Scientific Journal of SOSIO AGRIBIS was first published in 2001 based on the Rector Decree University of Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya No. Kep. 36/UWKS/V/2001 dated on May 1st, 2001, with biannual frequency of publication, in July and December. This journal contains writings in the form of research articles and review related to agribusiness. With the name change on the study program of socio-economic into study program of agribusiness and in line with the up to date development, then in 2017 this journal changes by accommodating on-line publications without eliminating print publications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya perbedaan kepuasan pelanggan pada outlet Tomoro Coffee UPN dan Tomoro Coffee Tenggilis yang didekati oleh kelarisan sebuah outlet. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan pada kedua outlet Tomoro Coffee Surabaya tersebut, yang berfokus dengan 3 faktor: kualitas pelayanan, lokasi, dan manajemen waktu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deksriptif yang mana untuk mengetahui karakteristik pelanggan dan analisis SEM-PLS bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dari ketiga faktor signifikan mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan pada outlet Tomoro Coffee UPN dan Tomoro Coffee Tenggilis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel kualitas pelayanan dan lokasi di outlet UPN positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, sedangkan manajemen waktu negatif tidak signifikan. Variabel kualitas pelayanan pada outlet Tenggilis positif tidak signifikan, lokasi positif signifikan, dan manajemen waktu negatif tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Nilai R-Square pada outlet UPN sebesar 20.8% dan nilai R-Square pada outlet Tenggilis sebesar 26.7%. Dari nilai R-Square pada kedua outlet menunjukkan variabel yang diteliti dapat diterima. Penelitian ini mengharapkan kedua outlet Tomoro Coffee Surabaya tersebut dapat meningkatkan daya saing dengan memperhatikan tingkat pelayanan, lokasi, serta manajemen waktu guna mencapai kepuasan pelanggan dan mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis yang lebih optimal. This research is motivated by the differences in customer satisfaction at the Tomoro Coffee UPN and Tomoro Coffee Tenggilis outlets which are approached by the popularity of an outlet. This study analyzes the factors that influence the level of customer satisfaction at the two Tomoro Coffee Surabaya outlets, which focus on 3 factors: service quality, location, and time management. The research method used is descriptive analysis which is to determine customer characteristics and SEM-PLS analysis aims to determine whether the three significant factors influence customer satisfaction at the Tomoro Coffee UPN and Tomoro Coffee Tenggilis outlets. The results showed that the service quality and location variables at the UPN outlet were significantly positive towards customer satisfaction, while time management was not significant. The service quality variable at the Tenggilis outlet was not significant, the location was significant, and the time management was not significant towards customer satisfaction. The R-Square value at the UPN outlet was 20.8% and the R-Square value at the Tenggilis outlet was 26.7%. The R-Square value at both outlets showed that the variables studied were acceptable. This study expects that the two Tomoro Coffee Surabaya outlets can increase their competitiveness by paying attention to the level of service, location, and time management in order to achieve customer satisfaction and encourage more optimal business growth. Abstract

Petani memiliki berbagai persepsi tentang keberadaan PT. Agra Sawitindo karena ada banyak alasan, berbagai perspektif, dan berbagai faktor yang berkontribusi pada keberadaan PT. Agra Sawitindo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi petani terhadap keberadaan perkebunan kelapa sawit PT. Agra Sawitindo dan menganalisis faktor-faktor apa yang menjadi penentu persepsi petani terhadap keberadaan PT. Agra Sawitindo di Desa Ujung Karang Kecamatan Karang Tinggi Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan pengolahan data kuantatif digunakan; dalam hal ini, data kuisioner diolah menggunakan analisis Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa persepsi petani terhadap keberadaan perkebunan kelapa sawit (PT. Agra Sawitindo) secara keseluruhan memiliki tanggapan cendrung netral, yaitu 54,10%. Tiga kategori persepsi petani ini memberikan hasil persentase tertinggi, yaitu 44,26% untuk aspek lingkungan dan 54,10% untuk aspek ekonomi. Sementara faktor penentu persepsi petani terhadap keberadaan perkebunan kelapa sawit (PT. Agra Sawitindo) adalah pendapatan dan jarak tempat tinggal, faktor penentu umur, pendidikan, dan kosmopolitan tidak ada hubungannya, 45,90% dari petani, atau 28 petani, menganggap aspek sosial sebagai hal yang buruk. Kata kunci: Kelapa Sawit, Persepsi, Perkebunan, Keberadaan PT. Agra Sawitindo. Farmers have different perceptions about the existence of PT. Agra Sawitindo because there are many reasons, different perspectives, and various factors that contribute to the existence of PT. Agra Sawitindo. The purpose of this study was to analyze farmers' perceptions of the existence of PT. Agra Sawitindo's oil palm plantations and to analyze what factors determine farmers' perceptions of the existence of PT. Agra Sawitindo in Ujung Karang Village, Karang Tinggi District, Central Bengkulu Regency. Both quantitative descriptive analysis and quantitative data processing were applied; in this instance, Spearman Rank analysis was employed to process the questionnaire data. The study's findings showed that 54.10% of farmers had a neutral opinion toward the existence of oil palm plantations (PT. Agra Sawitindo) overall. The highest percentage results were obtained from these three areas of farmers' perceptions: 44.26% for the environmental component and 54.10% for the economic element. Although income and distance from home are the determining factors of farmers' perceptions of oil palm plantations (PT. Agra Sawitindo), age, education, and cosmopolitanism are unrelated. However, 45.90% of farmers, or 28 farmers, view the social aspect negatively. Keywords: Palm Oil, Perception, Plantation, Existence of PT. Agra Sawitindo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan harga terhadap kepuasan pelanggan sayur dan buah di Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan penjualan yang terjadi pada produk sayur dan buah di Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo yang diduga berkaitan dengan kualitas produk dan harga yang ditawarkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden yang merupakan pelanggan Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Harga juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kualitas produk dan penetapan harga yang kompetitif dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan yang pada akhirnya dapat mendorong peningkatan penjualan produk sayur dan buah di Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pihak manajemen dalam menyusun strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and price on customer satisfaction for vegetables and fruits at Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. This research is motivated by a decline in sales of vegetables and fruits at Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo, which is suspected to be related to the product quality and pricing offered. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are customers of Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. Data analysis techniques used Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Price also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. These findings indicate that improving product quality and setting competitive prices can increase customer satisfaction, which in turn can encourage increased sales of vegetable and fruit products at Lotte Grosir Waru Sidoarjo. This study is expected to serve as a consideration for management in formulating appropriate marketing strategies to maintain and enhance customer loyalty. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kualitas Produk dan Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian minuman varian susu di Kedai Lab Milk Candi Sidoarjo. Dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan metpde pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan  accidental sampling, dimana sampel yang dipilih secara sengaja dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden sebanyak 56 responden. Data yang digunakan di penelitian ini data primer dan data sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analisa data SEM-PLS dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Analisa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas Produk dan Kualitas Pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. This study aims to analyze the effect of Product Quality and Service Quality on Purchase Decisions for milk variant drinks at Kedai Lab Milk Candi Sidoarjo. This study uses a non-probability sampling method with an accidental sampling approach, where the sample is selected intentionally by distributing questionnaires to 56 respondents. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study uses the SEM-PLS data analysis method using Smart PLS software. The data analysis techniques used are validity test analysis, reliability test and multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that Product Quality and Service Quality have a positive and significant influence on Purchase Decisions. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produksi getah karet di Desa Tanjung Anom, Kecamatan Terusan Nunyai, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Sebanyak 60 petani karet dipilih secara purposive sampling sebagai responden. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah luas lahan (X₁), umur tanaman (X₂), dan tenaga kerja (X₃), sedangkan variabel dependen adalah produksi getah karet (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi getah karet, sedangkan umur tanaman tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,953 menunjukkan bahwa 95,3% variasi produksi dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel independen tersebut. Model regresi juga telah memenuhi asumsi klasik, seperti normalitas, homoskedastisitas, tidak terjadi multikolinearitas, dan linearitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi penggunaan lahan dan pengelolaan tenaga kerja yang efektif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kebun karet rakyat. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing rubber latex production in Tanjung Anom Village, Terusan Nunyai District, Central Lampung Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. A total of 60 rubber farmers were selected by purposive sampling as respondents. The independent variables in this study were land area (X₁), plant age (X₂), and labor (X₃), while the dependent variable was rubber latex production (Y). The results showed that land area and labor had a positive and significant effect on rubber latex production, while plant age did not have a significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.953 indicates that 95.3% of production variation can be explained by the three independent variables. The regression model also met classical assumptions, such as normality, homoscedasticity, absence of multicollinearity, and linearity. These findings indicate that optimizing land use and effective labor management are crucial to increasing the productivity of smallholder rubber plantations. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen di Eustacio Coffee Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh meningkatnya tren konsumsi kopi dan pertumbuhan bisnis kedai kopi di kota-kota besar, termasuk Surabaya. Kualitas produk dan pelayanan menjadi dua faktor utama yang memengaruhi loyalitas dan kepuasan pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang merupakan konsumen aktif Eustacio Coffee. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, sedangkan kualitas pelayanan juga berpengaruh secara signifikan meskipun lebih rendah dibandingkan kualitas produk. Indikator yang paling dominan dari kualitas produk adalah kelengkapan variasi menu, sedangkan dari kualitas pelayanan adalah daya tanggap karyawan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, pihak Eustacio Coffee diharapkan dapat mempertahankan kualitas produknya dan meningkatkan aspek pelayanan, khususnya dalam hal empati dan bukti fisik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi sebagai acuan bagi pengusaha kedai kopi dalam menyusun strategi peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan yang berkelanjutan. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at Eustacio Coffee Surabaya. The research background is based on the increasing trend of coffee consumption and the growth of coffee shop businesses in major cities, including Surabaya. Product and service quality are two primary factors that influence customer loyalty and satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach and analysis using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who are active consumers of Eustacio Coffee. The results show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while service quality also has a significant effect, although to a lesser degree than product quality. The most dominant indicator of product quality is the completeness of the product variation, while for service quality, responsiveness of staff is the most notable. Based on these findings, Eustacio Coffee is expected to maintain its product quality and improve service aspects, especially in empathy and physical evidence. This research provides a reference for coffee shop entrepreneurs in developing sustainable strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction. Abstract

Konversi lahan pertanian merupakan isu utama yang dihadapi sektor pertanian Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konversi lahan pertanian di Kecamatan Candi, Kabupaten Sidoarjo—sebuah wilayah peri-urban yang menghadapi tekanan pembangunan dan pertumbuhan penduduk yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengkaji tren konversi lahan, (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, dan (3) mengidentifikasi dampak sosial-ekonomi terhadap petani yang lahannya telah dikonversi. Pendekatan survei kuantitatif diterapkan pada 30 responden petani dari empat desa, yang dipilih secara snowball sampling berdasarkan kriteria telah menjual sawah mereka. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tren eksponensial, regresi linier berganda, dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konversi lahan di Kecamatan Candi telah terjadi secara signifikan, ditandai dengan penurunan luas lahan sawah yang terus menerus. Faktor-faktor yang secara signifikan memengaruhi konversi lahan meliputi tingkat pendidikan petani, modal usaha tani, pendapatan usaha tani, dan kebutuhan mendesak akan uang. Sementara itu, variabel seperti usia petani, sistem pewarisan, dan jumlah tanggungan tidak terbukti berdampak signifikan. Dampak sosial-ekonomi yang dialami petani meliputi penurunan pendapatan dari sektor pertanian dan peralihan ke sektor informal. Kata kunci:  Konversi Lahan, Petani, Dampak Sosial Ekonomi. Agricultural land conversion is a major issue facing Indonesia's agricultural sector. This study aims to analyze agricultural land conversion in Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency—a peri-urban area facing development pressures and high population growth. The research objectives were to: (1) examine land conversion trends, (2) analyze the factors influencing them, and (3) identify the socio-economic impacts on farmers whose land has been converted. A quantitative survey approach was applied to 30 farmer respondents from four villages, selected using snowball sampling based on the criteria of having sold their rice fields. Data were analyzed using exponential trend analysis, multiple linear regression, and descriptive statistics. The results revealed that land conversion in Candi District has occurred significantly, marked by a continuous decline in rice field area. Factors significantly influencing land conversion include farmer education level, farming capital, farming income, and urgent need for money. Meanwhile, variables such as farmer age, inheritance system, and number of dependents were not shown to have a significant impact. The socio-economic impacts experienced by farmers include decreased income from the agricultural sector and a shift to the informal sector. Keywords: Land Conversion, Farmers, Sosio-economic impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan Urban farming yang dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (DKPP) Kota Surabaya melalui identifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal, serta pemilihan strategi prioritas berbasis SWOT dan QSPM. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara kepada 12 responden yang terdiri atas petani binaan dan pegawai DKPP. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa DKPP memiliki kekuatan internal seperti kompetensi SDM dan pelatihan yang efektif, serta peluang eksternal berupa dukungan pemerintah dan potensi kerja sama kelembagaan. Hasil matriks IFAS dan EFAS menunjukkan posisi strategis DKPP berada di Kuadran I (growth strategy), yang merekomendasikan strategi agresif untuk mendukung pengembangan Urban farming secara berkelanjutan. Strategi prioritas yang dipilih berdasarkan hasil QSPM adalah strategi SO1, yaitu memperluas kerja sama dengan institusi pendidikan dan komunitas berbasis pelatihan dan kompetensi SDM DKPP, dengan skor Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) tertinggi sebesar 2,68. Strategi ini dianggap paling sesuai untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan lokal dan menjadikan Urban farming sebagai solusi adaptif dalam menghadapi tantangan urbanisasi di Surabaya. This study aims to formulate development strategies for Urban farming programs implemented by the Food Security and Agriculture Service (DKPP) of Surabaya City by identifying internal and external factors and selecting strategic priorities based on SWOT and QSPM analysis. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews involving 12 respondents consisting of urban farmer groups and DKPP staff. The results indicate that DKPP possesses strong internal capacities, such as competent human resources and effective training, as well as external opportunities including government support and potential institutional partnerships. The IFAS and EFAS matrices place DKPP in Quadrant I (growth strategy), suggesting the implementation of aggressive strategies to sustainably develop Urban farming. The QSPM analysis identified SO1 as the top-priority strategy: expanding collaboration with educational institutions and communities based on training and DKPP’s human resource competencies, with the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 2.68. This strategy is considered the most appropriate to strengthen local food security and position Urban farming as an adaptive solution to the challenges of urbanization in Surabaya. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh teknologi digital dan modal sosial terhadap daya saing agrowisata, dengan bauran pemasaran (7P) sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Studi kuantitatif dilakukan di Desa Ketapanrame, Mojokerto, menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 30 pengelola agrowisata. Data dianalisis dengan PLS-SEM. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital dan modal sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing. Bauran pemasaran terbukti memperkuat (memoderasi) hubungan kedua variabel tersebut terhadap daya saing. Temuan ini menekankan bahwa pengembangan agrowisata memerlukan integrasi strategi digital, pemanfaatan jejaring sosial, dan penerapan bauran pemasaran yang tepat. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis pada model pemasaran pariwisata berbasis masyarakat serta rekomendasi praktis bagi pengelola untuk meningkatkan daya saing secara berkelanjutan. This study analyzes the influence of digital technology and social capital on agrotourism competitiveness, with the marketing mix (7Ps) as a moderating variable. A quantitative study was conducted in Ketapanrame Village, Mojokerto, using a questionnaire with 30 agrotourism managers. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that digital technology and social capital had a positive and significant effect on competitiveness. The marketing mix was proven to strengthen (moderate) the relationship between the two variables on competitiveness. These findings emphasize that agrotourism development requires the integration of digital strategies, the utilization of social networks, and the implementation of an appropriate marketing mix. This study provides theoretical contributions to the community-based tourism marketing model as well as practical recommendations for managers to increase competitiveness sustainably. Abstract

Pengembangan pertanian merupakan kunci bagi ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan petani di Indonesia. Strategi utama pemerintah adalah memperkuat kelembagaan petani melalui Gapoktan. Namun, pengembangan Gapoktan di Kecamatan Ngasem, Bojonegoro, menghadapi tantangan seperti akses modal dan teknologi terbatas, SDM lemah, serta koordinasi dan pasar yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis peran penyuluh pertanian, 2) Menguji pengaruh setiap peran spesifik mereka, 3) Mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung, 4) Mengidentifikasi hambatan, dan 5) Merumuskan upaya strategis. Metode campuran digunakan dengan 60 responden yang dipilih secara purposive dan acak sederhana. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Penyuluh berperan sebagai inovator, fasilitator, motivator, penggerak, dan edukator, 2) Peran sebagai inovator, fasilitator, motivator, dan edukator berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan Gapoktan, 3) Faktor pendukung utama adalah dukungan pemerintah daerah dan ketersediaan fasilitas penyuluhan, 4) Hambatan utama meliputi infrastruktur tidak memadai dan motivasi anggota yang rendah, 5) Rekomendasi strategis mencakup pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan dan penguatan koordinasi antar pemangku kepentingan. Kata kunci: Peran Penyuluh Pertanian; Pengembangan Gapoktan; Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Agricultural development is key to food security and farmer welfare in Indonesia. The government's primary strategy is to strengthen farmer institutions through farmer groups (Gapoktan). However, the development of Gapoktan in Ngasem District, Bojonegoro, faces challenges such as limited access to capital and technology, weak human resources, and suboptimal coordination and markets. This study aims to: 1) Analyze the role of agricultural extension workers, 2) Test the influence of each of their specific roles, 3) Identify supporting factors, 4) Identify barriers, and 5) Formulate strategic efforts. A mixed method was used with 60 respondents selected purposively and randomly. Data were analyzed using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that: 1) Extension workers act as innovators, facilitators, motivators, movers, and educators, 2) The role as innovators, facilitators, motivators, and educators has a significant influence on the success of Gapoktan, 3) The main supporting factors are local government support and the availability of extension facilities, 4) The main obstacles include inadequate infrastructure and low member motivation, 5) Strategic recommendations include the development of sustainable competencies and strengthening coordination between stakeholders.
