Discourse on gender in Indonesia often refers to figures from America, Europe and Arabia, so that there are still Eurocentric or arabisentric cases. An archipelago figure in the pre-independence era, Shaykh Ibn Umar al-Jawi al-Bantani, had composed a book that reviews the rights and obligations of a husband and wife. However, instead of getting appreciation, this book actually gets a lot of criticism because of the many narratives that still discredit women, ranging from books that make men big heads to accusations as a book that is the source of domestic violence. By using the five-angle approach study Amin Abdullah the author wants to express the big idea in the form of a gender equality narrative carried by Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani. This paper provides a conclusion in the form of gender equality carried by Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani contained in the rights obtained by the wife from her husband and vice versa. By carrying out the association with ma'ruf Shaykh Nawawi gives an idea of ​​how the association of husband and wife in the household.

This research represents curriculum at International Standard School. This research is interesting to be carried out because the curriculum in International Standard School is still survived and it is widely adopted by many educational institutions. This research is written by studying many documentation resources being described in books, journals, and so on. First, the researcher describes the substance of International Standard School and then the curriculum that is implemented in the International Standard Schools. The description shows that the curriculum in International Standard School has big role in educating students. The research finally shows that curriculum is one of important factor to attain success as well as a certain educational failure.

In sociolinguistics field, one of the most popular language contact phenomena is the phenomena of Code-Switching. Code-switching is a kind of sociolinguistics phenomenon occurs when two or more languages exist in a conversation. A sociolinguist says that Code-Switching, that is switching back and forwarding between languages, even during the same utterances. This research conducts a sociolinguistics research especially in Code-Switching Phenomena to answer the following questions: What kind of Code-Switching in terms of utterance unit (words, phrases and clauses) used by the students in the eighth semester of Sociolinguistics Class at English Department STAIN Kediri? Why do the students use “Code-Switching†in Communication? The researcher chooses this method is based on some characteristics of descriptive qualitative research methods that are appropriate for this research. The subject of the research is the students in the eight semester especially the students who join Sociolinguistics Class at English Department STAIN Kediri. They have to speak English in learning process. It can not be seen only from the case speaking but also how to speak English well and correctly.

Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat strategis dalam membangun sebuah peradaban, khususnya peradaban yang islami.Sumber ajaran dalam islam yaitu Al-Quran dan hadis, tidak saja mengandung doktrin-doktrin teologis tentang keimanan kepada Allah swt. tetapi juga berisikan tentang hal-hal terkait dengan isyarat ilmiah tentang pendidikan. Berbicara tentang konsep dasar pendidikan perfektif islam,tentunya harus merujuk kepada informasi dalam Al-quran dan hadis. Tarbiyah memiliki makna yaitu proses pengembangan dan bimbingan, meliputi jasad, akal dan jiwa, yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan, dengan tujuan akhir si anak didiktumbuh dewasa dan hidup mandiri ditengah masyarakat, menyempurn akan fitrah kemanusiaan tanpabatas sesuai dengan syariat Allah SWT.

Boarding schools as one of the Islamic education institutions in Indonesia have actually had the opportunity to create quality human resources with a record of boarding schools are able to adapt to globalization that is happening by without leaving the character of his order. Among the components of the staple in a pesantren is; (1) Huts (dorm dormitories), (2) Mosques, (3) students, (4) Teaching classical books/Yellow books, (5) Kiai and Ustadz (6) Madrasah/School and (7) system of values (SALAF/Traditional-khalaf/modern) as the spirit of every pesantren. In certain pesantren there is also in the Madrasah or school with all the completeness (combination). Curriculum education Pesantren is the materials of Islamic religious education in the form of pesantren activities, knowledge and experiences that are intentionally and systematically given to students in order to achieve the objectives of Islamic religious education. The education curriculum is a tool to achieve the objectives of Islamic religious education. The scope of education material is: Qur'an and Hadith, faith, morality, FIQH/worship and history, in other words, the scope of education on the trend of harmony, harmony and balance of human relations with God, Self, fellow man, other creatures and the environment.

Education in Indonesia at the moment seems to be oriented towards cognitive intelligence alone. So many problems arise character degradation. This is because education in Indonesia is still lacking in developing student’s emotional intelligence. Recognizing this reality, there needs to be concrete and sustainable solutions. In this case the religious culture of schools can be used as a tool to realize the character building of students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the form of school religious culture, and analyze the contribution of school religious culture to students' emotional intelligence. This research is a type of qualitative research. The results showed that the form of school religious culture at MAN 4 Jombang consisted of 3 implementations namely a) daily activities such as prayer before and after the lesson. b) weekly activities consisting of istighosah, khitobah, and social funding programs. c) annual activities carried out to commemorate Islamic holidays (PHBI) consisting of isra’ mi'raj, Eid al-Adha commemoration, and national santri day. While the contribution of the schools religious culture as an effort to shape students emotional intelligence consists of a) istighosah can shape managing emotions, b) the khitobah can shape students' self-motivation, c) social fundraising can shape student empathy, d) PHBI can form fostering relationships, and e ) overall religious cultural activities are able to bring out the student’s self-awareness. It cannot be denied that religion and science are two things that increasingly play an important role in human life. The development of science in the modern world does not mean a decline in the influence of religion in human life, as has been predicted in the secularization theory. The tendency of the strengthening of religion and science to attract the attention of many people, especially with regard to the relationship between the two. The number of religious views and doctrines that seem to contradict modern science theory allows the 'conflict' between religion and science. The case of the church's execution of Galileo in the 19th century and the long debate between proponents of the theory of evolution and creation theory became clear evidence of how mutually affirming conflicts have colored the relationship between religion and science. To avoid conflicts between religion and science, many people have tried to find the most suitable relationship model. In recent developments there has been a "new stream" of talk about religion and science. The effort of this meeting did not stop at the level of discourse but was followed up at the implementation level. The proliferation of integrative-interconnection offers in various science and religion studies at Islamic Higher Education is clear evidence of this "matchmaking" of science and religion
