Abstract

This article description (1) First Language of Student SMAN Titian Teras HAS in skill writes eksposisi and (2) correlation between the first language Bahasa Indonesia with skill writes text eksposisi. Research method applied is qualitative descriptive. The analysis qualitatively and quantitative. Research data in the form of usage of the first language student (Bahasa Indonesia and Vernacular Jambi), 44,58% student applies the first language Bahasa Indonesia, and 55,42% student applies Vernacular Jambi. A number of 39,76% very skillful student writes text eksposisi, 49,40% has not very skillful writes text eksposisi and; 10,84% have been skillful writes text eksposisi. There is positive correlation between the first language student SMAN Titian Teras HAS and skill writes text eksposisi. Keywords : first language, skill writes, text eksposisi

Abstract

The study is aimed at analyzing the intrinsic elements in an old prose titled “Hikayat Cerita Taifah” (The Legend of Taifah). The objective of the study is to reveal the intrinsic elements of the story in such a way that the prose can be read, enjoyed and beneficial for the present society. Theoritically, the benefit of the study is to give inputs to the learning of old Malay Literature at schools and to provide learning material regarding elements of literature work, particularly in prose genre. The practical benefits expected is to build the strong character and to develop good personality of the young generation. Keywords : analysis, intrinsic elements, legend, the story of Taifah.

Abstract

In the implementation of learning teachers are often faced with various problems. Problems that arise can be caused by some factor. Among them is a less conducive class situation as perceived by students of class V A SDN No. 100 / Ma.Bungo. The concentration of students is disturbed by the noise of the class next to his right. Lack of attention of parents to student learning also affect the motivation of student learning in school. So that students are less serious in following learning. The most important problem is the problem of learning, where the acquisition of student learning outcomes at the end of learning is not in accordance with the learning objectives that have been planned at the beginning of learning. The learning problem being encountered by the author arises when students are told to search for information quickly and precisely from a text by reading the scan. Alternative problem solving that will be done based on the authors review with supervisor 2 on the results of problem analysis, the main factor is the main cause of the presentation of the material is not accompanied by learning media. Thus an alternative problem solving the low ability of class V A students in doing reading scan is by "Use of newspaper media in the implementation of learning".

Abstract

Research on the Values ​​of Education in Seloko Adat Jambi Malay is an oral or foklor satra research. This research is based on the needs of the Jambi Malay community. The problem of this research is the values ​​of education in the seloko adat Jambi Malay region? and how is it implentasinya in everyday life? The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values ​​contained in the Javanese Malay customs melayu and describe the form of its use in the life of the people of Jambi. The data in this study are oral and reinforced data with written data. To analyze the data used descriptive method with data analysis technique is the method of extralingual padan with basic technique Pilih Unsur Penentu (PUP) and advanced technique Hubung Banding Samakan (HBS), Hubung Banding Bedakan (HBB). The results of the study describe that the value of education is a trait or attitude that is useful in an effort to mature humans in the direction of a more perfect life. Such attitudes and attitudes in the traditional seloko of Jambi Malay are religious values, ie their fate will be fate, gratitude, and resignation. For the value of ethics education found attitude speech words and manners / etiquette. The value of social education found the attitude of affection, loyalty, and exemplary attitude. To illustrate the value of moral education found the attitude of patience, the attitude of keeping promises, willingness to sacrifice, humble attitude, attitude not easily despair, attitude does not denigrate / mencapuri other people's business, firm stance, and attitude to help others. All of these attitudes and attitudes are contained in the seloko adat Jambi Malay area.

Abstract

In the history stated that one of the spread of the Malay language in the province of Jambi. In the subsequent development of Malay language is still used as a style of speech in everyday life Jambi Malay community. Based on observations during this style of speech that is actually still used in accordance with the phonetic is the Malay community Across the city of Jambi. This research data is the phonetic description of Malay dialects across the city of Jambi. In collecting the data, the research instrument is the researcher's own (human instrument). Researchers came to the Malay community residence location for data collection. Phonetic data collection through observation, interviews, and recording. Results of research and discussion, that sounds Malay dialect is phonetically Across town can be classified as follows. Vowel sounds, consisting of; sound [a], a [i], a [i], sound [u], sound [U], sound [e], a [Ɛ], sound [ә], sound [o], and a [O] , Consonant sounds in speech style Malay Dialects Across major cities; sound [b], sound [c], sound [d], sound [g], sound [h [, sound [j], sound [k], a [? Abstract

The research objective was to describe the ability of aspects of pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. The benefits of this research are useful as input for teachers who teach Indonesian subjects, especially teachers in SMPN 19 Jambi City. Data obtained using quantitative descriptive method implemented in January 2014. Data were obtained by observing the appearance of the drama played by students with attention to several aspects namely: pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. Based on research results is the ability VIIIA grade students in the drama category to play well with an average of 72.98. In the aspect of pronunciation ability of students in the drama category to play well with an average of 15.97. Intonation aspects of students' ability to play both drama category with an average of 76.4. Mimic aspects of students' ability to play well with the drama category average of 75.35. Kinesik aspects of students' ability to play with enough drama category average of 73.97. While the appreciation of aspects of students' ability to play enough drama category with an average of 75. The results of the study suggested that teachers, especially Indonesian teachers have a container as a child's talents to be more focused and honed to a better direction again.

Abstract

The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive type of approach. Source of research data is a daily newspaper Jambi Independent. Data collection technique used wancana analysis techniques which refer to the semantic analysis. Checking the validity of the data using the triangulation method and theory. Research conducted on Jambi Independent idiom in the daily edition of June 2013, found forty-eight (48) idiom in crime news of forms namely: form words (18 idioms) and the form of the phrase (30 idiom). Based on these results it can be concluded that the use of idioms in crime news is still often used in the form of words and phrases. If the terms of the idiom meaning it can be stated that the use of idioms in crime news daily Independent Jambi June 2013 edition is used as a meaning which tends to lead to the situation, stated objects, places, people and jobs (activities). Based on the research results presented some suggestions that can be expected of government and journalists should use simple words or language that is easily digested by the public. This study aims to assess the use of idioms in Jambi Independent Daily newspaper edition in June 2013 to determine the form and meaning of idioms contained in Jambi Independent daily newspaper June 2013 edition.

Abstract

The problem in this research is what Lingual Forms Pragmatic Unit, and the Pragmatic Implications stand up comedyIndonesia Reuters TV station April 2014 edition of the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using techniques refer to. Data analysis is done in four steps, namely transcribe the data obtained, identify and classify the data, copy to the data card, and analyze the data card using pragmatic analysis. The results showed that 20 speech in Indonesia upcomedy stand in the April edition of Reuters TV station in 2014. The conclusion of the study forms lingual stand upcomedy conversational implicatures in the form of interrogative sentence, the sentence news, imperative sentences and exclamation sentences. Results of the research unit of pragmatic in a conversational implicatures upcomedyIndonesia stand at Reuters TV station April 2014 edition of the form, inform the facts, explain, reject, asserted, asked, ordered, and bans. Results of the research implications of pragmatic implicature percakapandalam stand upcomedyIndonesia Reuters TV station April 2014 edition of the form, reminiscent, complaining, comparing, amazed, invites, reject, scolding, insinuating, and inform the facts. Based on the research results, suggestions can be presented to users of the language in order to understand the implications pragmatic conversational implicatures in any event at the TV station, especially for lovers of stand-up comedy should be able to know the shapes sentences containing implicatures conversation so as to increase knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form and function of Jambi Malay customs seloko. Seloko adat here is a custom seloko contained in the procession of customary stir between custom handover at the traditional marriage of Jambi Malay. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The data of this research are word unit, phrase, clause, sentence, text of the ceremony of repetition between the handover of customary marriage of Fortuna Mazka and the text of seloko in the Customary Principles of Sepucuk Jambi Sembilan Lurah (2001). The two texts are reconstructed philologically (critical edition) as the study material.The results of this study indicate that seloko adat ulur between handover of Jambi Malay custom has five forms: (1) kato adat or kato undang (2) kias word (3) kato penyelo (4) petatah-petitih and (5) pantun. Each form has a typology of rhyme, array, stanza, and conventional formulas. Seloko adat ular between the hand-over of Jambi Malay customary has various functions: (1) informational, (2) expressive, (3) directive, (4) aesthetic, and (5) fatik. These functions are firmly attached to each form of the shell, with Jambi's diction and local ideology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe what form and usage of homonyms in Kerinci in Pulau Tengah. This research is included in the form of descriptive research with qualitative approach. The results showed that homonymous form in Kerinci language in Pulau Tengah is divided into two, homonym homograph and homonym homophon and homograph.
