Abstract

This paper analyzes the use of hijab which is a trend now among teenagers in high school. This article will explain the differences between public schools and Islamic based schools. This study is important to see how the role of hijab trends in schools is used by students. Specifically, this article will address the following questions. Why girls hijab? What kind of model is used by schoolgirls like? What is the role of the school to educate students in the use of the hijab. Methodologically, the data for this article is sourced from field study research in several high school / vocational schools located in Pekanbaru. The author will ask several questions relating to the discussion that the writer will do. This article is analyzed with a number of literatures that are relevant to this research topic. The results of the study show that students who attend public schools attend schools that use the hijab. And in using hijab, it's very different. In the role of the school also differs between public schools and Islamic based schools. Starting in terms of regulations to how to educate students to use the hijab.

Abstract

Since year 569 M, da’wah character has been organized around the exchange paradigm. Da’wah character for postindependence period, was faced with the life of Islam history which had been confessed as a cultural power. The concepts apply to all forms of exchange, as Al-Qur’an is compatible to all centenaries and places. Whether it is communicated by speaking efforts (bi al-lisan), writing (bi al-qalam), or by doing (bi al-hal). Da’wah character paradigm evolved from a verbal-conventional oriented view, physical efforts, and to expand to the highest network level of information technology system called neurotechnology. This paper use a literatur studies from the references that relevances with this theme. Theoretically, this article is developing of a three-tiered discourses of the emerging field of da’wah characters are explored - its sub phenomenon (Muslim sensory models), its phenomenon (da’wah character networks), and its super phenomenon (sustainability and development). The result of this article that consequently the relational theories have come to the fore. But even as the field struggles to grasp its new fields of explanation, there is a paradigm shift happening at its boundaries. The shift significantly integrates the da’wah character worldview by the theoretical tools and methodologies in frame syummuliyah and ‘alamiyah and based on Al-Qur’an and hadist (rabbaniyah), absolutly.

Abstract

The study of hyperpersonal communication behavior of Muslim couples through online love comes from observing the phenomenon of the activities of internet users of different sexes who interact socially, intensely, romance, even intimate even though they are not married. Despite the prohibition of Islamic religion about dating, problems have been found, that chat rooms on Facebook and Whastapp have indicated that love relationships are easier and more open than real life, often without barriers or religious norms, social status, education, physical differences, state , marital status, and age. In addition, online love has made it easy for people to find a partner (jodo), whether religious or not, can be used as an affair media for couples whose marital life is in disarray, and a media for disloyal acts to their partners. The approach used is Social Hermeneutics, Hyperpersonal Communication theory and the concept of Islamic relations. The methodology used by the communication mediated computer (CMC) method through online interviews of online couples in love in various characteristics and patterns of interaction or communication The results of the study suggest that in hyper-personal communication, Muslim couples through cyberlovers on Facebook and Watsapp construct self-presentation, self-attribution, and communication intensification. to his partner. These Muslim couples can play a role as selective senders, but they lack control over non-religious communication. As recipients, couples are less able to be balancing and adjusting their communication. In the channel, the pairs communicate asynchronously and synchronously where the informants send each other "intensive messages" or continuously without space and time. However, the nature of this online couple's relationship is not in accordance with the ta'aruf, khitbah and ghasiyah nau frame contained in Islamic values.

Abstract

The 2019 Presidential Debate contained in the Qur'an about the Jadal verses through the Dialectic Communication perspective also by studying more deeply and philosophically. This discussion leads the author to discuss the science of communication and the Qur'an with stories and history in a special discussion: about the schedule that arises due to the "message" that comes after there is news of a saliha woman opened by Khaulah bint Tsa'labah; about the Qur'an quoting itself in discussions with the dialectic of the Jadal concept through forms of communication (guidance and revelation) conveyed to the Apostles and humans on earth; The Muslim Ummah needs the Qur'an from an oral tradition that is moving towards the written tradition (the tabi'in, Islamic scholars and thinkers and so on) in analyzing Jadal, where the classical tradition would never be expected. Next schedule; about the form of Jadal in the Al-Qur'an needs to be reviewed transmitted and transformed in the present and future context, such as in the contestation of the Presidential Debate, Pilgub, Pilkada, even in social, cultural, ideological, and religious (Islamic) discourses. Through literature study methods with thematic analysis understanding Jadal in the Qur'an can be analyzed in a complete and objective manner. The implication, as part of the science of communication in the frame of the Qur'an, Jadal understanding has a strong significance because it can enlighten human insight into morality morals.

Abstract

Methods and discussing Islamic da'wah in Indonesia are increasingly diverse and always interesting to study, because da'wah besides implementing Muslims in the implication of God's messages to His servants is also a deedification or concept that develops the development of the times. However, this research is more interested in traditional and conventional da'wah research carried out with heredity (inheritance) from the founder for his successors, such as in NTT Province especially in the Amarasi Kupang community, as the Da'wah Old Ham ". Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discuss the culture of propaganda in Nu Ham Tua 'in Amarasi, NTT through the discovery of Communication Ethnography. Regarding the short definition, Communication Ethnography is a temporary theory for exporting and describing certain values, cultures, customs, communities through communication (verbal and verbal) through the principle of SPEAKING. Selected speakers are leaders, members and cultural communities, Nu Ham Tua, participants and interviews, and data as validity. The results of the study describe the culture of Nu Ham Tua 'discussing the typical and very thick blend of Timorese (indigenous) and Arabic (as immigrant tribe) cultures, seen in instruments (verbal using native language, Amarasi and others combined with Arabic and nonverbal it looks like Arabic culture (embracing each other, kissing a muhrim friend when meeting), and mutual cooperation is also a deliberation that accepts the indigenous culture of Indonesia. So, the Nu Ham Tua 'genre can be called Da'wah based on local wisdom.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the opinions of influencers in netizen conversations on Twitter regarding religious moderation. The research uses public opinion, agenda setting models, and the spiral of silence to analyze opinions and topics discussed by Mega influencers, Macro influencers, Micro influencers, and Nano influencers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive content analysis method. Research data obtained using NVivo with the keyword religious moderation. Research results: Most of the public opinion of influencers on twitter are positive. In the account of the nano-influencer, 11 accounts have a negative tone, and 1 account has a neutral tone regarding religious moderation. This study concludes that religious moderation is a government agenda that is socialized through the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and all its staff. The parties who have different opinions, only a small part express their disapproval of the religious moderation program through Twitter.

Abstract

his study aims to explore and analyze the ethical problems of communication between Indonesian political actors on social media (via news on detik.com.kompas.com, CNN.com) which indicate "violation" of norms and values ​​of Indonesian society and Islam. The perspective used is the deontological ethical theory from the West and the ethical approach to Islamic communication which is sourced from the Qur'an and hadith as well as qiyas and ijtima. The methodology implemented is CMC (computer mediated communication) to explore news and utterances that tend to have a communication ethic tendency to the three Indonesian political actors who most often have problems with public ethics. The data was obtained through texts in online media, observations of experts, and online interviews with netizens who responded to the problems of communication ethics of the political actors studied. The findings explain that political actors in Indonesia who appear on social media or are reported on online media are often not in accordance with communication ethics, especially those with Islamic principles, such as: hiwar (dialectically arguing with each other), jidal (arguing with clear sources and reaching positive agreement), tawashi (instructing each other in the truth), tabsyir (can create a happy communication space), maw'izah (compassionate love), and indzar (reminding each other to do good and right), not with a conflict approach and create disintegration.

Abstract

Majalah Tempo adalah salah satu media yang berada di barisan ‘penyayang’ Jokowi. Majalah Tempo memrogandakan Jokowi pada pemilu 2014 sebagai pria bersahaja dan hobi blusukan. Ini didasarkan oleh jumlah durasi, frekuensi, dan kecenderungan objek pemberitaannya pada Jokowi. Citra Jokowi yang semula positif khususnya saat kampanye Pilpres 2014 berlangsung, seketika berubah setelah Jokowi berstatus sebagai presiden dalam pemberitaan Majalah Tempo. Hal ini terbukti Majalah Tempo mendukung Jokowi ketika Pilpres 2014 karena berdasarkan ideologi yang dianutnya bahwa Prabowo Subianto sebagai penjahat HAM. Pada edisi 5-11 Agustus 2013 Majalah Tempo memberi judul “Mendadak Jokowi” dengan gambar Jokowi yang sedang bernyanyi di sampulnya. Tendensi ini merupakan bentuk kegagalan Majalah Tempo menjadi media yang berimbang. Majalah Tempo memilih isu, memakai angle, dan memuat 11 dari 20 total Laporan Utama dengan teknik propaganda glittering generalities. Teori yang dipakai dari Branston dan Stafford (2003: 117-133) yaitu marxist approaches, post-marxism and critical pluralism, dan discourses and lived culture. Konsep yang relevan adalah mukhtalif, kabilah, dan al-hadarah. Pemberitaan Majalah Tempo memicu polarisasi, terlihat dari konsentrasi dalam arus politik dan ideologinya. Adanya pemberitaan ini sebagai pesan politik yang lebih efektif memunculkan isu pada publik

Abstract

This research focuses on optimizing religious moderation messages through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on NU Online, an Islamic website platform in Indonesia. Using a constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores howreligious moderation messages are constructed and disseminated through ComputerMediated Communication (CMC) and SEO. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with a specific analysis on the popular article titled "Moderation of Religion and Its Urgency" on NU Online. The results show that NU Online has effectively implemented keyword research and On-Page SEO but is lacking in Off-Page SEO implementation. This indicates that the religious moderation messages are not yet fully optimized on this website. These findings underscore the importance of comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance the visibility and dissemination of religious moderation messages. The study recommends increasing the use of Off-Page SEO on Islamic websites. This includes the development of models or practical guides to optimize online religious content, encompassing aspects of keyword research, inclusive content, and effective campaign strategies. These implications are crucial for expanding the reach and impact of religious moderation messages, especially in the current digital era. The study also opens opportunities for further research on the influence of SEO on the dissemination of religious messages on the internet. The implementation of effective SEO strategies is expected to enhance the effectiveness of disseminating religious moderation messages through NU Online and other Islamic websitesin Indonesia.

Abstract

Dakwah dan kebebasan beragama menjadi problem tersendiri dalam kehidupan sosial. Terutama setelah masuknya pemikiran-pemikiran yang datang dari luar Islam. Untuk itu, penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman teologis tentang implementasi dakwah dalam ranah kebebasan beragama. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mencoba menjawab beberapa pertanyaan: Pertama, bagaimana konsep Islam dan kebebasan beragama yang tertuang dalam QS Al Baqarah, 256. Kedua, bagaimana pengaturan Islam terhadap umat agama lain dalam konteks masyarakat Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Islam adalah agama dakwah namun melarang setiap muslim memaksa non muslim untuk masuk ke dalam Islam. (2) Islam mengenal istilah kafir dzimmi dan kafir muahad untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang damai antarsesama manusia. (3) Konsep hubungan Islam dan agama lain memiliki beberapa hikmah; terciptanya hubungan antarmuslim dan selain Islam serta terjaganya akidah Islam.
