Abstract

The swift expansion of e-commerce in the digital age has encouraged businesses utilize social media as a primary marketing tool to build customer loyalty. This paper is intended to analyze the influence of social media marketing activities (SMMA) on customer loyalty by using Customer Equity Drivers—comprising value equity, brand equity, and relationship equity—as mediating variables. This investigation utilizes a quantitative technique with an explanatory design. The study gathered data via questionnaires from 65 active e-commerce users in Cirebon City using accidental sampling. Data analysis utilized path analysis in order to examine the relationships occurring directly and indirectly considering the Stimulus–Organism–Response(SOR) models. The outcomes reveal that SMMA contribute positively to Customer Equity Drivers, and all dimensions significantly influence customer loyalty. These findings indicate that Customer Equity Drivers act as mediators in the relationship between social media marketing activities and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines the feasibility of using renewable energy to power an automated railway level crossing and evaluates its operational effect on adjacent urban traffic. The case study was conducted at the officially recognized but unguarded crossing on Jl. Rawa Simprug III, South Jakarta. Methodologically, this study applied a quantitative simulation-based approach. Field observations were conducted to identify electrical load parameters and baseline traffic conditions. These primary data were evaluated using the PKJI 2023 framework for macroscopic capacity, while HOMER Pro and PTV VISSIM were utilized for microgrid energy simulation and microscopic traffic evaluation, respectively. The proposed crossing system had an installed connected load of 770 W, equivalent to approximately 17.20 kWh/day. Four hybrid energy scenario families were compared. The most attractive configuration was a grid-assisted system consisting of 5.55 kW solar PV, six battery units, and grid backup, which produced the lowest reported net present cost of about IDR 40.9 million and electricity cost of about IDR 427.12/kWh. Under existing traffic conditions, the site operated at 1,752 pcu/h with a degree of saturation of 1.14, average delay of 29.31 s/veh, and level of service D. After implementation and traffic engineering, the best scenario reduced the degree of saturation to 0.74 and average delay to 12.59 s/veh, improving the level of service to B. The findings show that solar-led hybrid power is technically suitable for the study site, while traffic benefits depend on coordinated operation with the surrounding road network

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung, North Lombok, which became a major concern, particularly because many students experience academic anxiety and low self-confidence that hinder active participation and understanding of Buddhist Religious Education material. Initial observations revealed that students were reluctant to express opinions, easily distracted, and lacked focus during lessons. Loving-Kindness Meditation (Metta Bhavana) has been implemented at the school to enhance mental calmness and concentration; however, its effectiveness has not yet been empirically validated. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of examining the influence of Loving-Kindness Meditation and self-confidence, both individually and simultaneously, on students’ learning outcomes in Buddhist Religious Education, with the intention of providing empirical evidence regarding the role of spiritual and psychological aspects in supporting academic achievement. This study employed a quantitative method using numerical data to measure the influence of Loving-Kindness Meditation and self-confidence on learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, documentation, and limited observation. The questionnaires were distributed to 100 Buddhist students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung as research respondents, who were selected using purposive sampling. Documentation was used to obtain supporting data related to students’ learning outcomes, while limited observation was conducted to examine the initial learning conditions and students’ behavior during the learning process. All data were then objectively analyzed using SmartPLS through the statistical technique of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to assess the relationships between variables, including the simultaneous effect of Loving-Kindness Meditation and self-confidence on students’ learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that Loving-Kindness Meditation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes (Y), and self-confidence (X2) also has a positive and significant influence. Furthermore, simultaneous analysis shows that both variables together significantly affect students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, these two variables play an important role in enhancing the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the level of students' interest in learning English at a public primary school in Ngabang in the academic year 2025/2026. This research employed a quantitative descriptive survey design. The population of this study consisted of sixth-grade students. The sample was selected using a total sampling technique, involving all students as participants. The instrument used in this study was a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 14 items. After conducting a pilot test, two items were found to be invalid and excluded. This resulted in 12 valid items used in the main data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean scores and percentages. The findings showed that the overall mean score of students' interest was 3.44, which was categorized as "Very High". Based on the two measured aspects, namely knowledge of English and need for English, the results indicated that students possessed adequate basic knowledge and strong curiosity toward learning English. However, their exposure to the language outside the classroom was relatively limited. Furthermore, students demonstrated a high perception of the importance of English for their future, including education, communication, and career opportunities. In conclusion, students at a public primary school in Ngabang exhibited a very high level of interest in learning English. This finding suggests that students are psychologically ready to learn English despite limited(Schiefele, 1991) external exposure. Therefore, English teachers and school administrators should provide more interactive learning activities and increase exposure to support the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the eschatological pitch movements in Misyārī Rāsyid al-‘Afāsī’s recitation of Sūrat Al-Qiyāmah and to interpret their semantic-pragmatic meanings through al-‘Ani’s pitch-level framework. Using a descriptive qualitative phonemic approach, this study examines twenty-nine eschatological verses selected from Sūrat Al-Qiyāmah based on classical exegetical boundaries. The primary data were obtained from al-‘Afāsī’s murattal audio recitation, while the semantic baseline was established through six authoritative tafsir works. Data were collected through repeated listening, note-taking, pitch-pattern classification, and digital pitch-contour visualization. The analysis applied Nasution’s five-category pitch typology and al-‘Ani’s four-level pitch notation. The findings show that falling pitch dominates the corpus, appearing in 41.4% of the verses, followed by falling-rising pitch at 31.0%, rising-falling pitch at 17.2%, rising pitch at 6.9%, and flat pitch at 3.4%. The application of al-‘Ani’s framework indicates that 37.9% of the data show semantic-pragmatic congruence, 13.8% show incongruence, and 48.3% remain undetermined due to the complexity of Qur’anic illocutionary functions. The most significant finding appears in Q. 75:40, where an interrogative construction is recited with falling pitch to encode absolute theological affirmation. This study proposes the concept of phonemic hermeneutics, namely the interpretive function of pitch in Qur’anic recitation. The findings contribute to Arabic prosody, Qur’anic phonology, and taḥsīn pedagogy by showing that intonation is not merely vocal ornamentation, but a semantic-pragmatic device that supports meaning-conscious recitation.

Abstract

This study analyzes public sentiment in YouTube comments on felt-earthquake news in Indonesia and compares a bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory implementation (LSTM) with IndoBERT. An experimental quantitative design was used. Comments were collected through the YouTube Data API v3 using official earthquake-event references from the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) and keyword-based video searches covering January 2021 to August 2025. The acquisition stage produced 51,870 comments from 1,626 unique videos. Data were processed through duplicate removal, text cleaning, case folding, slang normalization, tokenization, and stopword removal, resulting in 49,041 clean comments. Positive, negative, and neutral labels were assigned by aggregating word-polarity scores from the Indonesian Sentiment Lexicon (InSet), which served as weak supervision. Stratified sampling divided the dataset into 80% training data and 20% testing data. The LSTM model used a 100-dimensional embedding, a 64-unit bidirectional LSTM layer, global max pooling, and early stopping; IndoBERT was fine-tuned from indobenchmark/indobert-base-p2 for four epochs. Performance was assessed with accuracy, macro precision, macro recall, macro F1-score, and confusion matrices. Positive sentiment accounted for 41.2% of the corpus, negative sentiment for 35.5%, and neutral sentiment for 23.2%. IndoBERT achieved 91.50% accuracy and a 91.03% macro F1-score, outperforming LSTM at 90.91% accuracy and a 90.34% macro F1-score. IndoBERT provided the strongest contextual classification, while LSTM remained a competitive and substantially lighter option for resource-constrained monitoring
