Abstract

Abstract Fisiology anatomy change in the pregnant women make a complaints that oftenappear one which is sleep disorder. 50% of third trimester pregnant womens inPayung Sekaki Health Community Center experience sleep disorder. One way toovercome is with pregnancy exercise. The research aim is for knowing the effect ofpregnancy exercise on sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women in HealthCommunity Center Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru on March until June 2019. Theresearch used pre experiment with one group pretest and post test design.Populations this research is all pregnant women in the third trimester at PayungSekakiPekanbaru Health Community Center and samples this research was 29 peopletaken by purposive sampling technique. Data the sleep quality in research usePittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Univariate and bivariate dataanalysis using the Wilcoxon test. Result the research show there is increase sleepquality in third trimester pregnant women with p value 0,000 (p<0,005) that meansthere is significant effect ofsleep quality in third trimester pregnant women beforeand after pregnancy exercise.Suggestions in this study are that the research siteconducts a pregnancy exercise program an invites pregnant women to take part inpregnancy exercises regularly.

Abstract

Abstract Based on Pekanbaru City Health Profile data in 2017, the coverage ofpregnant women's visits at Sidomulyo Health Center was 1.985. The results ofa preliminary survey at Sidomulyo Health Center found 80% of pregnantwomen experienced back pain. One of the non-pharmacological methods toreduce back pain during pregnancy is pregnancy exercise. This study aimedto determine the decrease in back pain in third trimester pregnant women withpregnancy exercise. This study used a pre-experimental designconducted inSidomulyo Community Health Center Pekanbaru from March to June 2019.The population was trimester III pregnant women who came to check theirpregnancy at the Sidomulyo Health Center in March-May 2019 with a samplesize of 15 taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was doneby assessing the back pain of pregnant women before and after pregnancyexercise. The results showed that the average back pain before pregnancyexercise was 3.87, whereas after pregnancy exercise was 1.73. There was adecrease in pain intensity after pregnancy exercise (p = 0.001). It isexpected that midwives should be able to conduct counseling especially inthird trimester pregnant women to do pregnancy exercises

Abstract

Prolonged labor accounts for 5% of the high causes of maternal mortality in Indonesia. It can be caused by inadequate contractions during labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the consumption of date palm on the duration of the first stage of labor in Privately Independent Midwife Practices of Pekanbaru in January-May 2020. This quasy experiment research used a static group comparison approach. The population was maternity in Dince Safrina Privately Independent Midwife and Afiyah Pratama Clinic in March-April 2020. The total sample of 20 people was taken by purposive sampling technique consisted of 10 women for the experimental group and 10 women for the control group. The method of collecting data was through observation using observation sheets. Data analysis used independent t test with 95% confidence level. The results showed that the average length of labor for mothers who ate dates was 411 minutes (SD = 131.757) and for mothers who did not eat dates was 592 minutes (SD = 212.135). Statistical test results showed that there were differences in the duration of the first stage of labor between mothers who ate dates and those who did not eat dates (p-value = 0.034). It is concluded that the consumption of dates in labor effectively accelerates the first stage of labor. It is recommended for health workers especially midwives to provide education about the benefits of dates in accelerating the delivery of the first stage

Abstract

Low levels of hemoglobin in the blood can cause anemia. According to WHO, 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are related to anemia in pregnancy caused by iron deficiency. In 100 grams of dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) contains 0.55-0.65 mg of iron and 8.00-9.00 mg of vitamin C. This type of research is a Quasy Experiment with one group pretest-posttest method. The sample of this study amounted to 20 pregnant women selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the average Hb level of pregnant women before being given dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) was 12,250 (SD .8912) and after being given dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) the average Hb level of pregnant women was 13,600 (SD .6905). ). Based on the results of the T-dependent test, it was found that there was an effect of giving dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) to hemoglobin levels in pregnant women (p = 0.000 (<0.05)). It is recommended for pregnant women to consume Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus).

Abstract

The inability to release breast milk is a problem experienced by breastfeeding mothers. One of the causes of non-smooth milk production is a decrease in milk production on the first day after giving birth, which can be caused by a lack of the hormone Oxytocin which plays a very important role in the smooth production of breast milk. To express breast milk requires an effort in the form of Oxytocin massage. on Postpartum Mothers in the Working Area of ​​Lumut Health Center, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2021 this type of research is quantitative with a Quasy-experimental design. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers who experienced irregular breastfeeding in the Lumut Health Center Work Area, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2021 with a sample of 19 mothers with the Wilcoxon test. Postpartum Mother. Statistical test using Wilcoxont ​​statistical test. The results of this study showed that the average smoothness of breast milk in postpartum mothers before Oxytocin massage was 4.6316 (Substandard), while the average smoothness of breast milk in postpartum mothers after Oxytocin massage was 8.0526 (Smooth). The Wilcoxon test shows that the p value = o,oo <a (0.05) so that Ha is accepted. There is an effect of Oxytocin massage on the smoothness of breastfeeding in the working area of ​​the Lumut Health Center, Lumut District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2021

Abstract

Breastfeeding mothers need adequate nutrition for the health of their bodies and babies. Psychological disorders in the mother cause reduced breastfeeding. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional fulfillment and anxiety levels with breastfeeding in post-partum mothers at PMB Nelly Marlina Harahap, Panyanggar Village, Padangsidimpuan Utara District in 2021. This type of research uses a cross-optional design study. The population in this study were 30 post partum mothers who gave ASI to their babies. Nelly Marlina Harahap with a sample size of 30 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. The results showed that there was a relationship between nutritional fulfillment (p value = 0.025) and anxiety level (p value = 0.001) with breastfeeding for post partum mothers at PMB Nelly Padangsidimpuan City in 2021. The conclusion was that there was a relationship between nutritional fulfillment and anxiety levels with expressing breastmilk in post partum mothers. It is hoped that mothers increase their knowledge about the fulfillment of nutrition in post partum mothers so that mothers can produce lots of breast milk and maintain a good psychological condition so that excessive stress does not occur.

Abstract

A Pregnant woman will experience an increase in blood volume, this causes the need for iron to increase. The amount of iron needed during pregnancy is around 800-1000 mg, including to meet the needs of increasing red blood cells which require 300-400 mg of iron up to 32 weeks of gestation, to meet the needs of the fetus around 100-200 mg of iron . about 190 mg of iron will be lost during delivery. Common causes of anemia in pregnant woman are malnutrition ,loss of blood during past labor , chronic diseases such as intestinal woem tuberculosis and malaria . A person’s daily nutritional status is strongly influenced by the consumption of nutrients. The wrong or inappropriate nutritional intake for pregnant woman will cause health problems. The term malnutrition is defined as the wrong nutritional intake in the form of excess or insufficient intake, causing an imbalance between the needs and nutritional intake of pregnant woman. One of the easy, cheap, and fast determinants of nutritional status is LILA which reflects energy reserves so that it can reflect chronic energy deficiency in woman of childbearing age and pregnant woman .Objective : to determine the relationship between nutritional intake and the incidence of anemia ib pregnant woman at the Padangsidimpuan city at 2021.Methode : this research is included in the type of quantitative research with a descriptive analytical research design using a cross sectional study approach . with a total sample of 16 people using accidental sampling technique approach and the data was processes univariate and bivariate

Abstract

Many factors can affect maternal mortality, one of which is caused by anemia in pregnancy. Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normal Anemia can be caused by several factors. There are direct and indirect factors. The direct factors are the adequacy of consumption of blood-added tablets, pregnancy interval, parity, nutritional status, and infectious diseases. The main cause of anemia is a lack of iron intake in food or blood-added tablets. The incidence of anemia is caused by a lack of iron intake. This research uses crossectional design. The population in this study was the mother of the baby in Sipahutar Public Health Center as much as 42 people, and samples used the total sampling. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed no relationship age (0.00), knowledge (0,00) While the parity had no relationship (0.23) with the incidence of anemia. It is hoped that the expectant mothers are expected to spend time visiting the Puskesmas to follow the counseling or health promotion about the impact of anemia in pregnant women so that pregnant women can have good knowledge.

Abstract

Sectio Caesarea surgery causes pain and results in changes in tissue continuity due to surgery. The pain will cause various problems, one of which is lactation. To support successful breastfeeding, mothers need to know good and correct breastfeeding techniques. There are several types of breastfeeding techniques, including side lying position and foodball hold. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between side lying position and football hold breastfeeding position on post-section cesarean wound pain in TK IV Army Hospital Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasy experimental with posttest-only research design and statistical test using independent T-test. The samples in this study were 20 postpartum mothers who gave birth by section cesarean (SC) on the second day which were divided into 2 groups, 10 breastfeeding in a side lying position and 10 people in a football hold position. The study was conducted in the Mawar Room of the TK .IV Army Hospital from January to May 2021. The results showed that the average post-section cesarean wound pain in the side lying position group was 4.40 ± 1.075, while in the football hold breastfeeding group was 3, 8 ± 1.033. The results showed that there was no difference between side lying position and football hold on post section cesarean wound pain (p = 0.219). It is recommended that the hospital which is the place for post-cesarean section care for mothers can guide the mother to breastfeed on the second day of the post-cesarean section.

Abstract

Hemoglobin level is the most easily used parameter in determining anemia status. According to the World Health Organization (WHO in 2016, the prevalence of anemia in the world ranges from 40-88%. Eggs are one of the foods that contain iron of 7.2 mg/grain, and papaya fruit contain vitamin C of 78 mg/100 gr. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of giving boiled free-range chicken eggs and papaya fruit on increase hemoglobin levels in adolescents girls at the Tahfizh Al-Quds Islamic Boarding School In Pekanbaru City in 2021. This type of research is Quasi Experiment with One Group Pretest and Posttest. This research was conducted in January to May 2021 at the Tahfizh Al-Quds Islamic Boarding School In Pekanbaru City. The sample of this study of 15 people where the sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used dependent T test with a significance level of 95%. The results showed that the average hemoglobin level in adolescent girls before being given boiled free-range chicken eggs and papaya fruit was 13.5gr/dL and after being intervention increased 14.2gr/dL. The P-value was 0.000. There is an effect of giving boiled free-range chicken eggs and papaya fruit to the increase in hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls at the Tahfizh Al-Quds Islamic Boarding School In Pekanbaru City.
