Abstract

Rogers is one of humanism figure who views human as a tough and creative individual to develop himself. His educational background really influence the way he thought and his theory. His most famous theory was client centered. In the theory, a client is considered as a honored and possessed super power within his body. Therapist in this theory is seen like a real friendwho is tryingto position him and his client without distance nor boundaries. This is intended so that the client is willing to communicate his main problems freely. The goal is to discover his client potential talent owned. This theory will be effectively applied in educational field recently. Within this, students are expected to grow and develop according to their interest and talents, without any outside force. The expected outcome is that the students will become golden individual who have more humanity and creative as well.

Abstract

This paper is a literature study that examines the design of learning evaluation based on student centered learning (SCL) in PAI learning. Evaluations that have been used in learning in schools are traditional in nature, tending to assess cognitive aspects, and still affective and psychomotor aspects. Evaluation should be able to assess all aspects, namely attitudes, skills, and knowledge. In student centered learning (SCL) based learning, the assessment method proposed and deemed appropriate is the Performance Assessment (authentic assessment or performance assessment). Through this authentic assessment the teacher can find out the extent of students' understanding and abilities. With authentic assessment students learn how to apply knowledge and skills to the real world.

Abstract

Parents’ parenting is one of the important variables that can affect the development of all potential learners including social development. The importance of parents’ parenting in the process of social development of children will be described in this paper. The paper is presented in the form of narrative descriptive analysis by presenting expert opinions and research results related to parenting patterns and social development of children, which aims to provide a clear understanding related to parenting patterns and the development of social skills of children so that it can inspiring educators and parents to choose and apply proper parenting in the educational process.

Abstract

This article discusses the sustainability of pesantren in Indonesia, especially in the 19th century and the 20th century . In the century, the pesantren was instrumental in educating the children of the nation, became the center of civilization Indonesia even become the biggest supplier in guarding the struggle against colonialism struggle, safeguard and defend freedom of Indonesia. The major role as faded in the era of the 21st century, where schools are more focused on religious education . Some schools try to maintain the existence and role by accepting changes to the education system or the management pesantrennya that survive today, such as the opening of school education as madrassah, or boarding schooland college or university, par example as done by many pesantren in East Java, Central Java and Yogyakarta and other areas in Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe the development of an Islamic education curriculum that integrates the objectives of Islamic education with the development of science and technology. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive approach. The rapid development of science and technology requires schools as educational institutions to prepare graduates according to their needs, by developing an educational curriculum that is following technological and scientific developments such as curriculum principles regarding relevance or suitability. In the application of the Islamic education curriculum after the 2003 National Education System Law, the integration of Islamic and science and technology values ​​can be done at the beginning of the formulation of institutional goals, curriculum objectives, and learning objectives that demonstrate the mission of integration between Islam and science and technology. These objectives will become the basis for teachers as curriculum designers to plan materials, methods, media, and evaluations that are consistent with these objectives. This is following the objectives of Islamic education which ideally functions to foster and prepare students who are knowledgeable, technologically, highly skilled, and at the same time have faith and do good deeds. Keywords: curriculum development, Islamic education, science and technology Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islamyang mengintegrasikan tujuan pendidikan Islam dengan perkembangan zaman khusunya perkembangan iptek. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatandeskriptif kualitatif. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat cepat menuntut sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan untuk menyiapkan lulusan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, dengancara mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan seperti prinsip kurikulum tentang relevansi atau kesesuaian. Dalam penerapan kurikulum pendidikan Islampasca UU sisdiknas 2003, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dan iptek dapat dilakukaan saat awal perancangan tujuan instusional hingga penerapannya pada kurikulumnya memperlihatkan adanyapengembanganyang menggabungkan nilai-nilai Islam dan kemajuan iptek. Perancangan tersebutmenjadi landasan pendidik dalammerencanakan tujuan pembelajaran, materi maupun metode, serta evaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Islamyaitu membangun karakter peserta didik yang berlandaskan iman dan taqwa serta memiliki keterampilan tingkat tinggi dalam bidang pengetahuan dan teknologi. Abstract

The purpose of this study was first, to determine the role of teachers in improving student motivation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Kediwung. Second, to find out the role of parents in increasing children's learning motivation in Kediwung. This research is a qualitative research by emphasizing the inductive approach in data processing. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers, parents of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Kediwung. The technique of taking informants was taken with a sampling mechanism, through the snow ball sampling method (snowball technique) consisting of 1 principal, 9 teachers and 55 parents of students. The data needed is extracted using interview and observation techniques. The data that has been collected is tested for its validity by using triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis using Miles and Huberman's interactive data namely Reduction data, Display data and Condution drawing / Verivication. The results showed that teachers play a role in increasing student motivation in the form of: (a) as a motivator / supporter, (b) creating a field that is conducive to learning, (c) being sympathetic to students, (d) creating healthy competition, (e) giving praise, (f) knowing the results, (g) attracting interest, (h) giving a gift. The role of parents in increasing their children's learning motivation at home is in the form of, (a) providing support, (b) telling, (c) creating a conducive home and (d) giving gifts.

Abstract

Principals and teachers are the most important actors in school. Teacher pedagogical competence is very important to develop teacher professionalism. And also, principal performance has a substantial impact on teacher pedagogical competence. This can be seen in how the principal handles interpersonal conflicts. The objectives of this paper is to describe and find out the link between a teacher's pedagogical and interpersonal conflict management of principals. The result of this study is the way the principal handles conflicts that occur in schools can increase harmony between school members, especially teachers. A harmonious relationship between teachers will be created by the principal who can handle conflict in their school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of PowerPoint learning media, the obstacles faced by teachers and the solutions taken, as well as the learning outcomes of fifth-graders at SD Glingangan III, Pacitan Regency in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and method. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education teachers at SDN Glingangan III, Pacitan Regency have tried to implement innovations in choosing to learn media. One of them is technology-based learning media using PowerPoint media. Powerpoint media is not only limited to displaying material in the form of text or copy material in student books, but can also be developed in the form of illustrated stories (derivatives of the nursing literacy-based curriculum), animations, and also short videos. Powerpoint media has relevance to the developmental stage of students who are at the concrete operational level. The obstacles faced by teachers in applying power point media (technical constraints and packaging materials) can basically be overcome by self-development, namely through training and continuous learning. Student learning outcomes using PowerPoint media are able to achieve classical completeness up to 78% with an average of 87. With this media, students are enthusiastic and active in learning, by listening, asking, and answering questions from the teacher.

Abstract

Learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, a learning method that integrates the experiences and interests of students, learning activities will be very effective if adjusted to the knowledge and experience that has been experienced. So the concept of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning relates learning materials to the daily life of students or the environment. As such, the theory of constructivism is the basic principle of the theory put forward by Vygotsky, in that theory he says that the cognitive development of early childhood is strongly influenced by the environment around them. Without social influence, children cannot develop their cognitive abilities. Islam itself explains that humans have the nature to be perfect beings in the sense of being physically, spiritually and intellectually perfect, in essence being created to be human beings, namely creatures who are not only physically perfect but exist. also spiritual and intellectual elements, but Islam provides an exception for this superior potential, the development process is strongly influenced by the environment. The application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with Islamic values ​​education to shape the character of early childhood in BA Aisyah, Pacitan Regency is concluded in accordance with the concept of contextual teaching learning, namely learning that emphasizes students to be fully involved in connecting with real life from the material studied with the main principles of learning and doing.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a disaster-prone area. In 2022, BNPB recorded 3,494 disasters in Indonesia. Dominated by natural disasters, followed by extreme weather and landslides. Natural disasters are events that cannot be predicted when and where they will occur, one of which is an eruption. The eruption is a natural disaster that threatens many regions in Indonesia, especially in East Java. Many problems have occurred as a result of volcanic eruptions both materially and non-materially. This study aims to determine the form of humanism applied by the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) team to the victims of the eruption that occurred in Pronojiwo, Lumajang. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis method. The analysis in this study used the theory of humanism. The results of the study show that MDMC's actions apply humanistic theory to post-disaster survivors' post-learning social activities, direct inductive thinking, focus on practice, and emphasize the importance of survivor participation in learning. MDMC also implements humanism in Islam which is built based on pure humanity taught by the holy book Qur'an; humanize humans.
