Abstract

Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaah (abbreviated by Aswaja) is one of the Islamic Aqidah adherents in Indonesia. Aswaja has played an important role in the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation since time immemorial. This role continues in the modern era in maintaining the integrity of the nation from civil divisions, one of which is caused by radicalism in a pluralistic society. In this research, it will be known how Aswaja Islam's strategies are in protecting the integrity of the Indonesian nation from radicalism issues through the fields of education and literacy. The research method used in this qualitative research is a systematic literature review, which aims to synthesize several previous articles in the 2019-2023 period related to Aswaja Islamic education and literacy strategies in countering radicalism. The results of this research construct five literacy strategies and twelve educational strategies that have been applied by Aswaja Islam as a preventive measure against radicalism in Indonesia in this modern era. Through this finding, it can inform policy makers to design and implement educational curricula that incorporate Aswaja’s strategies for countering radicalism, fostering a more inclusive and tolerant environment in schools and universities. Furthermore, The government also can develop literacy programs that emphasize critical thinking, understanding of Aswaja principles, and the importance of national unity to prevent radicalism.

Abstract

This da'wah activity is increasingly spreading to the world of film, including the film 172 Days. The film tells the story of the migration journey of a young woman who experiences difficult times in her life, including mental problems that lead her away from religion. For this reason, the author conducted an in-depth study of the film 172 days in order to understand the preaching messages contained in the film. The aim of this research is to analyze da'wah messages related to Aqidah, sharia and morals. The theoretical benefits of this research can be a reference for future writers and provide insight into knowledge about da'wah. Practically, it is hoped that this research can motivate preachers to make more use of film media. The author uses library research with qualitative methods. Content Analysis is a qualitative research technique that emphasizes the regularity of communication content, the meaning of communication content, the reading of symbols, and the meaning of symbolic interactions that occur in communication. The results of this research reveal that there is a da'wah message that includes aspects of Aqidah, sharia and morals. The Aqidah message found includes faith in Allah and belief in the last day. Moral messages include behavior towards God, oneself and family. Meanwhile, the message of sharia includes aspects of worship of Allah and muamalah relationships.

Abstract

The development of modern technology and communications influences the way da'i convey da'wah messages to mad'u. The use of print, electronic and digital media is a necessity and an effective strategy to attract mad'u's attention, enabling the delivery of more exciting and varied messages. One effective method of conveying da'wah messages is through print media such as novels, which, with their literary sentences, can compete with other media in terms of popularity and effectiveness. The purpose of this research is to find out the da'wah messages contained in the novel "Tinta Terakhir" by Narandara. The research uses a qualitative content analysis method, with data taken from dialogue excerpts in the book. The findings of the investigation showed that there were 25 da'wah messages consisting of 4 aqidah messages (1 faith in Allah and three faith in qada and qadar), eight messages regarding sharia including worship (7 prayers and one reading of the Koran), 13 messages regarding morals (6 morals towards Allah, four morals towards fellow humans, and three morals towards family). These findings show that the novel "Tinta Terakhir" can be an effective medium for da'wah by conveying da'wah messages through attractive literary language, able to compete with other media in terms of popularity and effectiveness in conveying da'wah messages.

Abstract

The National Local Content curriculum, which is centered on Islamic education and consists of the National curriculum, the Islamic education curriculum, the scouting curriculum, and the skills curriculum, is integrated with the curriculum through the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT). The purpose of this research is to describe how the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT) curriculum is implemented at SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri, Magelang City, as it is realized in the school program, and to identify the factors that facilitate and hinder this implementation. This study is using a qualitative research design. The primary data sources were gathered through observation, documentation, and interviews.

Abstract

The coherence of ideas and actions concerning the Da'wah of the Mathla'ul Anwar organization in Indonesia is the subject of this article. As one of the biggest Islamic community organizations (ormas) in Indonesia following Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama during the period of Indonesian independence, Mathla'ul Anwar (MA) worked with the Islamic modernization movement to encourage a spirit of struggle among the populace in order to avoid being impacted by the imperialists' exploitation, particularly in the Banten region. Up until now, MA organizations have adhered to all of the organization's rules, which include emphasizing social activities, education, and da'wah. The MA blends the pesantren and madrasa systems, with the latter's goal being the production of morally upright and well-rounded professional preachers. Up until now, the MA has the The institution of Mubaligh Mathla'ul Anwar, which houses young da'I cadres, is being developed with the organizational purpose of emphasizing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. Though Khittah Mathla'ul Anwar lost the coherence of its organizational underpinnings during the New Order era, it remains a neutral Islamic community organization that does not adhere to political problems. The Supreme Court oversaw the Wattabligh fatwa assembly's operations and took part in the training of upcoming Indonesian da'I cadres. The author processes descriptive data using a technique that includes a literature review procedure. The idea of consistent MA along the fundamental lines of becoming a mass organization and a da'wah movement in society serves as the foundation for this study.

Abstract

Ibn Rushd, a renowned Islamic thinker, possesses extensive and profound scientific insights, particularly in the realm of Islamic education. As a Muslim intellectual, Ibn Rushd's expertise spans multiple disciplines, including philosophy, astronomy, jurisprudence, mathematics, and medicine. His passion for knowledge was nurtured by a family dedicated to science, leading him to study under distinguished scholars. His thoughts were profoundly influenced by Aristotle's rationality. This study aims to elucidate Ibn Rushd's contributions to Islamic education. The research employed a qualitative method with a literature study approach to analyze relevant literature., presented descriptively through data reduction, and concluded with key findings. The study reveals that Ibn Rushd advocated for integrating religious and general sciences and made significant efforts to harmonize philosophy with sharia (religion). His contributions to Islamic education include classifying students' comprehension levels according to their developmental stages and introducing various learning approaches and models, including the khitobi, jadal, and burhani methods. Additionally, he advocated for learning approaches grounded in reasoning, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL)., and demonstrations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the dynamics and implications of the Pesantren Law Number 18 of 2019 on the life of Pesantren in Indonesia. This law is considered a form of state recognition of the existence of Pesantren, but it has also triggered a polemic regarding the politicization of Pesantren. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, exploring in-depth related issues. The main data sources are trusted online news and related official documents. The research results show that the Pesantren Law is an effort for state recognition, but also opens up opportunities for excessive intervention. Various parties have various views regarding the implementation of this law. This research contributes a theoretical understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between the state and Pesantrens, as well as its implications for public policy, Islamic politics, and the sociology of religion. Practically, the results of this research can provide input for the government, Pesantren institutions, and other stakeholders in responding to the implementation of the Pesantren Law.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Da'wah Strategy of the Padang Sidimpuan Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership Tabligh Council in Fostering Religious Harmony." The aim of this research is to determine the state of religious harmony in the city of Padang Sidimpuan, the da'wah strategy of the Tabligh assembly of the Muhammadiyah regional leadership in Padang Sidimpuan City in improving the development of religious harmony in Padang Sidimpuan City, as well as supporting factors and factors inhibiting religious harmony in the city of Padang Sidimpuan. In this research, the researcher uses a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The location of this study was carried out at the Regional Muhammadiyah Leadership office in Padang Sidimpuan City, at the Majelis Ulama Indonesia Padang Sidimpuan office, and at the office of the Padang Sidimpuan Religion Ministry. The results of this research are: 1) The state of religious harmony in the city of Padang Sidimpuan can actually be said to be good; there is no misunderstanding or a high level of tolerance because the people in the city of Padang Sidimpuan generally still have unity in creating a harmonious society. in everyday life. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors are (a) the existence of awareness of religious communities, a sense of kinship, and religious tolerance, thereby creating a sense of equality and harmony among religious communities in the city of Padang Sidimpuan, and (b) frequent events that occur to create harmony among religious communities. In the city of Padang Sidimpuan, there was a misunderstanding caused by a third party (an outside party). So that, with this research, the Tablighi assembly's Islamic da'wah will continue to develop and be able to overcome similar factors that will occur in the future.

Abstract

The effectiveness of Instagram accounts and the information conveyed to the internet community have a close relationship. Effectiveness is the expected impact, and then it can be assessed from the results of success or achievement of previously planned goals. The @cerita_asahan Instagram account acts as a news aggregator because it collects news from primary sources and delivers important information to the internet community quickly so that its effectiveness can be measured in terms of meeting the information needs of their followers. So the purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the @cerita_asahan account in meeting the information needs of its followers. The study population was the followers of the account, with 100 people sampled. Using quantitative methods, the results showed the effectiveness of the @cerita_asahan account as a news aggregator in fulfilling followers' information needs with a simple linear regression coefficient and partial t-test, which resulted in a partial correlation of 0.846, in accordance with the high category according to Cohen's d interpretation criteria. The t-count value of 11.475 is greater than the t-table of 1.987, indicating that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive effectiveness between the @cerita_asahan account and the fulfillment of the information needs of its followers. Therefore, it is concluded that the @cerita_asahan Instagram account is very effective in meeting the information needs of its followers, so this research is expected to be a good suggestion for the development of the @cerita_asahan Instagram account.

Abstract

Effective communication is an exchange of ideas, feelings and information that can produce changes in behavior, so that a good relationship is established between the sender and recipient of the message. Tasamuh is an attitude of tolerance that must be created within the scope of Islamic education in this century. The current problem is that we see various learning in schools that are unable to achieve learning goals simply because of dis-communication between teachers and students and a lack of mutual respect between each other. The problem that often occurs and is the simplest in communication is that listening skills tend to be lacking. This research is qualitative in nature, using book contents as a source of information to analyze and understand various theories or concepts through book research. This research was carried out using a descriptive approach with qualitative methods as part of collecting the required data. The objectives of this research are: 1. What is the participation of the Alpha generation in carrying out effective learning? 2. What is the teacher's view of the impact of effective learning? 3. What is the teacher's view before and after carrying out effective learning? The theoretical implications of the results of this research increasingly emphasize that religious tolerance and morality are a unified whole in Islamic education which refers to acceptance of differences in gender, race and lifestyle.
