Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA (Pengabdian Untuk Anak Negeri) Indonesia merupakan wadah untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam bentuk Jurnal ilmiah dan Open Accessed System. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra se Kepulauan Riau (Idebahasa Kepri). Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Jurnal Puan Indonesia meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di OJS system Jurnal Puan Indonesia maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Jurnal Puan Indonesia menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan dengan: sosial, kependidikan, sains, keolahragaan, bahasa, bisnis dan ekonomi dari berbagai kalangan akademisi dan peneliti baik nasional maupun internasional. Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA akan menerbitkan jurnal secara bilingual pada bulan Juli dan Januari setiap tahunya. JPI menerapkan kebijakan blind review dimana setiap tulisan yang masuk akan dikirimkan kepada mitra bestari yang terdaftar di JPI. Proses review dapat berlangsung maksimum sampai 30 (tiga puluh) hari kerja dengan alokasi waktu yang diberikan kepada tiap mitra bestari dalam menyelesaikan proses review nya adalah maksimum 14 (empat belas) hari kerja. Jika mitra bestari yang ditunjuk sebelumnya tidak mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaan review-nya dalam tenggat waktu yang ditentukan maka ketua dewan redaksi akan menunjuk mitra bestari pengganti untuk melakukan review tulisan yang dimaksud.

Abstract

The mothers of the Bundo Kanduang MSME community are an association of mothers who have businesses in the Tiban area of ??Batam City, this community was founded in 2019 with the aim of increasing friendship between mothers who have businesses that are run offline or online such as selling through live streaming Facebook or on the buying and selling forum (FJB) Batam City group. During this time the activities carried out are in the form of recitations which are carried out routinely once a month. Based on the results of observations made, several problems were found in the buying and selling process of this community, such as 1) limited number of audiences watching, 2) market limitations, because it is only for Batam city residents, 3) low level of trust from potential buyers, 4) intense competition tightness and delivery, and other issues. Based on the problems above, e-commerce training is provided and how to promote its products so that there is an increase in consumers. The training is given using the guided discovery method, which is a learning method based on the participants' experiences, then the presenters provide a solution, namely using e-commerce, resulting in an account that can be used to sell. After one month of observing the e-commerce that had been made, it was found that there were several products that experienced a significant increase in sales, namely balado chips and parfume.

Abstract

Last decade has been enormosly rapid growt of technology development in all areas of industries in the world including private data into the technology in its core system or application. The importance of data and information security is getting crucial amid the information era, those are done so to enhance the security of technology and electronic transactions users getting more control to their data and information to a higher level of security. These data protection efforts are no exception to the data and information owned by students or participants. Community service activities targeted by the school that have been carried out several times have a positive impact on both the school, especially for the student. The result of this event is achieved that measured with the enthusism from the participants during the Lectures. The result shows the comprehensive of understanding among the student increased related to the privacy and security aspects. They have better expertise in securing personal data and information and generate the harmless action in internet activity tha leas to harming the participants also related to information and telecommunication technology or ITE. Aspect of knowledgein ITE Laws in Indonesia was so important as participant aware of their action has to be manages as the proportion of normality during their internet usage as well.

Abstract

The community service aims to increase the understanding of stakeholders, especially Nagari officials, members of the Board of Commissioners, members of institutions, and community representatives in Nagari Pakan Sinayan regarding the ways to prepare the Nagari RPJM document so as to produce a draft document for Nagari Pakan Sinayan's Medium Term Development Plan and this activity gave rise to the draft Nagari development plan in accordance with the regulations of the Minister of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Numbers 37 and 66 in 2007. The methods used in this activity are lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and assistance in preparing the RPJM Nagari. Implementation of preparation assistance in the form of providing material for 1 day and technical assistance activities for 2 months to provide guidance and assistance in perfecting the drafting of the Nagari RPJM document which is adjusted to the Regional RPJM, Regency Strategic Plan, and the Vision and Mission of the elected Walinagari.

Abstract

The transformation from past technology to more advanced technology is easy and fast. In the past, before the age of computers, let alone smartphones, bookkeeping in business was usually done using books, business bookkeeping records usually used legend books, which were quite thick and quite complicated when looking for debt and credit data based on date, because everything was written manually. Now there is a BukuWarung application that can be used for stalls, internet cafes, salons, photocopying businesses, and so on. BukuWarung's financial application is very easy to use and provides many benefits such as data that is stored securely, can make different bookkeeping, remembers automatic debt payments, available cashier application, automatic financial reports, and other benefits. The BukuWarung financial application is very practical, you only need a smartphone and don't carry books anywhere.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication between humans in people's lives in the sound of speech produced by human speech instruments. Language in its function as a means of communication its existence is very important in society. Without language in communicating, between speakers and interlocutors will have difficulty in capturing the communication message. Communication through language allows everyone to adjust to their physical and social environment and to learn the habits, culture and background of the interlocutor. Our culture judges that speaking using polite language will show our true ethics, education, and culture as human beings who are well respected as human beings. Whether or not a speech is polite depends on the size of the politeness of the people speaking a language. Speech in Indonesian is generally considered polite if speakers or speech partners use words that do not contain direct ridicule, do not command directly, and respect others. Good and correct use of language will be necessary in conveying messages to others. Both direct and indirect messages use message characteristics that need to be understood by others. The use of language to communicate is inseparable from the determinants of communication acts and the principles of politeness and realized in communication acts.

Abstract

The high exposure to information and the rapid circulation of hoax information in Indonesia, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, indicate the importance of digital literacy education for all parties. Literacy education for students needs to be carried out considering that students are the highest internet users in Indonesia. Literacy education activities are highly recommended to be carried out in formal institutions/organizations or the school environment. SMA Immanuel is one of the educational institutions in the city of Batam that requires assistance regarding digital literacy at SMA Immanuel. This training was carried out to provide (1). Knowledge and understanding of digital literacy and digital security (2). Understanding of hoax news and skills in avoiding the spread of hoax news, and (3). Skills in wise social media management. This coaching method are using lecture, discussion, and practice methods with a duration of 1 hour per session for 4 alternate meetings and is scheduled to involve 7 service members. This coaching is conducted in online meetings using the Zoom application. This coaching will be given to Immanuel school students in the city of Batam, totaling around 10-15 people which will be carried out in the January-June 2022 range. The results of the activity show that there is a significant increase in skills both in digital literacy skills, handling hoaxes, and also social media management.

Abstract

Information and communication technology is growing rapidly. Information technology enters various fields ranging from the world of offices to medicine, business, the arts, culture, and many other fields, including education. In the world of education, there are many ways to take advantage of information technology, from making learning media to the learning process to presenting the material in the learning itself. All can rely on information technology; all that remains is to choose which technology is suitable to use. New problems arise when teachers cannot utilize the media. They continue to rely on traditional and outdated learning media. So it is certain that the material produced is less interesting and seems boring. In addition, today's students focus more on what they see. If you provide a special attraction, it will automatically impress them. In this training, the target is PAUD teachers. They will be given training on how to use the internet as a learning resource for their students. Many internet sites can be used as learning media. The material that will be delivered can be in the form of getting to know letters, knowing numbers, getting to know animals, getting to know plants, and much more. If you have to present material on the internet, of course you can't display it right away because it will take time. This is due to the advertisements that appear and other disturbances that must be transferred to the display media, such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Methods like these must be mastered by a teacher. The target of this training itself is to be able to use the internet as a learning medium and also use it for various other needs. This service activity was successfully carried out, and the results can be seen in the increased skills of the trainees in utilizing the internet as a learning medium. With this skill, it will certainly have an impact on the quality of learning and the material provided. The material provided becomes more varied and not boring.

Abstract

Citizen journalism was present in Indonesia beginning with the tsunami disaster in Aceh in 2004. Recorded images that could not be covered directly by journalists were finally able to be witnessed by wide audiences both locally, nationally, and internationally. So that the presence of citizen journalism using social media makes it a competitor as well as a complement in producing information for mass media institutions. GP Ansor (GP) is a youth, social, national, and religious organization with a populist character. This coaching and training were aimed at GP Ansor Youth, namely female students from the Sirrul Illahiyah Islamic Boarding School Batam to follow all the material that would be presented in this coaching activity, namely the basics of journalism, news writing, and press releases. As a result of this activity, participants gain knowledge and training on journalism, especially in making news and press releases that will be published by the media. The training activities were carried out by the service team for the female students of the Sirrul Illahiyah Islamic Boarding School in the Panaran plot of Tembesi Village for 5 days taking place as planned with 20 children participating. Everyone is enthusiastic and aware of journalism.

Abstract

Hearing the word smartphone technology may not seem foreign to some people, on the other hand, for certain people something is rarely used by the technology in it. The application in this smartphone itself is an existing facility on Android that allows users to be able to use it. Among the applications that can improve English skills are Hangman Game, Simon Says and Word Match. There are several games that can later be loaded to increase the user's skills. Given the importance and good use value of smartphone technology, it is necessary to introduce it to the community through community service programs, in this case the community that is deemed necessary at this time is the law office of Agus-Rio & Partners. Jl. Trans Barelang, Taman Cipta Asri II Block Boulevard A-12 with the target of participants being employees and the Taman Asri housing community. It is also undeniable that the use of smartphone technology is important. Where Law and Human Rights Offices are not only related to assistance within the country but also sometimes receive legal aid services outside the country such as Singapore and Malaysia. As is well known, certain activities at the Law Office require the presence of many participants, including employees and cooperating parties. It is hoped that through training on the use of smartphone technology this can become a platform for the basis for honing their English language skills.
