Abstract

Children with hyperactivity conditions, often known as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity condition), frequently struggle with socialization and emotional regulation. This results from a failure to pay attention to and comprehend social norms. Therefore, strategies are required to address these issues, including the use of aquatic or water-based physical activities. This study will further investigate the function of water activities in enhancing hyperactive children's social and emotional development. Eight participants, three hyperactive kids, three parents of hyperactive kids, and two swimming coaches, were included in this study, which was conducted at one of the Cilacap Regency swimming pools using a qualitative case study methodology. Data triangulation, which included field observations, interviews, and documentation, was used to acquire the data. Using the NVivo 15 pro tool, data analysis was completed by classifying and coding significant themes as research results. Important discoveries have emerged about the function of aquatic activities, their effects, hyperactive children's social interactions, and the methods trainers employ to enhance their social and emotional development. According to Erik Erikson's theory of social-emotional development, aquatic activities help hyperactive kids develop socially and emotionally by promoting energy management, emotion regulation, more focus, social interaction, and coach strategies like play media, regular evaluation, and individualized approaches. Parents, trainers, educators, and even therapists will learn from this study about the advantages of aquatic activities to promote hyperactive kids' social and emotional growth.

Abstract

This study is a correlational research. In line with the research objective, which is to examine the relationship between the variables being studied, this study focuses on the relationship between leg muscle explosive power and abdominal muscle endurance strength with smash hitting ability. Based on statistical analysis, a correlation was found between leg muscle explosive power and smash hitting ability. This is evident from the product moment correlation test (rₓ₁y) result of 0.689, indicating a significant relationship as the obtained r-value (0.689) is greater than the table value (0.514). Additionally, a significant relationship was found between abdominal muscle endurance strength and smash hitting ability, as shown by the product moment correlation test (rₓ₂y) result of 0.824. Therefore, there is a highly significant relationship, with the obtained r-value (0.824) greater than the table value (0.514). After obtaining the results of x₁y and x₂y, a multiple correlation test was conducted to assess the combined correlation. The results indicated that leg muscle explosive power and abdominal muscle endurance strength have a coefficient value in relation to smash hitting ability, as seen from the multiple correlation test (rₓ₁ₓ₂y) result of 0.84. Referring to the interpretation table for the r-value, the value of 0.84 indicates a very high correlation. Explosive power of the leg muscles and endurance strength of the abdominal muscles play a significant role in the performance of the smash ability

Abstract

The research method used in this action research is the classroom action research method. This method was chosen because it aims to improve the badminton learning process through modifying learning media using traditional tools. The action research method consists of several main stages, namely problem identification, action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. This study is based on the results of a survey and observation at SMK Islam Bustanul Ulum Pakusari, the lack of racket and shuttlecock media makes learning less effective and efficient. Many students do not have rackets and shuttlecocks when learning badminton. This study aims to find out how to modify rackets and shuttlecocks made of wood, boards, newspapers and rope as a solution for badminton learning. The method used defines, interprets, explains a situation. The learning process using modified racket and shuttlecock media is very helpful in overcoming the lack of learning media at SMK Islam Bustanul Ulum.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to review the scientific literature on the research of Learning Models in Football Passing. One database (Google Scholar) was used to select articles containing information on Learning Models in Football Passing. The search was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. After the exclusion criteria, only 7 articles were categorized. The results show that the types of research used in the research of Learning Models in Football Passing are diverse, namely; Research & Development (R&D) method research, Experiments using the randomized pretest-posttest control group the same subject design, classroom action (PTK), literature study research and quantitative, experiments. On average, the research uses the Research & Development (R&D) and classroom action (PTK) methods in data collection. Some limitations inherent in the review have been noted, and it is necessary to continue this study further globally with a literature review or mapping study (bibliometric and scientometric), and it is also necessary to do about the application of Learning Models in improving skills in PJOK learning and its impact, because in the current learning process, elements such as combining and modifying sports learning models can make students happier and happier when exercising, dialogue, and respect, as well as physical activity and sports, are very important.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes taught by certified teachers and uncertified teachers. The problem raised in this study is whether there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes based on teacher certification status. The method used is a quantitative method with a t-test, which is a type of statistical analysis used to test differences between two groups. The population in this study were all students in grades XI and XII of high school with a total of 551 students, consisting of 10 grades XI and 9 grades XII. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling, namely by selecting one class from grade XI taught by uncertified teachers and one class from grade XII taught by certified teachers. Each class consists of 27 students, so the total research sample is 54 students. The instrument used to measure learning outcomes is student report card scores. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, it shows that the average value of students taught by certified teachers is 92.5185 with a 95% confidence interval indicating that the actual population average is likely to be between 91.6314 and 93.4056. While the average value of students taught by the teacher has not certification as big as 91.0370, with a 95% confidence interval indicating that the true population mean is likely to be between 89.1800 and 92.8941. The scores of students taught by certified teachers have higher average scores compared to the scores of students taught by non-certified teachers. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes based on teacher certification status.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the physical fitness levels of futsal athletes participating in extracurricular programs at six high schools in Tangerang City. Using a quantitative research method with a survey and analysis approach, data were collected from 60 students aged 16 to 18 years through purposive and area sampling. Six physical fitness tests were conducted: Sit and Reach (flexibility), Vertical Jump, Triple Hop Jump, Hurdle Jump (power), Illinois Agility Test (speed and agility), and Beep Test (endurance). The average scores of the participants were compared to normative data for both general non-athlete adolescents and trained athletes. Results showed that while the futsal athletes outperformed the general adolescent population in most fitness components, their performance was significantly lower than that of elite athletes, particularly in endurance and lower limb power. The findings indicate a need for improved training programs that emphasize physical conditioning alongside technical and tactical skills. Plyometric exercises, agility drills, and cardiovascular training are recommended to enhance the athletes’ physical capacities. This research highlights the importance of balanced training in school sports programs and recommends that coaches incorporate comprehensive fitness training tailored to students’ individual needs. Overall, enhancing physical fitness is essential for maximizing the performance and success of young futsal athletes
