Abstract

One of the four essential skills that must be learned is writing ability. The majority of junior high school students struggled with their writing abilities. The purpose of the current study was to ascertain if classroom action research may increase PPP among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar during the academic year 2022–2023. The pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire were the researcher's instruments for achieving the goal of the current study. Pre-test results from the pre-cycle indicated that the subject's writing abilities were good, mainly descriptive paragraphs. The current classroom action research was subsequently completed using PPP. The second session's post-test I result revealed that the subject had made less progress than the previous pre-test. The results of the post-test II from the previous session also demonstrated significant improvement in the subject's writing abilities, which went from a decent level to an excellent one. Additionally, this study demonstrated that learning behaviour had changed because of the technique's success in enhancing the subject's writing abilities. In conclusion, the current classroom action research demonstrated that PPP might enhance the writing abilities of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar in the academic year 2022–2023. The subjects also gave positive responses. Keywords: Implementation, Writing, PPP

Abstract

Scarcity of clean water is one of the main problems in several regions in Indonesia. One of the causes of water scarcity is the availability of raw water sources that are less fulfilling human needs. Raw water with quality, quantity, continuity and affordability are needed as population growth continues to increase. In some areas experiencing water crises, water shortages have occurred almost every year. Thus, the availability of sources of raw water is very important in providing clean water for the community. Selection of the source of raw water for drinking must be qualified in terms of quantity, quality, continuity and affordability (accessibility). Raw water management tailored to the type of raw water used. Raw water sampling conducted using raw water unit building, namely intake, broundcaptering, wells and rainwater. Protection of raw water sources to do with the division of water protection zones that are based with the health and biological factors. Preparation of Raw Water Master Plan has also become one of the solutions for the protection of raw water and mapping potential sources of raw water.

Testing the validity of the data by reducing the data, explaining the data, and drawing conclusions. This research produces data related to the problems experienced in implementing MBKM, namely 1) Limited human resources (lecturers and support staff) to guide and accompany students optimally in organizing study time. The ratio of lecturers and students is not appropriate. 2) Limited supporting infrastructure for the Independent Learning program such as laboratories, libraries and other supporting facilities. 3) Student independence is still low in organizing study time effectively and efficiently according to the expected competencies. 4) Lack of flexible curriculum readiness to accommodate various individual student learning needs. 5) The assessment and evaluation system is not yet optimal for measuring the achievement of the expected competencies from the Merdeka Belajar program. Therefore, systemic improvement efforts are needed to optimize the implementation of the MBKM Curriculum in the History Education Study Program, FKIP, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar.
