Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagimana manajemen waktu belajar pada remaja pengunjung coffee shop di desa Merek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang pengunjung rutin di 2 coffee shop yang berusia 13-18 tahun di desa Merek Kecamatan Merek Kabupaten Karo. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat aspek manajemen waktu belajar, diantaranya yaitu : 1) membuat rencana, dimana sudah terdapat remaja pengunjung coffee shop yang membuat rencana kegiatan akan tetapi belum terlaksana dengan maksimal 2) menyusun jadwal, remaja pengunjung coffee shop sudah menyusun jadwal dengan baik sebelum melakukan kegiatan. 3) menetapkan prioritas, remaja pengunjung coffee shop sudah mampu menetapkan prioritas dengan baik, hal ini dikarenakan remaja mengutamakan menyelesaikan tugas sekolah terlebih dahulu. 4) menghindari penundaan, pada aspek ini, remaja belum mampu menghindari penundaan dengan baik, dikarenakan mayoritas remaja pengunjung coffee shop masih menunda mengerjakan tugas sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambat manajemen waktu belajar pada remaja pengunjung coffee shop adalah karena remaja yang suka memilih-milih tugas mana yang akan diselesaikan terlebih dahulu, selain itu remaja cenderung menunggu deadline dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya.

Abstract

This research has a background on the importance of literacy education in cultivating and developing reading, writing, arithmetic and language skills as an effort to improve the quality of life. This study aims to determine whether the use of audio-visual media can improve early literacy skills in early childhood in the Sukaraja Environment, Medan City. The research method in this research is descriptive research method. The author takes the location, namely in Medan Maimun District, Medan City. This study uses a qualitative approach. Based on the findings obtained from observations made and also interviews with several respondents, it was stated that early literacy in children was still lacking and interest in learning from children was still relatively low. Then in this study the learning process was carried out using audiovisual media to analyze whether the use of media would affect children's abilities. From the results of the activity it can also be concluded that learning media is important for the learning process, creative learning media will generate high interest in learning and from this interest, the learning process can be said to be perfect when the participation of enthusiastic learning citizens in the process and knowledge of students can be trained and focused on learning materials.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of online learning applications and the consumptive lifestyle of students majoring in community education. This type of research is descriptive correlation. Correlation descriptive research is a way to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables without making additional changes and manipulation of existing data. The location of this research is in the Public Education Department of Medan State University. When this research was conducted from October 2022 to December 2022. The sample for this research was 35 students. Based on the product moment correlation analysis, there is a positive and significant relationship between consumptive lifestyle (Y) on the use of online shopping applications (X). Thus the price of rcount > rtable is 0.57 > 0.27. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the use of online shopping applications and the consumptive lifestyle of students in the Public Education Department, Medan State University. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained Kd = r^2 x 100% = ?(0.323)?^2 x 100% = 10.43% The consumptive lifestyle of students in the public education department is influenced by the use of online learning applications, the remaining 89.57% is influenced by other variables. Abstract

The evolution of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia signifies a fundamental transformation in their approaches to organizational management and leadership. Historically, the pesantren structure has revolved around the figure of the kyai, who embodies spiritual authority, educational leadership, and managerial control. The kyai’s influence, rooted in personal charisma and moral integrity, has long served as the cornerstone of pesantren governance. In the face of modernization and globalization, however, traditional leadership models have been increasingly challenged by the demand for more systematic, transparent, and participatory management practices. The need to enhance institutional accountability, administrative efficiency, and educational quality has driven many pesantren to adopt modern organizational frameworks while striving to maintain their distinctive spiritual ethos. This study aims to examine the ongoing transformation in organizational structures and leadership patterns of kyai in managing pesantren within the context of contemporary education. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and field observations conducted at several pesantren representing diverse typologies and managerial orientations. The findings reveal a gradual yet notable shift from a purely charismatic and centralized leadership model toward a more collaborative and distributed governance structure. Although the kyai continues to serve as the symbolic and spiritual leader, decision-making processes increasingly involve administrators, teachers, and community stakeholders. Structural reforms include clearer delegation of authority, the formation of specialized management units, and the implementation of modern administrative systems. Despite these managerial innovations, pesantren remain deeply rooted in their spiritual and cultural values, which continue to shape institutional identity and guide organizational behavior. The study concludes that pesantren have successfully harmonized traditional religious leadership principles with contemporary management concepts, thereby reinforcing their relevance and sustainability in the modern educational landscape.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kembali konsep Community-Based Tourism (CBT) dalam kerangka pembangunan berkelanjutan dan keadilan sosial, serta menjelaskan peran pendidikan nonformal dalam memperkuat kapasitas komunitas untuk mengelola pariwisata berbasis komunitas secara mandiri. Menggunakan metode kajian literatur terhadap publikasi ilmiah terindeks dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana CBT, pendidikan nonformal, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat terintegrasi dalam praktik pembangunan lokal. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan CBT sangat dipengaruhi oleh partisipasi warga, tata kelola komunitas, dan kapasitas sosial-ekonomi yang diperkuat melalui pendidikan nonformal. Selain itu, integrasi ketiga komponen tersebut menghasilkan model pembangunan lokal yang lebih inklusif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan nonformal merupakan pilar strategis yang memastikan keberlanjutan dan keadilan dalam implementasi CBT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan konsep pembelajaran sistem among yang dicetuskan oleh Ki Hajar Dewantara. Pendidikan sistem among dilaksanakan dengan 3 cara yaitu: Ing Ngarso Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systemic Reviews and Meta Analysis. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui analisis tujuh literature terkait penerapan sistem among dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa konsep sistem among menekankan pembelajaran yang memberikan siswa kebebasan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, menyampaikan pendapat, dan menerima pendapat oranglain dengan penuh tanggungjawab. Pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan pemberian contoh nyata kepada siswa baik dalam pembelajaran mauun di luar pembelajaran. Konsep sistem among ini sejalan dengan teori konstruktivisme John Dewey dimana siswa membangun pemahamannya sendiri dari hasil pelajarannya, bukan karena disampaikan atau diajarkan.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia have an important role in educating students, no only in the field of religion, but also in developing skills practical and relevant to the needs of the times. This paper aims to explore how cooperatives can be implemented in education in Islamic boarding schools and their impact on the skills and character of students. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, which examines various things literature and case studies regarding cooperatives in Islamic boarding schools. Hence, paper It recommends that Islamic boarding schools increase collaboration with cooperatives and developing a more relevant curriculum to help students become better prepared to face the world of work and life in society.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' initial reading skills. Based on the problems that occur, it is known that students are still unable to pronounce clearly consonant letters (R, S, L) and combinations of letters (Ng, Ny, Sy). This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the integrated global method of the make a match learning model on the beginning reading skills of class II students. This research uses quantitative research methods with the Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest Posttest Design research type. The results of the research show that the integrated global method, the make a match learning model, has an effect on the beginning reading skills of class II students. Judging from the results of the hypothesis test obtained from the paired sample test with a value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be said that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this, it can be concluded that the integrated global method, the make a match learning model, has an influence on the beginning reading skills of class II students at SD Negeri 7 Pangkalanbaru.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of short story material. Because the learning process still uses the lecture method when delivering learning materials, varied and innovative learning models and media have not been applied. The goal of this study was to find out how the STAD learning model, which includes spinning wheel media, helped students in class V SDN 3 Riau Silipunderstand what they were learning about short stories. The research method used is the pre-experimental design method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample collection technique is saturated sampling and the data collection technique is a test. The data analysis technique uses a normality test in the form of a Saphiro Wilk test and a hypothesis test using a paired sample T-test. Based on the results of the study, the normality test on the pretest with sig. of 0.527> 0.05 and posttest of 0.385> 0.05, so the data is normally distributed. The results of the hypothesis test using the paired sample T-Test with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the STAD learning model assisted by spinning wheel media has an effect on students' understanding of short story material in grade V of SDN 3 Riau Silip.
