Abstract

A study has been conducted to identify andesite rocks using the dipole-dipole geoelectric resistivity method in the Batursari Subdistrict, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java Province. Measurements were taken along 12 Lines stretching from northwest to southeast, with a Line length of 280 m and electrode spacing of 10 m. The aim of this research was to model the 2D resistivity value Line of the path, determine the type of andesite rock, and assess the depth of the rock in the study area. Based on data processing results, four lithology units were identified: resistivity values ranging from 0 to 150 Ωm were interpreted as soil, 150 to 250 Ωm as weathered andesite, 250 to 400 Ωm as moderate andesite, and resistivity values from 400 Ωm to 3000 Ωm were interpreted as fresh andesite.

Abstract

One of the complementary treatments to reduce pain is lemongrass, which contains pharmacological and chemical effects and gives a spicy and warm effect, with bioactivity anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. The aim of the study is describing the results of the nursing implementation of warm lemon grass compresses for older adults with rheumatoid arthritis with chronic pain in the working area of the Perumnas Public Health Center, Lubuklinggau City, in 2023. This research used case study method with two subjects with rheumatoid arthritis. It found that warm lemongrass compresses for five straight days showed decreased pain intensity before and after the intervention. The decrease in the pain intensity of subjects I and II from the pain scale 6, with moderate pain category, decreased to pain scale 3, with mild pain intensity category. Warm lemongrass compresses can reduce pain intensity in older adults with rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

Digitalization has the potential to improve services and connect people to numerous types of information. The University of North Sumatra (USU) in Indonesia also uses digitization through the Human Resources Bureau (HR) with the E-Office application. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness and user satisfaction of the E-Office program in order to increase employee performance by examining the relationship between the two using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. This study employs quantitative research techniques. This study collects data through non-probability sampling from primary and secondary sources. This study's data analysis methodologies include descriptive statistical analysis, partial least squares (PLS) statistics, hypothesis testing, and significance testing. The findings revealed that employee knowledge of how to use E-Office software had a substantial impact on enhancing operational efficiency.
