Abstract

The main purpose of this researches are to find out the relevance of the experimental method to increasing and to describe teacher’s efforts in applying the method in improving students’scientific attitudes scientific attitudes in elementary schools. This type of research was library research. Data wass collected by tracing and reviewing previous research journals, theses and books that were relevant to the research variabels. The results of the study showed that: (1) the application of the experimental method could improve students’scientific attitudes. This was shown by the changes in students scientific attitudes after using the exsperimental method in the learning process where there were improvement in students enthusiasm, self confidencec, courages in expressing their opinions during the learning process, (2) the teachers efforts in applying experimental methods to improving students scientivic attitudes were shown by giving the opportunities for students to be more actively, making the learning fun, and encourage the students to be involved directly in experimental learning, so that those efforts clou improve students scientific activities and attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of interactive video learning media in Natural Science in grade 6 SDN 02 Palembang. The research method used descriptive qualitative through observation and interviews techniques toward 3 teachers of grade 6. The results of the study showed that teachers need interactive video learning media that can facilitate understanding of science concepts more easily and effectively. This is due to the lack of interactive and technology-based learning resources in the school environment. It is hoped that interactive video learning media can be an interesting and effective teaching alternative to improve the Natural Science learning outcomes of students. Therefore, the development of interactive video learning media needs to be considered in preparing science learning plans in grade 6 SDN 02 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes using mind mapping techniques to help 9.1. students at SMPN 6 Bandung on the material Presence of Islam in the Archipelago, the subject of Islamic Religious Education. There were 30 students who participated in this classroom action research for two cycles. The first cycle teaches students about the presence of Islam in the archipelago using Mind Mapping, while the second cycle improves the first cycle after going through reflection. There were stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and review in each cycle. Tests, class observations, and student surveys all contribute to a body of information that is analyzed both numerically and subjectively. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes of 9.1. students at SMPN 6 Bandung increased drastically with the application of a mind mapping strategy. Thus, the mind mapping strategy for learning Islamic Religious Education can be well received by students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the beginning reading ability of class 3A students at SDN 02 Palembang, South Sumatra. The method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with class 3A students at SDN 02 Palembang. The results showed that many students still could not read fluently and did not understand the meaning of the words or sentences that were read. Researchers consider that students rely more on sound in learning, they can remember what other people read, and can remember if it is read repeatedly. The results of the study show that internal factors such as interest and tenacity, as well as external factors such as the learning environment and parental support, play an important role in reducing initial reading difficulties in students, especially for students who are already in grade 3 of elementary school.

Abstract

Most students' writing that is poorly organized and lacks essential details demonstrates their lack of writing proficiency. It was caused by the used of conventional learning, that it does not involve the acquisition of any new information or resources and the teacher maintains a preeminent role in the learning process. The focus of this study is on how the cooperative learning model can be used to enhance students' composing abilities. Students at SDN 069 Cipamokolan's fifth grade participated in the research. Class action research is being used in this study. The findings of this study support the claim that the cooperative learning model can be used to boost the students' writing abilities in the fifth grade at State Elementary School 069 Cipamokolan. From 25% in the pre-cycle to 50% in the cycle I, the percentage of students who handed in complete writing assignments rose significantly. Then, in cycle II, 91% of students managed to finish the assignment. Fifth graders' writing skills can increase from using the cooperative learning model, so that's what we'll do here at SDN 069 Cipamokolan. Students can benefit from active learning, peer interaction, and peer support through the use of participatory learning strategies. It is hoped that teachers of elementary school students can use cooperative learning strategy to help their students become better non-fictive writers.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of teacher professionalism training and development programs in implementing the independent learning curriculum at MIN units in Labuan Bajo. The research questions focus on the impact of such programs on teachers' attitudes, knowledge, and practices, as well as the extent to which these programs improve the implementation of independent learning. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, consisting of surveys, interviews, and observations. The collected data will be analyzed through both descriptive and inferential statistics to identify any significant differences in teacher performance before and after participating in the training programs. The study's findings are expected to contribute to effectiveness of teacher professionalism training and development programs in enhancing the implementation of independent learning curriculums, particularly at MIN units in Labuan Bajo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya masalah sosial, salah satunya masalah perjudian. Perjudian merupakan fenomena sosial yang kian marak di antara sekian banyak masalah yang muncul ke permukaan bumi ini. Perjudian membawa dampak negatif baik bagi para pelaku judi, terutama bagi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dampak perjudian terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Gapong, Kecamatan Cibal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada berbagai bentuk jenis perjudian yang dilakukan masyarakat Desa Gapong, antara lain judi kartu, sabung ayam, billiard dan kupon putih. Implikasinya, sejumlah anak di Desa Gapong yang putus sekolah, sedangkan yang lain memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah, prestasi belajar menurun dan ketersediaan fasilitas belajar yang tidak memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk kekerasan dalam rumah tangga terhadap anak di Desa Kakor, kecamatan Lembor Selatan, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Total responden berjumlah 50 anak. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kekerasan orang tua terhadap anak di Desa Kakor. Bentuk kekerasan yang paling dominan adalah kekerasan fisik dan psikologis.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, siswa SD perlu menulis puisi bebas.Mereka perlu menggunakan diksi dengan tepat sehingga puisinya bernilai puitis. Namun,tuntutan penggunaan diksi sulit dipenuhi karena berhubungan dengan penguasaan siswa SDterhadap kosakata bahasa Indonesia. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan teknik khusus untukmemfasilitasi siswa tersebut dalam menggunakan diksi puitis untuk penulisan puisi bebas.Oleh karena itu, dalam tulisan ini diuraikan teknik identifikasi dan perluasan kata (ideluka)untuk membantu siswa SD dalam menggunakan diksi puitis untuk penulisan puisi bebas.Dalam teknik tersebut, pembelajaran menulis puisi dibuat secara bertahap mulai dari latihanmemperluas kata, frasa, atau kalimat yang telah diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan kata-katapuitis sampai pada latihan mengarangciptakan puisi bebas dengan memperluas katayang telah diidentifikasi dengan berbagai alternatif diksi puitis. Namun, istilah perluasandalam teknik ideluka tidak hanya bemakna kuantitatif, tetapi juga kulitatif. Artinya,perluasan kata dalam teknik ideluka bisa berarti menambah, bisa pula berarti menggantikansuatu kata dengan kata-kata lain yang bermakna lebih puitis. Oleh karena berisi latihansecara bertahap dengan fokus utama pada pencermatan diksi puitis, teknik ideluka diyaknidapat mengatasi permasalahan minimnya kemampuan siswa SD dalam menggunakan diksipuitis dalam penulisan puisi bebas. Secara metodologis, tulisan ini disusun denganmenggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Artinya, penulis membaca pandangan dari berbagaisumber kepustakaan dan mencatatnya pada suatu fiel di laptop. Pandangan dari berbagaisumber tersebut dikompilasi dan dikritisi sesuai dengan pertimbangan penulis.

Abstract

Artikel penelitian ini mengkaji penilaian sikap dalam kurikulum 2013. Teknik penelitianyang digunakan dapat berupa observasi yang dilakukan guru, penilaian diri, penilaianantarteman dan jurnal. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penilaiansikap di SDI Mbongos. Adapun kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif denganmetode deskripsi. Sumber data adalah guru kelas (I, II, IV dan V), guru agama dan kepalasekolah di SDI Mbongos. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi.Instrumen penelitian adalah pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berupamodel interaktif dengan langkah-langkah yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, danpenarikan kesimpulan. Dalam menguji keabsahan data, penelitian ini menggunakantriangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaanpenilaian sikap siswa di SDI Mbongos belum berjalan maksimal. 2) Hambatan guru dalampelaksanaan penilaian sikap siswa antara lain: guru-guru belum memahami karakteristikpenilaian sikap dalam kurikulum 2013, guru-guru tidak ingin merepotkan diri untukmengembangkan instrumen penilaian sikap siswa, dan guru-guru merasakan kekuranganwaktu. 3) Upaya guru dalam mengatasi hambatan pelaksanaan penilaian sikap siswa dalamkurikulum 2013 di SDI Mbongos antara lain: pertama, mengadakan pelatihan khusus tentangpenilaian sikap siswa seturut tuntutan kurikulum 2013; kedua, mencari sumber-sumberterpercaya untuk membantu guru-guru dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian sikap;ketiga, melakukan penilaian sikap siswa langsung setelah pembelajaran berlangsung danmenggunakan teknik yang bervariasi.
