Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA (Pengabdian Untuk Anak Negeri) Indonesia merupakan wadah untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam bentuk Jurnal ilmiah dan Open Accessed System. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra se Kepulauan Riau (Idebahasa Kepri). Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Jurnal Puan Indonesia meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di OJS system Jurnal Puan Indonesia maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Jurnal Puan Indonesia menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan dengan: sosial, kependidikan, sains, keolahragaan, bahasa, bisnis dan ekonomi dari berbagai kalangan akademisi dan peneliti baik nasional maupun internasional. Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA akan menerbitkan jurnal secara bilingual pada bulan Juli dan Januari setiap tahunya. JPI menerapkan kebijakan blind review dimana setiap tulisan yang masuk akan dikirimkan kepada mitra bestari yang terdaftar di JPI. Proses review dapat berlangsung maksimum sampai 30 (tiga puluh) hari kerja dengan alokasi waktu yang diberikan kepada tiap mitra bestari dalam menyelesaikan proses review nya adalah maksimum 14 (empat belas) hari kerja. Jika mitra bestari yang ditunjuk sebelumnya tidak mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaan review-nya dalam tenggat waktu yang ditentukan maka ketua dewan redaksi akan menunjuk mitra bestari pengganti untuk melakukan review tulisan yang dimaksud.

Abstract

Demokrasi pendidikan adalah kesetaraan dalam mendapatkan hak dan kewajiban serta mendapatkan perlakuan yang tidak membeda-bedakan dalam mendapatkan pendidikan. Demokrasi pendidikan bukan hanya sekedar prosedur, tetapi juga nilai-nilai pengakuan terhadap harkat dan martabat manusia. Upaya demokrasi pendidikan diharapkan dapat mendorong munculnya individu-individu yang kreatif, kritis, dan produktif tanpa harus mengorbankan harkat dan martabatnya. Pendidikan merupakan proses pembentukan karakter manusia yang bermuara pada kemandirian hidup, membutuhkan pengaturan yang matang dan terencana. Oleh karena itu, peran pendidikan selalu diarahkan pada upaya peningkatan kualitas manusia. Keberhasilan pembangunan suatu bangsa akan sangat tergantung pada kondisi sumber daya manusia, sehingga pada kenyataannya diperlukan penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang mampu mengakomodasi tuntutan lingkungan dan masyarakat. Sehingga dapat terbangun individu-individu yang mau bekerja keras dan belajar sehingga potensi dirinya akan muncul ke permukaan. Potensi diri merupakan kemampuan yang terpendam sehingga harus diaktualisasikan, harus diimplementasikan dan harus dimanfaatkan sehingga dapat berguna bagi masyarakat dan dirinya sendiri. Selain itu, mengikuti organisasi di kampus sangat baik untuk diikuti karena banyak pembelajaran yang dapat diterima, salah satunya dapat bekerja dalam tim. Mengikuti organisasi kampus dapat memberikan kesempatan untuk berkembang dan maju secara pribadi, dengan mengikuti organisasi memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk menemukan kemampuan yang terpendam, menekuni hobi baru, dan memperluas wawasan.

Abstract

Sanggar Belajar (SB) yang dibina oleh Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah (PCIM) Malaysia yaitu SB Kampung Pandan dan SB Kampung Bahru memiliki beberapa permasalahan terkait pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dinilai terlalu monoton yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tentu saja persoalan ini dapat diupayakan pemecahan masalahnya salah satunya dengan pemberian pengayaan bagi siswa dan pelatihan bagi pengajar di SB Kampung Pandan dan SB Kampung Bahru Malaysia agar dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Kedua kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi anak-anak Indonesia yang ada di Malaysia. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan memanfaatkan sastra anak yang dikemas dalam bentuk video animasi terbukti mampu membuat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menjadi menyenangkan dan tidak monoton. Di samping itu, siswa memiliki pengalaman belajar berbeda dari biasanya dan lebih mudah mengenal serta mengingat kosa kata bahasa Indonesia yang baru mereka pelajari. Para pengajar di kedua sanggar belajar tersebut sangat mengharapkan diadakan kembali kegiatan pelatihan sejenis untuk menambah pengetahuan baru dan mengasah kreatifitas mereka dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

A community service team from TEDC Bandung Polytechnic conducted a community service activity in Cilame Village, Bandung Barat Regency. The activity was the construction of terraced ponds for fish farming. This activity aims to help improve the economy of Cilame Village residents with low incomes. The activity began with the formation of a community service team consisting of 13 people. The team then conducted a field survey to determine the location and theme of the community service. After that, the team made a letter of request to the Head of Rukun Warga 23, Cilame Village. The construction of the terraced pond was carried out at one of the residents' houses which had unused land in the front yard of their house. The pond is 2 meters x 1 meter x 0.5 meters in size. After the pond was completed, the community service team provided catfish and tilapia fry to the resident. The activity went smoothly and was completed on time. On April 12, 2021, the community service team handed over the pond to the residents of Cilame Village.

Abstract

Bullying is an action that is not new and occurs in society, especially among teenagers. In the past, we often used the term "April Fool's" where people were considered allowed to lie or tell jokes to other people without being considered guilty on a certain day. This day is marked by cheating and other pranks on friends with the aim of humiliating gullible people. This action under the guise of a "joke" is considered normal, but in many cases it has extraordinary impacts. In many cases, these actions cause damage to the victim's mental condition and even have an impact on the victim's psychology, some even commit suicide as a result of their actions under the guise of a "joke". Bullying is currently done by being oppressed, pressured, and so on. Bullying or harassment can be through words or through actions aimed at making the opponent's mental state worse and depressed. Another goal is to control someone through insulting, high-pitched words, threats, or violent actions. This is very likely to happen in various areas of society, both in the home, community and school environment, this is due to a lack of public understanding regarding bullying and its legal aspects. Therefore, coaching is related to the legal aspects of bullying and the ethics of using language in communication. Whether directly or through the media, this is very important and must always be done to create a superior social life.

Abstract

The problem is that the material using the "Heading" feature on the word processor application for automatic content list creation has not been submitted.  Another problem based on the observations is that the students are still not used to typing with ten fingers so it takes a long time when practicing computers.  The method used in the implementation of training activities is to display material continued with practicum. The "Heading" feature complements the material already presented by the teacher of the TIK subject, where the material has not been presented in front of the class.  As a result of ten-finger drawing training, there was an improvement in the students' ability to type although not significantly. The training material is very relevant to the curriculum used by Madrasah Aliyah Miftahussaadah and complement the materials already learned in the learning process by the teacher of the TIK subject. The participants were very enthusiastic during the training, it is proved with the participant's activity during the receipt of the training material.  For the team especially the students give a positive impact to sharpen the softskill skills of the students before plunging into the world of work and industry as well as to society.

Abstract

The ring mold storage rack created is equipped with a ring mold search system as an alternative for the automatic ring mold search process. This system is built with several supporting components such as ESP32 microcontroller, Servo Motor, L9110 Motor Driver, DC Gearbox Motor, 16x2 LED. The result of this service activity is the creation of an automatic ring mold storage rack which is able to simplify and reduce the time of the ring mold searching process at CV. Ayuna Silver. The final results obtained from several testing processes carried out contained 3 invalid results from 10 system tests, this shows that the system has a system success percentage of up to 70%. The time needed to search for rubber molds before the automatic ring mold storage rack was around 20 minutes, after the automatic ring mold storage rack was installed using a mobile system, it was only take 0.20 minutes or 12 seconds.

Abstract

DPT (Permanent Voter List) comes from data from the last general election and elections. Through this DPT, the public can actively participate in the 2024 elections. One indicator of the success of the election is high voter participation, because it will provide strong legitimacy to whoever wins and becomes the government. If people are not registered in the DPT, they can propose an Additional Voter List (DPTb) so they can exercise their voting rights. Apart from that, the community also maintains a Special Voter List (DPK), which is a list of voters who have a residency identity but are not yet registered in the DPT and DPTb. For this reason, it is important for the Pariman Regency Bawaslu to supervise the DPTb and DPK proposal stages. Election monitoring strategies that can be carried out in involving the community are (1) Mapping and strengthening participants, (2) Determining appropriate information content, (3) Effective delivery of information, (4) Panwaslu as a facilitator. The methods used in this service are lectures, questions and answers, and discussions. The lecture was carried out in presenting material on forms of supervision that participants can carry out, reading potential problems in determining the DPTb and DPK and providing solutions so that the 2024 resumption runs smoothly. This activity was held on Tuesday 26 August 2023 at the Sambalado Hall, Jalan Zaini, Simpang Kurai Taji Village, Pariaman City.

Abstract

This community service report aims to disseminate information about digital marketing for MSME players. This community service report aims to disseminate information about digital marketing for MSME players. This was carried out by the community service team in Pucanggading Village, Bandar District, Batang Regency, Central Java. Digital marketing is a marketing effort that uses electronic devices or the internet to connect with customers. Socialization of digital marketing in the form of using social media is very important because it can provide knowledge to MSME players regarding the methods and stages of expanding consumer networks through the use of social media in marketing their products so that they can increase competitive advantage for MSMEs themselves. The lack of knowledge of MSME players regarding digital marketing inspired the Community Service team to provide outreach and provide training regarding the use of information and communication technology. If MSMEs understand the importance of digital marketing for their business, it is hoped that they will be motivated to use digital marketing as a means of communication and promotion, and can practice it directly by utilizing social media.

Abstract

The government is having difficulty dealing with the waste crisis in Batam and therefore needs help from the community. One way to help is by creating a waste bank in each housing area. This service activity aims to empower the community through the creation of a waste bank unit which is expected to reduce the volume of waste thrown into final disposal sites while empowering the community in the form of generating community income from managing waste. The method of implementing service is through counseling, socialization, implementation, and evaluation. To increase productivity, production materials, and socialization props are provided. Service activities succeeded in increasing production from 136.2 kg per month to 386 kg per month and increasing the waste bank revenue from IDR 290,000 to IDR 750,000 per month.
