Abstract

Soil is the most important thing in development in the field of civil engineering. The bearing capacity of the soil is the ability of the soil to accept and withstand the load transmitted to the soil so that the structure above it does not fail due to poor soil structure. Wood sawdust is a waste of wood industry which has fiber where the fiber can increase the bearing capacity of the soil. This study used sawdust as an additive to the soil with the aim of increasing the carrying capacity of the soil by conducting experiments in the laboratory. This study uses several variants of the percentage of wood sawdust on resistance. The variants are native land, 18%, 20%, 22%, and 24% of 100% of the total percentage of land. From the results of research that has been carried out, it is obtained that the original soil properties index value is 35.89% water content, 2.68 specific gravity, 34.21% PI and soil filter analysis passes filter no.200 95.28%, then based on the uscs soil classification system classified as CH soil: inorganic clay with high plasticity, fat clay, the UCST test on the original soil yielded a value of 2.15 and for soils with a mixture of wood sawdust 2.90 kg/cm2 at a variation of 18%, 3.51 kg/cm2 at a variation of 20 %, 3.27 kg/cm2 at 22% variation, 3.02 kg/cm2 at 24% variation, which shows that there is an increase in UCST value from each variation, but the highest peak occurs at 20% variation.

Abstract

Reservoir Boulevard is part of the flood control system in the city of Kendari, like other areas in Indonesia. Wanggu Reservoir is located in Lepo Lepo Village, Baruga District, Kendari City. The reservoir has a storage volume of 267.142m3. danluas DAS wanggu 348,75 km2. This flood control reservoir functions to accommodate flood overflow from the Wanggu River when it rains with high intensity. So in this study to determine the capacity of the reservoir capacity from year to year, a design rain analysis was carried out with return periods of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 years. It is necessary to analyze the design rainfall to find out whether the reservoir can reduce flooding for up to 100 years or not. In the rain analysis this plan uses the log person type III method and the flood discharge analysis uses the Rational Method. From the research results, it was found that the flood discharge with a return period of 100 years is 9,670m3/the.

Abstract

The number of traffic accidents has increased every year, especially in Jambi City. One of the government's efforts to reduce the number of traffic accidents is to make regulations limiting speed in pedestrian areas, especially school areas. One of the speed limiters that is widely used is the rumble strip, especially in the SDN 206 area of Jambi City. This study analyzes the effect of Rumble Strips in reducing the speed of motorbikes and light vehicles. The results obtained for the speed of the motorbike before Rumble Strips was 38.24 km/hour while after Rumble Strips it was 23.81 km/hour and the resulting reduction value was 14.43 km/hour. The speed of light vehicles before Rumble Strips was 32.07 km/hour while after Rumble Strips was 22.75 km/hour and the resulting reduction value was 9.32 km/hour. The speed of light vehicles before Rumble Strips was 32.40 km/hour while after Rumble Strips was 17.07 km/hour and the resulting reduction value was 15.33 km/hour. So that from the results of the analysis it was found that motorcycles, light vehicles and heavy vehicles were able to reduce well.

Abstract

After switching flight paths in July 2019 for both domestic and international flights, Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung was replaced by West Java International Airport in Majalengka. In comparison to Husein Sastranegara Airport, several airlines operating at Kertajati Airport saw a drop in passenger traffic. A survey was carried out in this study using a questionnaire that was given to 113 participants. The statistical package for social science (SPSS) application and structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS will subsequently be used to process the survey results. Data analysis revealed that airport accessibility (AA), terminal facilities (TF), and customer value are all positively impacted by the characteristics that contribute to an improvement in customer satisfaction (CS) (CV). Airport Accessibility is by far the most important of these characteristics, which serve as the standards by which travelers select their flights, according to the poll. The calculation's outcome demonstrates that rcount exceeds rtable. Customer satisfaction (CS) R-Count 0.889 and R-Table 0.183, Terminal facilities (TF) R-Count 0.885 and R-Table 0.183, Service innovation (SI) 0.856 and R-Table 0.183, and Customer Value R-Calculate 0.926 and R-Table 0.183 are the results using SPSS for these variables. From the experimental findings, it can be inferred that the supply of different services and amenities at the airport affects consumer happiness.

Abstract

River is one of the water resources that is widely used to meet raw water needs. Along with changing conditions in the river basin, changes in land use and population growth make the river not function optimally as it should. One of the natural phenomena that threatens the existence of human life in several regions in Indonesia every time the rainy season enters it is sure to experience flooding, especially in the Jambi city area. This is due to the reduced capacity of the drainage cross-section so that with high rainfall it is no longer able to accommodate flood discharges resulting in overflow of water. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between the Sungai Putri flood discharge and Q25 and identify flood points and provide solutions to flood problems that occur in the river / or in the Sungai Putri Lake Sipin drainage, Jambi city. In this study, secondary data used for 10 years of rainfall and cross-sectional data of Putri River drainage. The results of the calculation of the planned flood discharge using the rational mononobe method Q2 = 18,695 m3/s, Q5 = 23,171 m3/s, Q10 = 26,397 m3/s, Q20 = 30,021 m3/s and Q25 = 30,804 m3/s. And the next step using the HAC-RAS 3.13 software. After being analyzed using software, the drainage point that cannot accommodate the incoming flow, it is necessary to redesign the Putri River so that it can accommodate the water capacity that occurs every year due to high rainfall.

Abstract

The terminal is one of the components of the transportation system that  has the main function as a temporary stop for public vehicles to raise and distribute passengers and goods to the final destination of a trip, as well as a place to monitor, control, regulate, and operate the passenger and goods transportation flow system, besides that it also serves to facilitate the flow of transportation or goods.  The existence of the terminal in Ujong Fatihah that has been built by the government does not seem to be well used, and it does not look like it.  In the information obtained, this terminal is not used because there is no handover between the provincial government and the local government. This study aims to examine the causes of damage to the Ujong Fatihah terminal in Nagan Raya Regency using a descriptive method,  and examine the availability of Ujong Fatihah terminal facilities using  the weighting method. From the results  of  field  observations  and observations on the  Ujong Fatiha terminal facility, the causes of the malfunction of this terminal are: lack of availability of service facilities  such as safety, security, reliability, equality, comfort, and convenience.   The condition of the main  facilities and existing supporting facilities has been damaged.

Abstract

The soil is the base layer of the construction that must have good carrying capacity. To find out the magnitude of the carrying capacity of the soil, one of them is using UCST (Unconfined Compressive Strength Test) testing. This study was conducted by taking soil samples in Olak Kemang Seberang Jambi City which is classified as fat clay soil. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of addition saw ash wood towards soil properties index values and UCST (Unconfined Compressive Test). The percentage of addition of saw ash wood used is 8%, 10%, 12%, and 14%. Based on the test results, changes in the value of the soil properties index experienced a peak at a percentage of 14%  for each test of moisture content, specific gravity, and atterberg. Based on the results of the UCST test conducted, the peak of the increase in the highest soil carrying capacity value at a percentage of 14% was 4.02 kg / cm2, an increase from the original soil UCST value of 2.15 kg / cm2.

Abstract

Concrete is a mixture of portland cement or hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water with or without additives, may contain other cementitious materials and other chemical additives, forming a solid, strong, and stable mass. The purpose of the study was to determine the compressive strength of concrete with a quality of fc' 21.7 MPa with a quality mixing method based on SNI 7656:2012 and with a mixing method based on the 2022 Unit Price Analysis (AHSP). The analytical method used in this study is an experimental method conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, Batanghari University. The results obtained several conclusions, namely (1) Based on the results of the compressive strength test of concrete, the compressive strength value at the age of 7,14,28 days using the SNI 7656:2012 method has increased. At the age of 28 days, the obtained characteristics meet the quality requirements (design compressive strength). The average compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7.14.28 days was obtained as follows: 18.16 MPa (SNI 7 Days), 20.62 MPa (SNI 14 Days), 22.14 MPa (SNI 28 Days). (2) Based on the results of the compressive strength test of concrete, the value of the compressive strength at the age of 7,14,28 days using the 2022 AHSP method has increased. At 28 days the nuts obtained meet the characteristics quality requirements (design compressive strength). The average compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7.14.28 days was obtained as follows: 24.83 MPa (AHSP 7 Days), 30.34 MPa (AHSP 14 Days), 25.09 MPa (AHSP 28 Days). (3) The mix design uses the reference standard of SNI 7656:2012 and AHSP 2022. Planning is carried out using research results that have been obtained from testing concrete stacking materials and the provisions stipulated by SNI 7656:2012 and AHSP 2022.

Abstract

One of the facilities that support air transportation is the airport. The airport functions as a node for aircraft movements, passengers are one of the important infrastructures that can be expected to accelerate the improvement of the community's economy. The runway is one of the important infrastructure in the airport. This study aims to plan the pavement thickness at Minangkabau International Airport for up to 20 years. The study used the FAA method, namely the FAARFIELD application. With a growth rate of passengers and aircraft movements of 4-10%, the resulting pavement thickness for the runway is 141.28 cm with a thickness of 15 for each surface, base and subbase course; 36.93; 89.34 cm. while for the taxiway pavement on the surface course it is divided into critical and non-critical areas of 8 and 5 cm.

Abstract

Construction project resources consist of several types including human resources, human resources are the only resources that have reason, feelings, desires, knowledge skills, encouragement, power and work. Construction services law No. 2 of 2017, requires that every construction worker working in the construction services sector is required to have a Work Competency Certificate. This study aims to examine the characteristics of human resources in construction services and analyze what factors influence so that HR does not have SKA/SKT in construction services. The method in this study is a quantitative method which has several stages, starting from the collection of primary data and secondary data. The sample studied is construction workers who work for companies that are members of the Perkindo regional board association, Jambi Province. The results of the research revealed that the characteristics of human resources who have SKA/SKT in construction services in Jambi City in terms of gender are dominated by men (83.36%), in terms of the latest education, it is dominated by undergraduates (83.36%). , in terms of age, it is dominated by the age of 26-35 years (36.36%), and in terms of length of work experience is dominated by 10 years (45.45%). While the most influencing factors so that construction HR does not have SKA/SKT are the following factors: SKA/SKT only requirements for Tender/SBU have an average value of 3.36, The number of requirements that must be met in making SKA/SKT has an average value of 3, 32, Does not guarantee an increase in wages/salaries if you have SKA/SKT, has an average score of 3.27.
