Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the strengthening of character education based on the Indonesian language learning class curriculum 2013 class XI high school 1 Jambi City. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The subject of the study was the Indonesian language teacher class XI. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study include the teacher's lesson plan, implementation, and evaluation of class XI learning. Strengthening character education has 5 values, namely religion, independence, nationalism, mutual cooperation, and integrity. The results of research on strengthening classroom-based character education in planning can be seen from the lesson plan. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of strengthening class-based character education in Indonesian language learning curriculum 2013 class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Jambi City has been carried out in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 22 of 2016 Regarding Secondary Education Process Standards. The implementation of strengthening classroom-based character education has been carried out overall and the evaluation used by the teacher is the attitude, knowledge, and skills assessment. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kurikulum 2013 kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru bahasa Indonesia kelas XI. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi RPP guru, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran kelas XI. Penguatan pendidikan karakter memiliki 5 nilai yaitu religius, mandiri, nasionalis, gotong royong, dan integritas. Hasil penelitian penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas pada perencanaan dilihat dari RPP. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kurikulum 2013 kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi sudah terlaksana sesuai dengan Permendikbud Nomor 22 Tahun 2016 Tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan Menengah. Pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis kelas sudah terlaksana secara keseluruhan dan evaluasi yang digunakan oleh guru penilaian sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the competence of the high school teachers in Jambi in designing, implementing, and evaluating HOTS-oriented Indonesian Language learning. To answer this question, the concept of Indonesian Language learning was employed. This study used a qualitative design with case study technique. The data were comprised of the responses, learning process, and action conducted by the teachers. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling method by considering teacher’s academic qualifications. Data collection was performed through interview accompanied by focused group discussion (FGD), observation and document-ation. The results of this study showed that the Indonesian Language teachers had designed, implemented and evaluated students’ performance in HOTS-oriented Indonesian Language learning. Unfortunately, the teachers were less capable of synergizing the HOTS-oriented learning with pedagogical approaches, such as genre-based (text learning), scientificlearning and CLIL.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan proses pengembangan video pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi di kelas VIII SMP. Video dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan siswa mengenai kebutuhan bahan ajar yang lebih lengkap. Instrumen penelitian berupa pengamatan, lembar angket dan wawancara. Pengembangan video menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Pada tahap analisis, dihasilkan beberapa analisis kebutuhan yang membahas temuan masalah serta kebutuhan dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. Selanjutnya pada tahap desain, ditentukan flowchart struktur materi dalam produk. Lalu pada tahap pengembangan atau development, diperoleh hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media yang dihitung menggunakan rumus skala likert untuk melihat pencapaian hasil produk yang efektif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi diperoleh nilai rata-rata 89,58 pada tahap validasi kedua yang tergolong tinggi. Hasil validasi dari ahli media pada tahap validasi kedua memperoleh nilai rata-rata 98,00 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil perhitungan rumus N-Gain memperoleh nilai kognitif sebesar 0,77 dan nilai psikomotor sebesar 0,79 artinya video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa pada materi teks eksposisi. Dengan demikian produk pengembangan berupa video pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Research on the Values ​​of Education in Seloko Adat Jambi Malay is an oral or foklor satra research. This research is based on the needs of the Jambi Malay community. The problem of this research is the values ​​of education in the seloko adat Jambi Malay region? and how is it implentasinya in everyday life? The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values ​​contained in the Javanese Malay customs melayu and describe the form of its use in the life of the people of Jambi. The data in this study are oral and reinforced data with written data. To analyze the data used descriptive method with data analysis technique is the method of extralingual padan with basic technique Pilih Unsur Penentu (PUP) and advanced technique Hubung Banding Samakan (HBS), Hubung Banding Bedakan (HBB). The results of the study describe that the value of education is a trait or attitude that is useful in an effort to mature humans in the direction of a more perfect life. Such attitudes and attitudes in the traditional seloko of Jambi Malay are religious values, ie their fate will be fate, gratitude, and resignation. For the value of ethics education found attitude speech words and manners / etiquette. The value of social education found the attitude of affection, loyalty, and exemplary attitude. To illustrate the value of moral education found the attitude of patience, the attitude of keeping promises, willingness to sacrifice, humble attitude, attitude not easily despair, attitude does not denigrate / mencapuri other people's business, firm stance, and attitude to help others. All of these attitudes and attitudes are contained in the seloko adat Jambi Malay area.

Abstract

Research on Penanada Kala in Seloko Adat Jambi Malay is an oral research or foklor. This study is based on the needs of the Jambi Malay community to understand and implement the forms of time or time usage in oral tradition. The problem of this research is how the use of time or time in seloko adat Jambi Malay area? and what meaning is contained in penguin time or time in seloko adat Jambi Malay Area? The purpose of this study is to describe the shape and meaning of marker kala in seloka adat Jambi Malay area. The data in this study are oral and reinforced data with written data. To analyze the data used descriptive method with data analysis technique is the method of extralingual padan with basic technique Pilih Unsur Penentu (PUP) and advanced technique Hubung Banding Samakan (HBS), Hubung Banding Bedakan (HBB). The significance of the markers in the indigenous customs of Malay Jambi is influenced by the use of the word task or forerunner and different word of the letters. The meaning that arises from the event of speech is influenced also by the timelessness and the shortness of time.

Abstract

The traditional Javanese Malay expression of Jambi folklore is part of a culturally distributed and traditionally passed down tradition among different groups of people with different verifications, whether in the form of a word utterance accompanied by deeds or by behavior or acts only, for example, adat, proverb, petitih-petitih, folklore. This research aims to describe the form of euphemism in traditional Jambi Malay expression and to describe the meaning of euphemism in Jambi Malay traditional expression. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The result of the research explains that euphemism in Jambi Malay traditional expression is based on semantic approach in terms of linguistic form of words, phrases, and clauses. The meaning of euphemism in traditional Jambi Malay expression is used in certain time, place and certain scope, for example in the context of adat, religion, government, relations among peoples and have noble values ​​about Jambi Malay cultural civilizationsuch as honesty, courage, imitation, health, kinship, sincerity.

Abstract

Traditional phrases as part of Jambi Malay cultural tradition or culture are seloko, proverb, petitih-petitih, pantun, iwa, hum, and so on. These traditional forms of expression have meanings, ideas, messages and objectives that need attention, both in the disclosure of the language and the social context of the speaker's community. A man is said to be cultured or cultured if the person is able to implement the traditional expression of his thoughts, feelings and actions through the context of the social order and the system of his cultivation. To answer the problem, it needs to be described the role of traditional expression in building social order and communication system of Jambi Malay society. As a basis for thinking in medeskripsikan role of traditional expression used concept and theory of traditional expression, sociololinguistic, and pragmatik. The phenomenon of the traditional expression is analyzed by using the socio-pragmatic approach and the extra lingual pad method. Based on the results of traditional expression analysis, it was found that the traditional expression was able to build a high social order and high-level in Jambi Malay society, that is adat philosophy, customary purpose, customary law basis, adat institution position, custom institution function, implemented concretely in the social cultural order of the wearer. It is characterized by the existence of customary civil law, namely private law, kinship law, marriage law, inheritance law, and customary law. The disclosure of the noble social-cultural order was also poured through the text of oral discourse depicted in the communication system of Jambi Malay community by using custom kato. Disclosure of Jambi Malay community communication system using pragmatic principles with maxim of quality, maxim of quantity, maxim of relationship, way maxim, maxim of wisdom, maxim of generosity, maxim of praise, maxim of humility, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the scientific approach in planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning to write the text of student procedures in class VII CI SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. This research method using qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected by using documentation method, observation, and interview. The data of this research is the lesson planning in the form of RPP, the process of writing text writing procedure in class VII CI SMP Negeri 1 Kota Jambi, transcript of interview with teacher of teaching field and documentation of learning process happened. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan konsep melayu Jambi dipandang dari ras, bahasa dan budaya; nilai ketamadunan melayu Jambi dipandang dari Islam; dan implementasi ketamadunan melayu Jambi dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian etnografi. Partisipan adalah tokoh masyarakat, tokoh adat, dan masyarakat dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu (1) Melayu Jambi dipandang dari tiga domain, yaitu rasa atau genetika, bahasa dan budaya. (2) Nilai ketamadunan melayu Jambi bersumber dari Islam yang dimplementasikan dalam beberapa aspek kehidupan masyarakat melayu Jambi, dan (3) Implementasi tamadun melayu Jambi berdasarkan analisis fenomena kebudayaan melayu Jambi yang mencirikan pendidikan karakter bangsa bisa dilihat dalam hal: berpegang pada akidah Islam sebagai asas pandangan semestanya; sangat menghormati pemimpin; amat menjaga adat resam termasuk pantang larang dan adat istiadat; memberi keutamaan kepada yang tua atau berusia; mengutamakan ikatan kekeluargaan dan hubungan silaturahim; bersopan santun; berbudi bahasa; bermusyawarah atau bermufakat; dan gotong ronyong. Kata kunci: tamadun melayu, masyarakat Jambi, etnografi Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the Jambi Malay concept in terms of race, language and culture; the value of ketamadunan melayu Jambi is seen from Islam; and the implementation of the Jambi melodies in the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic studies. Participants are community leaders, traditional leaders, and the community with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study are (1) Jambi Malay viewed from three domains, namely taste or genetics, language and culture. (2) The value of the Jambi Malay community originates from Islam implemented in several aspects of Jambi Malay people's life, and (3) The implementation of Jambi Malay Culture based on an analysis of the phenomenon of Jambi Malay culture that characterizes national character education can be seen in terms of: adhering to Islamic faith as a principle proper view; very respectful of leaders; very guarding traditional customs including abstinence and customs; give priority to the old or old; prioritizing family ties and friendship relations; manners; urbane; deliberate or agree; and mutual cooperation.
