Abstract

PT.XYZ mengalami ketidak balancenya loding vs capacity pada produksi line assy caliper 2 dengan selisi produksi 13 pcs/jam selisi cycle time current terhadap take time adalah sebesar 2.1 detik data ini sesuai dengan laporan produksi line assy caliper 2 , Gap ini terjadi akibat proses clamping griper mesih dilakukan secara manual akibatnya banyak waktu Muda ( sia-sia ) pada proses tersebut. Sering terjadi part terjatuh , part susah dipasang dan dilepaskan sehingga berakibat proses jadi delay selama 2,1 detik laporan ini terlihat pada grafik monitoring problem line produksi assy caliper 2 . Dengan konsep melakukan penelitian dilapangan produksi langsung kemudian menganalisa kareteristik proses produksi diharapkan problem yang terjadi dapat dicarikan solusi untuk menghilangkan waktu MUDA ( Sia-sia ). Dari hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa memodifikasi jig & fixture dengan pendekatan prinsip 6 Degree Of Freedom dapat menghilangkan gap produksi pada line assy calip er 2 sebesar 2,1 dtk atau 13 pcs /jam dengan cara merubah proses produksi manual menjadi Otomasi dan membuat jig & fixture pencekam benda kerja yang peneliti sebut Chuki-chuki Otomation. Hasilnya setelah dirubah system manual ke otomasi dengan menggunakan Chuki-Chuki pencekam proses loading dan unloading caliper di line assy caliper dapat dihilangkan sehinga bisa mengurangi waktu 1,5 dtk waktu loading dan unloading

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the plastic packaging (Flexible Packaging) industry in Indonesia and has customers from national to international levels. The large demand for plastic packaging requires companies to be able to meet every customer request. This large number of requests has an impact on the many types of products that must be fulfilled by the company, resulting in increased downtime during the change order process, especially on printing machines. With the lean manufacturing approach, there is a 5S method (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu and shitsuke) as a way of creating and maintaining a quality work environment. After making observations, it is known that there are several activities that can be categorized as waste in the product replacement process, including waiting time, defects, excessive transportation and unnecessary motion. After processing with the 5S method, an improvement plan is made. At the Seiri stage, the improvements that must be made are by giving Red Tags, for the Seiton stage, the improvements are moving the preparation area and placing ink cans. At the Seiso stage, the improvements needed to make checksheets and layouts were made, at the Seiketsu stage, improvements were made to work instructions and making 5S posters, and finally, at the Shitsuke stage, training and outreach were carried out as well as periodic evaluations.

Abstract

In industrial processes, measurement is an important variable. In industrial processes a lot must be controlled. Among them are pressure (pressure) in a pipe, flow in a pipe, temperature, and surface liquid (level) in a tank. Transmitter is used as a physical signal converter into a signal or sends signals from the transmitter device (sensor) to the controller and from the controller to the final controller. In this case, level measurement will be discussed by calculating the transmitter value to get accurate results before being installed in the field.

Abstract

Heart rate and body temperature are one of the determining factors or vital signs in the selection of health. Measurements regarding heart and body temperature are carried out to determine the clinical signs and are useful to confirm the diagnosis of a disease. In the process of checking the heart rate and body temperature still use conventional equipment such as a stethoscope and glass thermometer. The measurement process is done one by one then the process of recording the results of measurements is done by hand. this system is less effective because it takes a lot of time. In this study a monitoring system was developed that refutes the state of integrated body temperature, the measurement results related to the patient's health status installed through a desktop-based application. This monitoring process is carried out using a heart rate sensor to deny the heart rate and a DS18B20 sensor to measure body temperature. Input data processing from the second sensor is done using a microcontroller. The method used to make this research is a prototype. Overall this system is able to measure heart rate and body temperature, equipped with a user interface feature using LabView that can display heart rate, body temperature and to find out the level of health from the research results obtained an error value of 2.26% to measure heart rate and 0.81% for body temperature measurements. Abstract

The industrial world is increasingly advanced, especially in the field of air conditioning technology, this is influenced by the development of information systems that are very fast and dynamic. Industries compete to use technology to make their operations more efficient. The cooling machine has made a lot of progress. Currently, various refrigeration machines are not only used to cool rooms and vehicles, but refrigeration machines are also needed to cool the products produced. One of the advances in cooling machine technology is the AKL5500AV chiller machine. This machine is used to cool PBL plastic products produced. The temperature generated by this cooling machine is unstable, so it affects the production results at PT. XXX. This test is carried out by analyzing temperature indicators and wind pressure indicators at different hours and different temperature conditions. To get maximum results, testing is carried out on the chiller machine. The purpose of this test is to see the performance of the chiller and find out the COP value of the chiller. The test results show that the Coefficient of performance (COP) and Performance factor (PF) values produced are not in accordance with the standards. Chiller's COP value was 3.04 and PF was 4.04. This is of course an input that in order to maintain the performance of the cooling machine, maintenance of the chiller machine must be maintained.

Abstract

Abstract. Two-wheeled vehicles, namely motorbikes, are still the mainstay as an affordable means of transportation for the majority of Indonesian people. Motorcycles are a means of transportation that are often found, both in urban and rural areas. Motorcycles have many advantages compared to other means of transportation Tires are an important part of land vehicles, tire conditions that are not in accordance with the standards can cause tire bursts which result in traffic accidents. Frictional forces that occur in the tires can cause wear on the tires. Various factors that affect wear include the speed of movement and the amount of load. In this study an analysis was carried out to find out how the effect of load and speed on the resulting frictional cross-sectional area. The analytical method used in this study is Kruskall-Wallis and Mann-Whitney. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa faktor beban memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penampang gesekan ban sepeda motor pada lintasan beton. Sedangkan perlakuan atau faktor kecepatan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penampang gesekan ban sepeda motor pada lintasan beton.

Abstract

. Determining suppliers for procurement of goods is a complex task because many criteria must be considered and some criteria are difficult to judge. Changes in supplier performance and lack of available information can complicate decision making. Selection of the right supplier can help reduce operational costs, increase profits and product quality, increase competitiveness in the market, and meet customer needs efficiently. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a method that can assist practitioners in selecting suppliers logically, especially in situations of uncertainty and/or lack of information. Implementation of the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method is used to select the best solution based on predetermined criteria. One of the MCDM methods that can be used is the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), which was selected in several Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) models because the concept is simple and easy to understand, and has several advantages. This research was conducted at a steel structure engineering and fabrication company where one of the products produced was steel construction for bridges, towers, and fabrication. The main material used is elbow steel. Due to the large number of suppliers who can provide goods, this research examines the selection of angle steel suppliers for the company's main material. The results of TOPSIS calculations in supplying the main raw materials are suppliers of PT. KW with regard to 4 criteria, namely Quality, Delivery, Warranty and Claim Policy, and Price.

Abstract

Indonesia's population growth has increased every year which has an impact on the conversion of agricultural land into settlements. Hydroponics is a solution to the conversion of agricultural land. Hydroponics is a farming system without soil. In hydroponics, pH and nutrient levels are very important to keep plants growing properly. However, there are obstacles in the hydroponic farming system, namely in terms of controlling pH and nutrient levels which are still done manually. the result of not optimally controlling pH and nutrient levels in hydroponics will result in less optimal plant growth and even plant death. Therefore, we need a tool that can control pH and nutrient levels by using an Arduino microcontroller as a controller, a pH meter sensor to measure pH levels, and a TDS meter to measure nutrient levels. In this research, the hydroponic system used is the Nutrient Film Technique system, which is a hydroponic system that uses shallow water flow. This research was conducted in the hydroponic lab at the University of Perjuangan, Tasikmalaya, which still controls the levels of nutrients and the pH of the water used for hydroponic plants, which is still done manually. The results of this research are that the tool is designed to be able to maintain pH levels and nutrient levels for hydroponic lettuce plants with an error rate of 1.6% for pH sensors and 0.6% for TDS sensors which allows pH and nutrient levels for lettuce to be sufficient and stable.

Abstract

Decision makers need analytical tools that allow them to solve problems. Decisions to be taken are complex with major risks such as policy formulation, decision makers often need tools in scientific, logical, and structured forms. To determine the priority stages of criteria in order to obtain the most optimal results in returning uniform vendor selection decisions at PT Penjalindo Nusantara (Metaform) using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. In essence, AHP is a comprehensive decision-making model by taking into account qualitative and quantitative matters. There are three main principles in problem solving in AHP, namely: Decomposition, Comparative Judgment, and Logical Concistency. Bycomparing in pairs to determine the priority weight on each criterion and alternative. One of the paired comparisons is carried out in pairwise comparisons between criteria. Vendor selection criteria include quality, price, flexibility, delivery and service criteria. . Compiling alternatives that have been determined in the form of matirx in order to obtain the assessment weight of each variable, a table of pair comparison rating scales is made. Based on the results of the AHP calculation, each weight for each venodr is obtained PT Intan of 0.62860 and the weight value of the Super Decision is 0.638683. PT Parahita as a vendor with a weight value of 0.20475 and a weight value in Super Decision of 0.203985. PT Marcapada with a weight value of 0.16665 and a weight value in Super Decision of 0.159189. So the main uniform supplier is PT Intan with the largest weight.

Abstract

. PT Indorama Synthetics Purwakarta Tbk, located on Jl. Industri Ubrug kembangkuning, Kec. Babakan Cikao, Purwakarta Regency is engaged in textile, namely in terms of spinning and polyester, rayon yarn, recycled polyester yarn and blended yarn from synthetic fiber and recycled fiber. This study aims to determine the types of defects that are dominant in POY-CP3 yarn products, determine the factors that cause defects in POY CP-3 yarn products, find out how to control quality in order to reduce the amount of damage or defects in POY CP-3 yarn. In this study, the authors used data on the number of yarn defects for the period April 2022 to April 2023. This research uses seven tools in the form of flow charts, cheek sheets, histograms, scatter diagrams, pareto diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control maps. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that although there are still defective products, the company has carried out quality monitoring starting from quality control of raw materials, process quality control. From the calculation data with C-Chart analysis that yarn defective products in April 2022 to April 2023 are outside the control limits (out of control). With product damage that is outside the control limits or out of control, the company must better maintain the production process so that damage does not occur outside the control limits. So that the production produced in the next period can meet the quality standards.
