Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce competition, education plays a vital role in determining the future of children. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of tutoring activities in improving children's learning abilities at Rumah Pintar Purwokerto Tutoring. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that tutoring at Rumah Pintar, which offers personalized programs such as Baby Class, Toodler Activity, and Elementary and Junior High School Subjects, succeeded in improving children's understanding and learning skills. This tutoring applies a face-to-face learning model, with one teacher for one student, both at the tutoring center and at the student's home. Although there are obstacles such as scheduling between teachers and students, the findings show that the individualized approach and adequate facilities are able to overcome children's learning difficulties, increase motivation, and build their confidence. In conclusion, tutoring at Rumah Pintar Purwokerto is effective in improving children's learning abilities and providing additional support that is not always available in formal schools.

Abstract

Penelirian ini membahas tentang upaya, program, dan pengaruh dari keberadaan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat yang dikenal sebagai PKBM, terutama PKBM Marsudi Karya, dalam meningkatkan keterampilan penduduk Desa Beji. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang mengunakaan data kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan berbagai cara, termasuk observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan semua informasi, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan Upaya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan masyarakat Desa Beji melalui pendidikan dan ekonomi, yang mencakup persiapan, pengumpulan data, pelaporan, pemetaan, pelaksanaan, analisis, dukungan program, dan penilaian. PKBM Marsudi Karya memiliki program-program seperti pendidikan kesetaraan, keterampilan menjahit, memasak, komputer, dan teknik mesin. Pengaruh dari berbagai program tersebut adalah meningkatnya taraf hidup warga Desa Beji menjadi masyarakat yang lebih sejahtera.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Satria Purwokerto yang meliputi proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi dalam penyelenggaraan program pendidikan nonformal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian meliputi ketua PKBM, staf, tutor, serta warga belajar pada program Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Pendidikan Kesetaraan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program dilakukan secara sistematis melalui penentuan sasaran, identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, dan penyusunan agenda pembelajaran. Pengorganisasian dilaksanakan dengan pembagian tugas yang jelas sesuai struktur organisasi. Pelaksanaan program berjalan efektif dengan dukungan tutor dan kerja sama dengan berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Pengawasan dilakukan oleh pihak internal melalui pemantauan rutin oleh ketua PKBM, serta oleh pihak eksternal dari Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Banyumas dan Bhabinkamtibmas. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan secara formatif dan sumatif untuk mengukur pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik.Secara keseluruhan, PKBM Satria Purwokerto mampu menyelenggarakan program pendidikan secara efektif meskipun menghadapi kendala utama pada aspek pendanaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mengenai pengelolaan PKBM serta menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan pendidikan nonformal di masyarakat.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of religious programs in shaping students’ character in elementary schools by analyzing the roles of teachers, principals, and parental support. A qualitative approach was employed to explore the dynamics of program implementation through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers play a central role as role models by consistently integrating religious values into daily routines, instructional activities, and personal guidance. Principals provide structural support through policy formulation, facility provision, and the reinforcement of a school culture grounded in religious values. Parents strengthen the internalization of these values through home-based practices and active collaboration in school activities. The religious programs contribute positively to the development of students’ discipline, responsibility, empathy, and spiritual awareness. These results highlight the importance of continuous synergy between school and family in fostering a holistic and religiously oriented educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the accessibility and management of school facilities for students with special needs at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Purwokerto. The research focuses on identifying the availability of inclusive facilities, physical accessibility, and the supporting factors that enable students with disabilities to participate comfortably in school activities. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through direct observation of school environments and in-depth interviews with administrative staff responsible for the procurement and disposal of school facilities. Documentation in the form of photos and inventory reports was also used as supporting data. The results show that SD Negeri 1 Tanjung has provided several inclusive facilities such as wheelchairs, ramps, learning aids, and motoric development tools; however, some crucial facilities such as disability-friendly toilets are still unavailable. The study also found that the management of facilities is influenced by limited funding and the lack of specifically trained teachers for special needs education. Overall, this study highlights the importance of improving both physical accessibility and professional competence to support the successful implementation of inclusive education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the inclusive education management implemented at SDIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto, an Islamic elementary school that has been committed to accepting children with special needs and integrating them into one class with regular students since 2010. This study employed a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Then data analysis is carried out through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the implementation of inclusive education management at SDIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto encompasses four main management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. During the planning stage, the school develops an inclusive program each academic year, taking into account the previous year's evaluation, including the learning plan and the therapeutic needs of children with special needs. During the organizing stage, the school principal is assisted by an inclusion coordinator and a special assistant teacher to systematically implement the program. Learning is implemented flexibly, adapting learning materials based on the abilities of children with special needs. Supervision at the school is carried out periodically through administrative checks and monthly evaluations. This study also identified supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the program's success. These findings emphasize the importance of adaptive and collaborative management in implementing inclusive education in elementary schools.
