Abstract

The Oebobo Health Center in Kupang City is the health center that has the most UTI cases in women in 2021 with 38 cases compared to men with 27 cases. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a disease that is prone to occur in women, not only the elderly, but teenagers are also susceptible to UTI. The problem is a bad lifestyle such as the habit of holding back urination (BAK), not consuming enough water, the habit of changing underwear and pads, cleaning the intimate organs after urinating and defecating can trigger UTIs. This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle and cases of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) in women at the Oebobo Health Center in Kupang City in 2022. The type of research conducted was an analytic survey with a case control design. The sample consisted of 36 case samples selected using total sampling and 36 control samples selected using simple random sampling with a significance level of α=0.05. Data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi square statistical test. Each of the variables studied was tested using the chi square statistical test to determine the relationship with UTI disease variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between consuming water (p-value=0.0009, OR=17.286), holding urination (p-value=0.001, OR=6.250), changing pads (p-value=0.009, OR=4.086)) with UTI, while the habit of cleaning intimate organs after urinating and defecating (p-value=0.429), changing underwear (p-value=0.674) has no relationship with UTI. Suggestions for UTI sufferers and the public, especially women, to maintain a healthy lifestyle by reducing bad habits that trigger UTIs.

Abstract

Currently, there are still many maternal and child health problems, especially for vulnerable groups, such as groups of pregnant women, breastfeeding, postpartum women and newborns. This is a priority for the government, where the progress of a country is also calculated from the health of mothers and children. A healthy mother will give birth to the next generation of a healthy and productive nation. This study aims to analyze the quality of health services through the role of cadres on maternal and child health at Posyandu Mawar, Tuntungan I Village, Medan, North Sumatra. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, which describes the data that has been obtained and uses interview techniques and compares with theories in previous studies obtained from the Google Scholar database. In this study, the results showed that there were 3 roles of cadres in improving maternal and child health, namely socialization, counseling and assistance. The role of cadres in the village has been running smoothly, but researchers found obstacles experienced by cadres in improving the welfare and health of mothers and children. This is due to the lack of community participation in posyandu activities in the village. Thus, more in-depth socialization or counseling is needed so that people's interest can increase and increase their knowledge of maternal and child health.

Abstract

Retention is an activity to reduce medical record documents from storage shelves by moving inactive medical record documents from active file shelves to inactive file shelves by sorting them on storage shelves according to the year of visit. Inactive medical records are medical record documents that have reached 5 years and are never used again because the patient does not visit the hospital for treatment. This research method uses qualitative analysis. Based on observations and interviews at Medistra Hospital. Currently, the South Jakarta Medistra Hospital is carrying out retention of medical records, but it has not been completed due to a lack of medical record personnel, there is no distribution of retention scheduling and the large number of medical records has piled up, making it difficult for officers to carry out retention. Medistra Hospitals already have an active DRM In Retention/ Shrinkage SPO, but there is no special officer in the filling section who is also the distribution executor. Suggestions should the implementation of depreciation and destruction of medical records be carried out routinely and make a division of schedules for officers who will carry out the retention of inactive medical records..

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that cannot be cured but should be controlled, therefore complications will not occurred. Hypertension can be treated by pharmacologically and non-pharmacological intervention. One of the non-pharmacological intervention of hypertension is isometric handgrip exercise which involves pressing the muscles on the blood vessels and when the pressure is released it can stretch the blood vessels and lower blood pressure. This study aims to determine the effect of isometric handgrip exercise on systolic and diastolic blood pressure among stage 1 hypertensive patients. This is a quantitative research using a quasy experimental design with one group pretest-posttest approach. The population of this study were all employees of Mitra Siaga Hospital in Tegal with stage 1 hypertension. The sampling technique that used was a total sampling technique with a total of 50 respondents. The results of statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon sign rank test showed p-value 0.000 (<0.05), which means that the application of isometric handgrip exercise can reduce blood pressure of stage 1 hypertensive patient. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference in the management of hypertension, especially using isometric handgrip exercise as a non- pharmacological intervention for stage 1 hypertension which can be done independently.
