Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics, types of disorders, factors that cause disturbances, methods that can be used to help control emotions in children with special needs, and types of educational services that are appropriate for children with special needs with emotional and behavioral disorders. The background of this research is that there are many incidents that occur in schools, it is certain that there are some children who have disabilities or children with special needs. There have been many incidents where children with special needs receive less attention and are discriminated against normal (discriminatory) students in order to obtain a proper education. The method used was data collection from children with special needs where the research was conducted coupled with competent literature references with descriptive nature. From this research, the data obtained were analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner, so that qualitative descriptive variations could be seen. So that children with special needs with emotional and behavioral disorders can accurately find out the characteristics which consist of learning achievement, intelligence, social, immature emotions, withdrawal behavior and service models. Education which includes segressive, integrated, inclusive education services

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal students in achieving learning achievements that can be seen through the results of daily tests, Mid Test, and Final Test Semester, besides that there are problems in learning achievement which include a negative understanding of themselves, so that these students are not sure of their potential. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and ISMUBA learning achievement of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo. This research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection uses useful documentation to obtain report card data for class XI and XII of the first and second semesters and the scale used is the Emotional Intelligence Scale. This study used product moment analysis techniques using the help of IBM 27 for Windows. The results of the product moment analysis showed a significant result of 0.001 (p < 0.01) meaning that there was a very significant relationship between emotional intelligence and ismuba learning achievement of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo. So it can be interpreted that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this investigation is to establish whether or not elementary school pupils' levels of intrinsic motivation to learn are correlated with their academic performance. Study participants were treated as if they were samples from a larger quantitative study. This study used a basic random sampling technique to select a sample of 20 participants from a total population of 63. Using a questionnaire to gather information. SPSS 16.0 is used to perform statistical analyses on the data, including mean correlations and calculation of averages. Descriptive quantitative analysis employing Pearson correlation and Cronbach's alpha is employed. results from a questionnaire validity check showing that every statement item passes muster because rcount > rtable. The high value of 0.933 obtained from the Cronbach's alpha test indicates the reliability of the instrument. That's why it's important for teachers to instill in their elementary school kids a love of studying and a hunger for knowledge. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the educator to inspire their pupils to develop an intrinsic motivation to learn English, which will lead to greater levels of engagement and productivity on their part as they work toward mastery of the language.

Abstract

The objective discussion in this article is to analyse role of student activeness in Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities in anticipation of the dangers of radicalism at SMK Negeri 1 of Bantul, Yogyakarta. The practical benefit of this study is: to provide materials or guidelines for teachers or students in carrying out Islamic Spiritual extracurricular activities and a guide for teachers to be able to anticipate the dangers of radicalism within the school environment. This research is qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity was tested using triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis method used Miles and Huberman Model, including data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Results of this study showed that student activeness in Islamic spiritual extracurricular activities by role model or good example, providing motivation and spreading greetings. Activeness was performed through cognitive roles, including the provision of knowledge about nationalism and knowledge about inclusive Islam. The affective role was in the form of fostering the responsibility, discipline, social care, environmental care, tolerance, and brotherhood attitudes. Furthermore, the psychomotor role was in the form of teaching students to have creativity, team building and skills.

Abstract

This research conducted further research on services for children with special needs at MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Schools for Inclusive Education (SPPI), Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. This research is phenomenological research using qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study were school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, and special supervising teachers who participated in serving children with special needs. Data validity in this research using source triangulation and technique triangulation. While data analysis used qualitative methods, there are data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results show that ABK services special program use the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and modify/develop special curricula for students with special needs. The facilities and infrastructure are different from ordinary schools, usually, there is a road connection for students with special needs, a special room to help children with special needs, tools for therapy, and computers. games specially designed for students with special needs. The special companion teachers of MI Muhammadiyah Kartasura are by the tasks they will carry out. Trainers with degrees in Psychology, Special Education, and teachers who have attended training courses for inclusive education. MI Muhammadiyah Kartasura District also develops life skills and extracurricular activities

Abstract

Gender equality means equality between men and women in terms of access to opportunities and rights as human beings, to be able to function and participate in political, legal, economic, socio-cultural, educational, and defense and security activities from this development. Gender equality also includes the elimination of discrimination and structural injustice against men and women. The issue of gender equality is specifically related to the issue of unequal positions between women and men. This is inseparable from the patriarchal culture that persists in society, which holds that men dominate the family structure, where historically, women were seen as unable to manage the public sector on their own, their own affairs without male leadership. The causes of sexual violence in educational institutions are first, the lack of attention and handling from the government. Second, an unequal way of thinking. Third, there is an unequal power relation. Fourth, the lack of education about sex and social ethics. Prevention of sexual violence must be done at all levels including in Islamic educational institutions. Mechanisms to prevent sexual violence by following the principle of prevention so that it is structured systematically and on target.

Abstract

Speaking in public can cause anxiety because basically every activity carried out by humans has tendency to anxiety. A This study was designed in the form of quantitative research, using the experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design and took place at MAN 3 Sleman. The data collection method used is by using a questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Meanwhile, for the data analysis process, paired samples t-test was used. The results showed; obtained a mean value of 110.00 for before giving flooding or pretest and 204.27 for after giving flooding or posttest, the increase in the mean value indicates the effect of techniques flooding to minimize students' social anxiety in expressing opinions in public and shows a significance value of 0.000, which is 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), which means that the hypothesis is accepted with a significance value criterion of <0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted (Ho is rejected). Then it can be concluded that "There is an effect of giving treatment using techniques flooding to minimize students' social anxiety in expressing opinions in public"

Abstract

The many changes that have occurred in the world of education have also had an impact on learning patterns related to teaching materials and teaching techniques. On the other hand, students think that Ibn Sina's Islamic Education has nothing to do with current education. However, in reality there is still relevance related to Ibn Sina's Islamic Education in contemporary Education, especially in Free Learning Education. The purpose of this study is to find out how to learn as in the concept of an independent curriculum in its relevance to the thoughts of the Islamic Education figure Ibnu Sina. This research is a transdisciplinary study with a qualitative approach in literature review. Sources of data in this study were obtained from literature in the fields of Islamic Education and Free Learning Education which were searched and collected and analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study show that the concept of Ibn Sina's Education with Freedom of Learning Education is very relevant which still uses teaching methods or materials that are in accordance with the curriculum, but in implementation of course it is in accordance with the current developments

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the social reality of religious moderation among students, especially activists from extra-campus Islamic organizations. The existence of student organizations has a strategic role in the process of building student character. In its development, Islamic student organizations are very vulnerable to being infiltrated by radical ideology. Religious higher education is the most relevant vehicle for sowing the virus of religious moderation. This study is important as material for evaluating the extent to which students respond to the mainstreaming of religious moderation echoed by the government. The results of this study indicate that students actively and continuously accept and respond to social issues and events related to religious moderation that occur on campus. It includes the process of externalization, objectification, and internalization.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers, it shows that most students are not actively involved in participating in science learning, in the matter of analyzing the water cycle. Given this background, to improve students' abilities in analyzing the water cycle material, a solution was formulated, namely using the guided inquiry method assisted by water cycle bag learning media. The approach used in this research is qualitative research with a Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) design with stages 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The results showed that the active learning of students in class VA SD Negeri 2 Baleharjo in learning science on the water cycle material after being given a learning action using the guided inquiry strategy assisted by the media of the water cycle bag experienced an increase of 25%, namely from cycle I of 54.17% (13 students) to 79.17% (19 students) and included in the very high category. The action in this study was stopped and said to be successful in cycle II because it had reached the success criteria.
