Immunomodulators are substances that have the ability to balance and restore a dysfunctional immune system, reduce the body's immune response due to excessive immune activity and stimulate leukocyte cells, especially macrophages, to form a strong immune system. The aim of this study was to determine the immunomodulatory activity of kabau leaves (Archidendron bubalinum) in male white rats in terms of the phagocytosis index, number of leukocyte cell types and spleen histopathology. This research design used 35 mice as test animals and then divided them into 6 groups, namely negative control, positive control (Stimuno dose 50 mg), kabau leaf extract 20 mg, n-hexane fraction 6.66 mg, ethyl acetate fraction 4 mg, water fraction 6.66 mg, each group consisted of 5 male rats. Immunomodulatory activity was seen from the phagocytosis index and the number of leukocyte cell types at 10 and 15 minutes. The results showed that the 6 treatments had significantly different immunostimulatory activities with a significant value of less than 0.05. The results of the phagocytosis index calculation showed that the highest value was Stimuno at 3.33, then the 6.66 mg n-hexane fraction was 2.49, the 4mg ethyl acetate fraction was 1.63, the 20 mg extract was 1.26, and the water fraction was 6.66 mg. 1.27. From these results it can be concluded that kabau (Archidendron bubalinum) leaf extracts and fractions have immunostimulant activity

Asian palmyra palm (lontar) fronds are a byproduct generated from the asian palmyra palm plant. To add value to these fronds, they can be converted into activated charcoal. This study aims to determine the properties of activated charcoal derived from asian palmyra palm fronds and the effects of activation temperature and chemical concentration on these properties. The activation process was conducted using H3PO4 solution with two concentration variations, 10% and 20%, for 24 hours, and three temperature variations, 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C, each for 60 minutes. The data obtained were analyzed using R software version 4.3.1. The effects of the variation factors in H3PO4 concentration and activation temperature on the yield and characteristics of the activated charcoal were calculated using two-way ANOVA with a 95% confidence level. The properties of the activated charcoal produced met the SNI 06-3730-1995 standard for technical activated charcoal, with yield, moisture content, ash content, volatile matter content, fixed carbon content, and iodine adsorption values of 80.41%, 0.42%, 9.35%, 8.28%, 82.38%, and 668.13 mg/g, respectively. The best properties of activated charcoal were obtained from the activation treatment at 600°C and 20% H3PO4 concentration

Children with special needs have different characteristics, but they still deserve education and training tailored to their needs. This is especially true for children with intellectual disabilities who struggle to help themselves. Limitations in self-help, which often require support from others around them, require special attention so that they can care for themselves. The purpose of this study is to explain the use of a modelling approach to improve the independence of students with special needs. The technique used is a qualitative approach using a case study that includes clinical observations, interviews, and psychological tests. Based on the evaluation results, ACR was diagnosed with intellectual disability. Self-help is an appropriate intervention option. The intervention consisted of 11 sessions over 10 days using a modelling approach, with baselines of putting on clothes, buttoning clothes, putting on trousers, putting on a belt, and putting on shoes. Findings showed that ACR only failed in one of the five objective behaviours, which was wearing a belt, as ACR still struggled to insert the belt into each hole in the pants

Work accidents are generally caused by two main factors: unsafe actions and unsafe conditions. According to the domino theory, lack of control and basic causes are the main causes of hazardous actions. This study aims to analyze the determinants of the causes of unsafe actions in the construction project of X Apartment. This research is a quantitative study with a crossectional design, conducted at the X Apartment construction project from September 2023 to March 2024. The population was 200 workers, with a sample of 134 workers based on the Slovin formula. Data analysis used linear regression tests and path analysis. The results showed that the highest age was 22-37 years as many as 95 people (70.9%) and the highest level of education among workers was high school as many as 85 people (62.9%). There is an effect of lack of control on unsafe action (0.001), It is recommended that workers pay attention to their physical capabilities and not push themselves beyond the limits of their physical abilities. Management is also expected to pay attention to the physical capabilities of workers to avoid unsafe acts

Chemical weapons have been outlawed as part of CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radioactive, Nuclear, and Explosive) weapons under the Chemical Weapons Convention since 1993. The convention's purpose is to eradicate all types of weapons of mass destruction by preventing participating states from developing, producing, acquiring, storing, retaining, transferring, or using chemical weapons, including those developed, produced, and used. The poisoning of Alexei Navalny in 2020 with the nerve toxin Novichok sparked widespread concern about the topic of chemical weapons in the twenty-first century. This study combined qualitative methodologies with descriptive analyses to better comprehend the incident. Strict enforcement, increased international collaboration, and improved detection technology are critical to preventing their spread. This episode worsened relations between Russia and the West, highlighting the breakdown of standards prohibiting the use of chemical weapons. The same nerve toxin was used to poison Sergei Skripa and his daughter in Salisbury. This chemical is difficult to detect and has a quick and fatal effect on the human body. Its usage in attacks on humans has raised serious concerns around the world. As a result, a coordinated and comprehensive global reaction is required to confront the threat of chemical weapons while upholding international rules barring their use
