Abstract

the dynamic development of the business environment and the increasing demand for transparency require companies to build a corporate image that is not only positive but also sustainable. in this context, the role of the corporate secretary has become increasingly strategic, as it is responsible for managing corporate communication with various stakeholders. this study aims to analyze the communication strategies of the corporate secretary in building a sustainable corporate image and to understand how these communication practices are implemented based on the principles of two-way symmetrical communication and public relations communication strategies. this research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants directly involved in the company’s communication activities, supported by document analysis. the data analysis techniques used include thematic analysis and content analysis to identify patterns, themes, and meanings emerging from the research data. data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. the findings indicate that the corporate secretary applies two-way symmetrical communication through open organizational and public communication relationships, continuous dialogue, and the ability to negotiate and balance interests with stakeholders. in addition, public relations communication strategies are implemented systematically through the stages of fact-finding, planning, communication, and evaluation. these consistent and participatory communication practices contribute to building public trust and strengthening a sustainable corporate image. the conclusion of this study confirms that the communication strategies of the corporate secretary play a significant role in shaping a sustainable corporate image. the integration of two-way symmetrical communication and well-planned public relations strategies enables the establishment of harmonious long-term relationships between the company and its stakeholders. this research is expected to contribute theoretically to the field of corporate communication studies and serve as a practical reference for companies in developing sustainability-oriented communication strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the marketing communication strategies of religious tourism based on Islamic marketing principles and their contribution to increasing the income of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sunan Pojok Tomb area in Blora. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews with MSME actors and tourism managers, and documentation related to tourism activities and local economic practices in the surrounding area. The findings indicate that the marketing communication strategies of religious tourism are implemented through word-of-mouth promotion, the use of social media, the organization of religious events, and the provision of friendly and ethical services to visitors. These strategies reflect the application of Islamic marketing values, including honesty (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amanah), good service (khidmah), and a spirit of social solidarity (ukhuwah). The implementation of these strategies contributes to an increase in tourist visits, which in turn expands the consumer base, encourages product diversification, and improves the income of MSMEs operating around the Sunan Pojok religious tourism area in Blora.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang ditandai dengan gangguan pertumbuhan pada anak akibat kekurangan asupan gizi dalam waktu lama serta infeksi berulang. Salah satu intervensi penting untuk mencegah masalah gizi pada balita adalah pemberian kapsul vitamin A. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang stunting dengan kelengkapan pemberian kapsul vitamin A pada balita di Desa Bringsang Kecamatan Giligenting Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki balita usia 12–59 bulan di Desa Bringsang dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 57 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang stunting serta dokumentasi dari buku KIA untuk mengetahui kelengkapan pemberian kapsul vitamin A. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ibu memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tentang stunting yang tergolong kurang sebanyak 50 responden (87,7%), serta sebagian besar balita tidak memperoleh kapsul vitamin A secara lengkap yaitu 48 responden (84,2%). Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai α < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak, yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang stunting dengan kelengkapan pemberian kapsul vitamin A pada balita di Desa Bringsang, Kecamatan Giligenting.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education and Character (PAIBP) at SMKN 2 Blora. Therefore, an appropriate learning method is needed to encourage student participation and develop critical thinking skills, one of which is the brainstorming method. This study aims to describe the implementation of the brainstorming method in PAIBP learning, examine the development of students’ critical thinking skills after the implementation of the method, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the brainstorming method was carried out through several stages, namely providing problem stimuli, collecting ideas freely, grouping and clarifying ideas, and drawing conclusions together. The application of this method was able to increase students’ active participation and encourage the development of critical thinking skills in PAIBP learning. Supporting factors include teacher readiness, students’ enthusiasm, and a conducive classroom atmosphere, while the inhibiting factors include limited learning time and differences in students’ self-confidence levels.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of learning media in the topic of fiqh of funeral rites at SMA 1 Ngawen and its impact on students’ understanding in Islamic Religious Education learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SMA 1 Ngawen. Data were collected through observation, interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students, and documentation of the learning process. The collected data were then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the use of learning media such as videos demonstrating funeral management practices, teaching aids, and visual presentations can help students understand the material on the fiqh of funeral rites more clearly and practically. These media make the learning process more engaging, interactive, and easier for students to understand. In addition, the implementation of learning media also increases student participation in learning activities, especially during simulation practices of funeral management. Therefore, the appropriate use of learning media in teaching the fiqh of funeral rites can improve learning effectiveness and help students understand the proper procedures for managing a deceased person according to Islamic teachings. The implication of this study indicates that the use of learning media can enhance the effectiveness of learning the fiqh of funeral rites and help students understand the material more easily.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the important role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students’ independent learning in schools. Independent learning is an important aspect that students must possess in order to take responsibility for their own learning process. In this context, the authority and discipline of teachers are factors that can influence the development of students’ learning independence. This study aims to describe the role of the authority and discipline of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students’ independent learning at SMK Negeri 1 Blora, to examine the development of students’ learning independence, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers and several students at SMK Negeri 1 Blora. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the authority and discipline of Islamic Religious Education teachers play an important role in fostering students’ independent learning. Teacher authority is reflected in firmness, exemplary behavior, and the ability to manage the classroom effectively. Meanwhile, teacher discipline is reflected in consistency in carrying out responsibilities, such as punctuality, preparation of learning materials, and consistent implementation of classroom rules. These attitudes positively influence the development of students’ independent learning, including increased responsibility in completing assignments, active participation in learning, and the ability to learn independently. Supporting factors include teacher role modeling, students’ learning motivation, and a conducive classroom environment. The inhibiting factors include differences in students’ characteristics and varying levels of self-confidence.

Abstract

MA Al Mahrusiyah has a yellow book subject. The local content of the yellow book subject was chosen by MA Al Mahrusiyah because this school is based on an Islamic boarding school and is also a local content of this school. This makes the researcher want to know more about the application of the yellow book subject applied in the scope of formal institutions, as well as providing a research problem formulation here, namely, how does the Syawir method affect the ability to read and write yellow books at MA Al Mahrusiyah Lirboyo, Kediri City. Here the author focuses the research by implementing the Syawir method which is a classic method in Islamic boarding schools by applying it in formal institutions, aiming to find out whether there is a very significant difference in students' reading and writing abilities in learning. The author uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. The research data sources consist of yellow book subject teachers, class X students, and learning documents. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, data analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of the syawir method goes through several stages, namely starting with the teacher reading the yellow book text and explaining it, students writing what the teacher explained, then the teacher sees the students' responses in implementing this syawir method, and the obstacles found by the teacher in implementing the syawir method. The research here is presented starting from the background of the research object, its components, a glimpse of the state of MA Al Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Kediri, and explains how the process of classroom learning is applied by the teacher to his students. Which affects the understanding of the yellow book subject which is a local content in this school

Abstract

Teacher skills are essential in the learning process to prevent student boredom. To create effective and enjoyable high-quality learning, it is necessary to apply basic teaching skills. The instructional process will align with established goals if a teacher possesses a dynamic spirit, accountability, and discipline in facing various classroom challenges. This study aims to: 1) identify efforts to improve teachers' pedagogical competence regarding creativity in the teaching and learning process at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin; and 2) identify teachers' social efforts in developing communication expertise during the teaching and learning process at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The research was conducted at Madrasah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, located within the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Lirboyo, Kediri, East Java. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested using the triangulation method. The results indicate that: 1) Teachers develop their creativity by implementing learning methods suited to student conditions, utilizing media to support the learning process, and sharing experiences with fellow teachers across various subjects. 2) At Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, efforts have been made to establish open communication between teachers and students to identify obstacles and provide the best solutions. This approach helps students focus on the material presented, thereby improving the quality of learning. Based on the overall analysis, it can be concluded that there are ongoing efforts to enhance the pedagogical and social competencies of teachers at Madrasah Diniyah Ihya’ Ulumuddin, as evidenced by initiatives to improve creativity and communication skills. Consequently, it is expected that teacher professionalism will also increase

Abstract

Humans are creatures created perfectly by Allah SWT compared to other creatures because they have the special ability of reason to think, which can be used to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong so that they can live life more carefully and as best as possible. Certainly, possessing reason is not meant for humans to always feel capable of understanding themselves or even selfishly live life just for themselves, so humans as social creatures are required to help each other in goodness, such as in the context of self-improvement. Helping each other in goodness has been regulated by Islam as an important counseling guidance process for the life of the technologically advanced generation today. The technology generation or internet generation, commonly referred to as Generation Z, has prominent characteristics that can have both positive and negative values, making guidance in the aspect of spirituality very necessary, which in this context is in Islamic counseling guidance. This research needs to be carried out to reveal the urgency of Islamic counseling guidance in facing the characteristic challenges of Generation Z, and it was found that the characteristics of Generation Z are very important to be directed through the principles of Islamic counseling guidance because they align with the needs of Generation Z as the next generation of the nation, thus achieving the human goal of obtaining happiness in this world and the hereafter.

Abstract

The unilateral cancellation of marriage plans has increasingly raised legal concerns, particularly regarding the absence of a clear legal basis for liability in Indonesian positive law during the pre-marital phase. This study aims to examine the legal qualification of such unilateral cancellation as a breach of contract through the interpretation of the principle of good faith in the pre-contractual phase. The research employs a normative legal method with prescriptive and applied characteristics, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches. Legal materials consist of primary and secondary sources analyzed through deductive reasoning using a syllogistic method. The findings reveal that although marriage plans do not constitute a legally binding contract, the existence of serious commitments and preparatory actions, including public announcements, creates a legitimate expectation that obliges the parties to act in good faith. The unilateral withdrawal from such arrangements may therefore be interpreted as a violation of pre-contractual good faith, giving rise to legal liability. From a modern contract law perspective, this conduct can be qualified as a form of breach of obligation within the framework of culpa in contrahendo, even in the absence of a formally concluded agreement. The study concludes that the application of the principle of good faith in the pre-contractual phase provides a more comprehensive legal basis for protecting the injured party and offers an alternative framework beyond traditional tort-based approaches.
