Abstract

Fiqh is a branch of Islamic science that discusses the laws of sharia that regulate the lives of Muslims. The subject of Fiqh in schools has an important role in shaping students' understanding of Islamic teachings, but is often considered difficult and uninteresting by students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of teachers in creating an effective learning atmosphere in the subject of Fiqh at MTs Baitur Ridha, Bahorok Langkat District. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand teacher strategies in increasing students' interest in learning and the obstacles faced in the learning process. The results of the study show that teachers not only act as teachers, but also as motivators who build students' enthusiasm for learning. Interactive methods such as discussion and practice are more effective than monotonous lecture methods. In addition, strategies such as question and answer methods and the use of technology such as computers and infocus have been shown to increase student engagement. However, there are still obstacles such as students' lack of interest in Fiqh material which is considered theoretical and monotonous, as well as limited variations in teaching methods. Interaction between teachers, schools, and parents also plays a role in supporting the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to implement mind mapping in learning activities and to determine the effect of mind mapping implementation in learning activities on students' character education. Mind mapping is a learning method that uses images, lines, colors, symbols, and simple words to maximize the use of the right and left brain. Mind mapping can help students understand concepts or materials thoroughly, improve memory, and make it easier to organize various information. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. This study is expected to examine the implementation of mind mapping in learning activities and its effect on character education

Abstract

This study looks at the use of peer learning techniques as a substitute to boost students' passion for learning, which is seen to be doable in a classroom setting. This study aims to investigate how well peer learning techniques might boost students' enthusiasm to learn in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education classes in class XII IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Besitang. This research employs a case study design and a descriptive qualitative methodology. Direct observation, document collection, and interviews were used as data collection methods. The interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which comprises the steps of data filtering, information display, and conclusion formulation, served as the basis for the data analysis. The results of the study show that using peer learning strategies helps students become more motivated to learn. By using this method, students become more actively involved in the learning process, which makes it more dynamic, dialogical, and critical thinking-oriented.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of the hadith tarbawi about children's education contained in the Sahih Bukhari and Muslim in the context of children's education in the modern era. Children's education in Islam has a strong foundation, which not only includes academic aspects, but also character and moral education. The study of this study is related to the hadith tarbawi about children's education in the Sahih Bukhari Muslim towards children's education in the modern era. The method that will be used to strengthen the application and approach of the hadith tarbawi about children's education in the Sahih Bukhari Muslim towards children's education in the modern era is a qualitative research method that can be interpreted as literature or library research which is expected to provide new insights and practical recommendations for parents, educators, government, and society in educating children in the midst of the challenges of the times. This research can also provide a positive contribution to the development of children's education, as well as increase public awareness of the importance of character and moral education based on Islamic teachings in forming a quality generation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing bullying behavior at SMP IT Darur Rasyid Aceh Singkil. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that Islamic Religious Education teachers play a crucial role in preventing bullying through three main aspects: (1) educative role, by teaching moral values and Islamic teachings that forbid harming others; (2) guidance role, by providing Islamic counseling and support to students involved in bullying; and (3) exemplary role, by serving as role models through daily behavior and attitudes. Preventive efforts are also implemented through religious activities such as Qur’an recitation, congregational prayers, and short sermons that instill compassion and Islamic brotherhood. This study concludes that Islamic Religious Education teachers significantly contribute to creating a harmonious, religious, and bullying-free school environment.

Abstract

Teachers must be able to design lessons that stimulate students' thinking by using innovative media in the current era of globalization, chief among them media based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This will be seen in the high school learning process, making AI-based media technology an aid in promoting students' creativity and intellectual growth. The use of innovative technology-based media in elementary school education is a diversion from the use of conventional text-based media. The application of AI in education will bring new perspectives and positive changes in teaching and learning as it will make teaching and learning easier for teachers and students in high schools. In this era of globalization, artificial intelligence (AI) media based on theory and information technology (IPTEK) is needed to increase student activity and academic performance in high school.

Abstract

This research aims to develop innovative learning methods that can increase student involvement in Islamic Religious Education classes. The approach used is qualitative descriptive with interview, observation, and documentation methods to identify students' challenges and needs in learning. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the use of interactive learning methods, such as group discussions, the use of educational technology, and contextual approaches that are relevant to students' daily lives, can significantly increase students' active participation. This innovation also encourages more collaborative and reflective learning, so that students can understand religious values more deeply and applicatively. Thus, innovative learning methods are expected to be able to create a more dynamic and participatory learning environment, as well as strengthen students' religious understanding.

Abstract

Educational facilities really determine the success of education, because facilities and infrastructure play a very important role in the learning process. Facilities and infrastructure influence the learning process, thereby determining whether learning runs effectively and efficiently.The aim of this research is a way to identify and obtain discussion regarding the use of learning facilities and infrastructure in implementing the independent curriculum at Muhammadiyah 57 Medan SMP school. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, namely describing the subject about the situation and data obtained during this observation and research, namely the school principal, teachers and school committee. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. This research states and provides an overview of the use of facilities and infrastructure in implementing the independent curriculum at Muhammadiyah 57 Medan SMP school. The results of this research prove that the implementation of the curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan has been implemented optimally and is ongoing, although the implementation still has shortcomings and obstacles. The key to success comes from implementing the curriculum at Muhammadiyah 57 Medan SMP school, meaning that the principal and teachers must have the will to make changes. The principal as a leader must be able to change the mindset of the human resources in the school to want to make changes so that the independent curriculum can be implemented.

Abstract

This article will discuss the role of Islamic religious education in schools in forming the character of teenagers. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is one of the most important pillars of character education. Character education will grow well if it starts from instilling a religious spirit in children, therefore PAI material in schools is one of the supports for character education. Through PAI learning, students are taught aqidah as the basis of their religion, taught the Koran and hadith as a guide to life, taught fiqh as legal guidelines in worship, taught Islamic history as a living example, and taught morals as a guide to human behavior whether in the category of good or bad. bad. Therefore, the main goal of PAI learning is the formation of personality in students which is reflected in their behavior and thought patterns in everyday life. Apart from that, the success of PAI learning at school is also determined by the application of appropriate learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to develop students' ability to express opinions in Islamic Religious Education classes. The approach used is qualitative descriptive with interview, observation, and documentation methods to identify students' challenges and needs in learning. Based on the results of the analysis of case studies, it was found that the use of interactive learning methods, such as group discussions, student presentations, question and answer methods, as well as contextual approaches that are relevant to students' daily lives, can significantly improve students' ability to express opinions. This innovation also encourages more cognitive and reflective learning, so that students can understand the importance of being good at expressing opinions. Thus, innovative learning methods are expected to be able to create students who are skilled and confident in expressing their opinions.
