Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research is driven by the rapid evolution of information technology in Indonesia, which has fundamentally reshaped consumer behavior toward utilizing Online Travel Agent services for booking airline tickets. The primary objective of this study is to analyze and compare the service quality between two prominent platforms, Traveloka and Tiket.com, specifically among users located in the Yogyakarta region. The evaluation is framed around five core dimensions of service quality, which include tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Adopting a comparative quantitative approach, primary data was gathered from respondents selected through a targeted sampling technique. Prior to the main analysis, all research instruments underwent rigorous testing to ensure they met the necessary standards for validity and reliability. The statistical analysis revealed significant disparities across all service quality dimensions between the two applications. These findings suggest that each platform possesses unique service characteristics in the eyes of consumers, particularly concerning their visual interfaces, system stability, and customer support efficiency. Consequently, both companies are encouraged to further refine their service responsiveness and technical dependability to better satisfy diverse user expectations. While this study offers valuable insights into digital service quality, it is constrained by its specific geographic focus and product category. Future researchers are advised to expand the geographical scope and incorporate additional variables, such as customer loyalty or price perception, to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Abstract

The increasing competition in the culinary industry, particularly in modern noodle restaurants, requires business actors to understand the factors that influence customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is not only affected by the prices offered, but also by the quality of service and the taste of the products provided to consumers. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, price, and taste on customer satisfaction at the Spicy Noodles XYZ restaurant in South Tangerang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 110 respondents who have visited the restaurant. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, while data analysis is carried out using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS, which includes validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests. The research results indicate that service quality and taste have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, whereas price does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, the simultaneous test results show that service quality, price, and taste together have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.597 indicates that the three independent variables are able to explain 59.7% of the variation in customer satisfaction, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

The trade-off between achieving economic welfare and maintaining ecological stability remains a critical challenge for developing nations like Indonesia. This study examines the dynamic effects of economic growth, fossil fuel consumption, and urbanization on the Environmental Quality Index (EQI) in Indonesia during the period 2007-2024. Using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), the analysis reveals a significant long-term cointegration relationship among the variables. Empirical results show that economic growth has a significant negative impact on environmental quality, confirming the initial stage of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis, in which economic activity is still highly dependent on sectors that degrade the environment. Conversely, urbanization exhibits a positive impact on environmental quality, indicating that urban areas possess more effective environmental governance and resource efficiency compared to rural regions. Although the long-term coefficient of fossil energy consumption is relatively small, Variance Decomposition analysis identifies energy consumption shocks as a persistent determinant of fluctuations in environmental quality. Consequently, this study recommends accelerating the energy transition and strengthening environmental regulations specifically within economic growth centers.

Abstract

The use of live streaming as a digital marketing strategy in e-commerce has been widely adopted by businesses; however, its effectiveness in driving purchase intention largely depends on how the content is delivered to consumers. This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming content quality on purchase intention, with storytelling as an intervening variable on Shopee Live of Erigo Official Shop. This research employs a quantitative approach using probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. The sample consists of 86 respondents, who are active students of Business Administration at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (batch 2022–2023) who have watched the Shopee Live streaming of Erigo Official Shop. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS 4.0). The results indicate that live streaming content quality has a positive and significant effect on storytelling, and storytelling significantly influences purchase intention. However, live streaming content quality doesn’t have a direct effect on purchase intention; instead, it affects purchase intention indirectly through storytelling as an intervening variable. This study concludes that storytelling plays a crucial mediating role in enhancing the effectiveness of live streaming marketing. The limitation of this research lies in its focus on a single brand and platform, which restricts the generalizability of the findings. Therefore, future research is recommended to involve multiple brands and platforms. Managerially, businesses are advised to integrate high-quality content with strong storytelling techniques to improve the effectiveness of live streaming strategies.
