Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Formosa (JPMF) adalah platform publikasi hasil praktik dan proses pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, akademisi, dan masyarakat luas. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Formosa (JPMF) bertujuan mengeksplorasi masalah dan solusi yang memfokuskan praktik yang berkaitan dengan layanan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Formosa (JPMF) adalah jurnal online yang didedikasikan untuk publikasi artikel pengabdian masyarakat berkualitas tinggi yang berfokus pada implementasi layanan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Formosa (JPMF) terbit selama 6 kali dalam setahun yaitu February, April, Juni, Agustus, Oktober, dan Desember.

<![CDATA[As an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the government issued a policy for schools to implement online learning since March 2020. Was online learning effective during the Covid-19 pandemic. The object that the writer examined was the ability to speak and tell stories in class VII Sentosa School students. Because maybe online learning at home is less effective so students are asked to look for it from various sources. During online learning, teachers are required to be more innovative, and teachers must change and create new teaching methods so that teaching and learning activities are not boring and monotonous. Sentosa School grade 7 researchers and tutors conduct online storytelling activities in English. Researchers apply learning to tell stories with the media of hand puppets and discussion methods. This online field research was conducted using a quantitative approach with the discussion method.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the affairs that falls under the authority of the regional government of Bantul Regency is related to the affairs of the Implementation of Building Construction which is then regulated through Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2022 concerning Implementation of Building Construction. Regional regulations as written laws made based on the needs of the community must of course be adapted to societal developments and the legal politics of government administration. Therefore regional regulations require periodic evaluations to see the suitability of the regulated content material with developments in implementation in the community. This research focuses on what is the urgency of analysis and evaluation of Bantul Regency Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2022 concerning Implementation of Buildings, and how to analyze and evaluate the Bantul Regency Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2022 concerning Organization of Buildings. The research was carried out using the juridical-normative method with the laws and regulations approach, which was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research found that both formally and materially the content was in accordance with the sectoral law, namely Law Number 28 of 2002 and further provisions stipulated in PP No. 16 of 2021 concerning Regulations for Implementing Law Number 28 of 2002 concerning Buildings, but it seems that it is only a copy and paste of the two legal bases. For this reason, in order to avoid repetition or duplication of arrangements, it is necessary to make arrangements that take into account local needs and wisdom in Bantul.]]>

<![CDATA[Perawatan jenazah selama ini masih dianggap sebagai tugas seorang imam kampung ataupun kiyai saja, padahal dalam islam perawatan jenazah hukumnya fardlu kifayah, yang berarti bahwa apabila dalam satu kampuh sudah ada satu orang yang melakukan perawatan jenazah maka gugurlah kewajiban yang lain, namun apabila tidak ada satupun yang melakukan perawatan jenazah maka semua orang dalam satu kampong itu berdosa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat, terutama ibu-ibu pengajian mengenai pentingnya perawatan jenazah. Metode pengabdian dilakukan selama satu hari penuh dengan memberikan materi fiqih terkait bab jenazah sekaligus praktik perawatan jenazah. Hasil pengabdian terlihat bahwa ibu-ibu pengajian memahami arti pentingnya perawatan jenazah, dan terampil melakukan perawatan jenazah.]]>

<![CDATA[During the Covid-19 pandemic, every individual needs to understand that digital literacy is an important thing needed to be able to participate in the modern world and anticipate the spread of negative information during the Covid-19 pandemic. Digital literacy will create a social order with a critical-creative mindset and outlook. This paper offers the concept of a digital literacy movement that can be implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. The digital literacy movement that can be carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic is the family digital literacy movement and the community digital literacy movement. The literacy movement aims to improve critical, creative and positive thinking skills in using digital media in everyday life. One of the digital literacy is the use of moodle and the result is 95% effectiveness.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid 19 pandemic, which began to enter Indonesia since March 2020, has had a significant impact on the sustainability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The people's economy experienced a significant decline. MSMEs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta that rely on income from the tourism sector and shopping from nomads or immigrants, especially those who are studying, many then close their businesses due to the lack of transactions. The Government's policy that prohibits interaction to reduce the spread of Covid 19 forces the Regional Government to immediately make policy innovations to save the sustainability of MSMEs. This research identified a breakthrough by the Regional Government, in this case the DIY Cooperative and UKM Service in its efforts to save MSMEs, by launching the SiBakul Jogja Program (Information System for Development of Cooperatives and Business Actors in Jogja). What are the opportunities and obstacles in the future. The author conducted this research to provide input for improving SiBakul Jogja as a mainstay of UMKM in DIY. The author uses the interview method and the Secondary Data Analysis method, namely research from various types of documents such as books, papers, journals, news and so on.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of adolescent behavior is influenced by various factors of knowledge, attitude and exposure to sources of information. Conditions Adolescent sexual behavior is increasingly faced with exposure to pornography which continues to threaten, especially with easy access in various media to sources of pornography and the influence of association. This community service activity is carried out to increase knowledge and insight to students and teachers about the dangers of pornography in adolescent brain development. The activity was carried out using the counseling method for SMAN 1 Sungai Pinang students about the impacts and dangers of pornography using power point media. In addition, participants were given a leaflet containing a summary of the accompanying material. The activity was carried out for 30 participants in September 2022. The results of the activity had a positive impact on student knowledge after the assessment before (68) and after the activity (83.3), there was an average increase in student knowledge of 15.3%. The importance of increasing behavior in terms of knowledge and the presence of positive information on adolescent knowledge regarding the dangers of pornography is always being increased by involving health workers or related parties so that they can maintain adolescent behavior in a more positive direction.]]>

<![CDATA[Breast care is very important to expedite the process of removing milk. The benefits of breast care are to maintain cleanliness, especially on the nipples, prevent various diseases, strengthen the nipples, stimulate the milk glands in the breast so that milk production is more abundant and smooth, detect any abnormalities in the breast. milk dams, mastitis, and breast abscess. This shows that breast care is very important for the breastfeeding process (Rosyati, 2016). Implementation of activities is carried out with health promotion in the form of counseling to pregnant women and postpartum women or postpartum mothers at the Multiwahan Health Center. Counseling participants were pregnant women who checked their pregnancies and postpartum mothers who checked themselves or mothers who brought their babies for immunization to the Multivehicle Health Center then were collected in the waiting room and then given counseling about breast care by distributing leaflets and explaining counseling materials, and demonstrating how to do breast care using a breast phantom the participants listen, pay attention to the counseling material then do a debriefing.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service activities are carried out in the Small and Medium Industry (IKM), which is a home industry that has at least 4 workers and a maximum of 19 people. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing employees with an understanding of the importance of OSH at work and education on the proper and correct application of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at work, as well as providing training related to entrepreneurship development for additional income apart from income from making furniture, aspects taken in this community service activity is related to occupational safety management and also product marketing strategies in which business activities can continue to develop in the future by paying attention to and implementing supporting factors in carrying out business activities. Socialization, education and training activities are tailored to the problems and needs faced by partners. The method of implementing the activity consists of 5 stages, namely the initial stage of observation and identification of problems in the workplace environment, the second stage of socialization and education regarding the importance of OSH, the third stage of mentoring in the application of PPE in the field, the fourth stage of entrepreneurship program training for marketing managerial strategies. <![CDATA[One of the "skills" currently needed is language skills. The role of language is needed both in mastering communication technology and in interacting directly. The focus of this teaching activity is to increase interest in learning the language of the community around the Karang Anyar Village based on story books and teaching aids. The goal to be achieved is in order to increase interest in learning and improve language skills (soft skills). The results achieved are: 1. People understand more about the importance of learning languages since childhood. 2. Children will become familiar with the use of language. 3. Children will have readiness to enter association with various languages and cultures. Language itself begins to be introduced as early as possible to students before they turn 12 years old. Early childhood is a child in the age range of 2-7 years and is a golden period for developing language skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service activities are carried out at the Posbindu Seroja working area of the Mekarmukti Health Center, North Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency. This service activity is carried out with the aim of providing understanding to the public about hypertension and its non-pharmacological management by providing autogenic relaxation training methods with good/correct and directed techniques. Educational and training activities are tailored to the problems and needs faced by partners. The method of implementing community service activities starts from observing and identifying problems in the working area of the Mekarmukti Health Center. Community service activities are carried out in October - November 2022. The results of the community service activities are that participants participate in activities from start to finish with enthusiasm, respondents have knowledge and understand about hypertension and its non-pharmacological management, and participants are able to practice/demonstrate autogenic relaxation techniques correctly according to with that exemplified by the servant.]]>
