Abstract

This research aimed to determine the classic investment factors for insurance participants on unit link Sharia in the Yogyakarta area. This research type used mixed method research (the quantitative and qualitative research). Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires, while the qualitative stage of data was obtained by interview, observation, and also documentation. The research results showed that classical investment factors could influence the participants' decision to invest in sharia unit link insurance. The effect is 3.0, i.e. participants stated "agree". The important aspect of consideration for participants was the image aspect of the insurance company that they currently participated in. The item that the participants considered was the company's reputation item. The lowest value aspect was the neutral Information aspect, while the lowest value item was the inflation consideration item.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the strategy of inculcating Islamic character in students in dormitory of SMK (Vocational High School) Ma'arif 5 Gombong, what character values were there, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning process there. This research was qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was done by using the triangulation method. The study results stated that the strategy of planting Islamic students in dormitory of SMK Ma'arif 5 Gombong was exemplary, disciplined, habituation. While the values of Islamic character were pious, grateful, polite, polite, honest, disciplined, and respecting time. The supporting factors for this strategy were the high level of conditioning, the presence of CCTV, good management, while the inhibiting factor was the diverse input of students and not all students had the intention to study religion.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menafsirkan kembali pandangan Islam tentang masalah poligami. Poligami adalah istilah yang dipakai untuk menunjukkan seorang suami yang menikah dengan lebih dari satu istri, baik menikah dengan dua istri, tiga istri, sepuluh istri dan seterusnya hingga tak terbatas. Islam mengatur hubungan laki-laki dan perempuan bisa mendapat dan menuntut hak-haknya. Islam selalu mengajar kita untuk memperlakukan perempuan dengan lembut dan kasih sayang.

Abstract

This article discusses the value of religious moderation in Abul Kalam Azad in QS. al-Fatihah. The value of moderation is implied in the lafadz al-hamd which describes the nature of divinity in growing humanity. The problem formulation of this article is how is Abul Kalam Azad's interpretation related to QS. al-Fatihah? And how is the contextualization of this interpretation if it is applied in the realm of Indonesia? This article is a literature study using the analytical-descriptive method of data related to the study theme. The findings from this article are that the main religious concept of Abul Kalam Azad in QS. al-Fatihah which consists of Mahmud, Alhamd, Rab al- ‘alamin, Malikiyaum al-din, sirat al- Mustaqim there is a value of religious moderation that fosters tolerance of religious harmony implied in the lafadz al-hamd. This article confirms the interpretation of al-hamd as the concept of humanizing humans which is contextualized in the realm of Indonesia. Thus, it is very relevant to grow an interpretation based on the value of religious moderation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Prophet's social life in inter-religious interaction can be seen in the text of the Prophet's hadith, it can be explained that inter-religious dialogue existed at the time of the Prophet. In his social life, the Prophet has practiced religious tolerance with non-Muslims. Interfaith relations at the time of the Prophet were carried out openly and in dialogue. In the hadith of the Prophet there is no interfaith life that can disrupt interfaith relations, except in a state of war caused by interference from non-Muslim parties who attack the Prophet. In the hadiths of the Prophet found several traditions that describe the harmonization and harmony between religious believers between the Prophet and non-Muslims. The existence of the Prophet and non-Muslims having good relations, it shows that the Prophet can protect all parties of different faiths, even though the practice of da'wah or prophetic missions continues to run well, so that between prophetic missions and dialogical life with non-Muslims there is always harmony and remains in harmony.

Abstract

Political polemics were always hot among politicians, academics and others. It was not uncommon to become a national discussion to achieve common good. Listening to politics, the monumental figure of the Islamic Philosopher, al-Farabi, was one of the most famous figures to be studied in depth, especially in terms of his thoughts in the book `Ara Ahl al Madinah. The purpose of this study was to explore al-Farabi's thoughts about politics as the goal of happiness, that a country would be ideal if its leaders and people were like a complete body. In order for all its organs to work together well, it would also give birth to a good country. The method used was descriptive qualitative research. This study described al-Farabi's thoughts in the political field. The author tried to take the red thread from al-Farabi's political thoughts as the ecstasy of happiness, especially for human life universally.

Abstract

Book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi (The Land of Meat: A Collection of Poetry) by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri was a collection of poetry that presented religious nationalist values. This book had educational values that could serve as a guide in the formation of the religious-nationalist character of society in the current era. This study was a type of qualitative research, which emphasized the use of theory from an analytical-descriptive way of thinking. Collecting data in this study was using data collection methods related to research, such as books, journals related to research, and others. Data analysis in this study used literary content analysis techniques, because the object studied was poetry which was part of a literary work. Research Results on educational values of religious nationalism in Book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri succeeded in explaining several points, namely: (a) grouping poetry which had values of maintaining honor, maintaining unity, mutual help, tolerance, independence, good character, values of justice and equal treatment, fulfilling promises, compassion and preventing damage. (b) a more detailed explanation of the relevance of the educational values of religious nationalism in book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri on material, media, and current educational goals, especially in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study describes Farid Esack's thought in Al-Quran Hermeneutics. Farid Esack is an initiator of liberative praxis Hermeneutics who always tries to position the Qur'an in a pattern of partiality that is concrete and nuanced in praxis. So that the Qur'an is used as a guide in human life, but there are many thinkers from both the West and the East. A thinker or scientist from Islam, namely Farid Esack, Farid Esack is an Islamic scholar of black African descent, who discusses the Hermeneutics of the Qur'an. In this study hermeneutics as a tool to understand the Qur'an in various aspects. This research is included in the literature review cluster, which takes data from various literatures and references that make the centre of the study focus on Farid Esack's thoughts. Farid Esack explained about African pluralism and how to position the Qur'an in life. Farid Esack offers an idea in understanding the Hermeneutics of the Qur'an with the keys to understanding it with the previous initiators. In the Indonesian context, Farid Esack views that injustice when the Qur'an relates the doctrine to it is carried out in a real socio-historical context and believes that sincere belief in the oneness of God and final accountability to Him, describes the figure of infidel, and the Koran denounces kufr as hostile behaviour towards Islam and Muslims, and the Koran is also specific about the kuffar's motives for refusing to hold certain beliefs.

Abstract

The gender gap in education was mostly caused by gender socialization in schools and the presence of a hidden gender bias curriculum. One of the indicators that could be noticed was when male and female students sometimes received different education. Therefore, the researcher aimed to analyze what were the values of gender education in the book Perempuan, Islam, dan Negara (Women, Islam and the State) by K.H Husein Muhammad and how the relevance of the book was to gender education in the contemporary era. This type of study was library research with a philosophical approach. The results of the study showed that the values of gender education in the book Perempuan, Islam, dan Negara included: the equality of women and men before Allah Swt, the existence of rights and opportunities for women and men in education, the existence of equal rights and obligations for women and men in work, there was equal status for women and men in the eyes of the law. Its relevance in the current era included: gender education was able to provide equal justice and equality within the scope of schools and society, gender education could be realized equally to all elements of society, gender education seeked to improve the quality of students towards gender development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the development of 3-dimensional (3D) media in the form of wayang mouse deer and crocodiles in Indonesian language learning, namely fable stories at the SD/MI level with several principles of analysis, namely advantages, disadvantages and aspects that were highlighted. This research method used a qualitative approach. The results showed that the development of 3D media types of wayang kancil and crocodile models in learning Indonesian SD/MI had gone well according to the steps which consisted of the introduction, core, and closing sections. While the advantages include a) substituting real objects, thereby providing direct experience, b) presenting material concretely and avoiding verbalism, and c) clear flow. Finally, the activities highlighted in this study were aspects of attitude and communication.
