles, with each cycle involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings revealed that the application of innovative learning media significantly improved students' learning interest. This was evidenced by the increased results of the learning interest questionnaire and students' active participation during the learning process. Thus, the appropriate use of instructional media can be an effective strategy to enhance students' interest in learning Fiqh.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the teaching strategies and learning media utilized in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SDIT Al-Marjan in Bengkulu City, an Islamic-based school that integrates general education with religious values. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to examine the application of project-based learning (PjBL) and the use of digital technologies such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and social media as learning tools. The findings indicate that despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and teachers’ technological competencies, the school successfully fostered an interactive and adaptive learning environment. This was achieved through active teacher involvement, parental support in shaping students’ digital literacy, and the use of diverse learning media. In conclusion, contextual and collaborative teaching strategies and media play a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, particularly in Islamic value-based schools in the digital era.
