Abstract

Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are small-scale businesses carried out by individuals or business entities with a certain amount of net worth and sales proceeds. MSMEs in Abiansemal Strait Village, Badung, still use manual methods in analyzing data. Conditions like this are the basis for this study to create a system that can help make it easier for the Abiansemal Badung Strait Village if there is an assistance program from the government, both business capital assistance, and business credit applications to be given to MSME actors. Naïve Bayes' method of classifying MSMEs is built on concepts explored from the interview process, literature studies and system implementation. The design of this system was made using the Python programming language. The CRISP-DM model is a system development method used in the classification of MSMEs. The Feasibility Prediction Model for Capital Assistance and Business Credit using the Naïve Bayes Method can make it easier for users to find out whether the existence of a web-based classification and recommendation system can make it easier for users to carry out the MSME classification process easily and users can see the solutions recommended by referral MSMEs that have better business conditions directly.

Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is a virgin coconut oil produced from the extraction process of fresh coconut meat without the use of chemicals or high temperatures. VCO has high economic value with various health benefits. The process of making VCO involves a centrifugal machine to separate the oil from coconut milk. However, the control of the VCO Purification machine still relies on manual intervention by the operator, which can lead to human error and affect production efficiency. In order to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error, Internet of Things (IoT) and Mobile Application technologies can be applied in the control of VCO Purification machines. The programming language used is PHP because it can be accessed on various platforms, especially Mobile. The sensor used is an IR (Infrared) speed sensor for measuring rotational speed. The Mobile Application can be a convenient interface for operators to control and record the operation history of the VCO purification machine. This research has succeeded in developing an IoT and Mobile Application-based control system that is effective in controlling VCO purification machines, increasing production efficiency, and reducing the risk of human error.

Abstract

Low learning interest among students, especially fourth-grade elementary school students, often becomes an obstacle in achieving optimal learning outcomes. To help make the learning process more effective and efficient, educational media are used as intermediaries between educators and learners that connect, provide information, and deliver messages. With the advancement of technology, the education world faces new challenges in applying technology to learning activities, particularly in the development of educational media. One technology that can support learning is Augmented Reality (AR). The main component of Augmented Reality is a 3D object that appears when a marker is scanned by software or an application. This will make students more interested in learning because of the animated 3D objects. In this research, the researcher developed "Augmented Reality Technology as an Android-Based Learning Media for Fourth-Grade Students at SD Negeri 11 Sesetan" to assist teachers and students in the learning process. With it students will become more interested in the learning process when using this AR-based educational media

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usability of the Sidoarjo Public Service System (SIPRAJA) application using Heuristic Evaluation and the System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. The SUS results provide an average score of 49.63. The Heuristic Evaluation identifies problems and strengths based on design principles, while SUS quantitatively assesses the application's usability. The Heuristic Evaluation results show that most usability aspects fall into the "poorly functioning features" category, with some aspects such as "Error Prevention" receiving better ratings. indicating that the SIPRAJA application requires significant improvements to enhance usability and user satisfaction. This research provides a basis for improvement recommendations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of public services through this application.

Abstract

The document explores the application of the Canny Edge Detection method in facial recognition systems, specifically for identifying edge patterns in digital images. In the context of technological advancements, the focus is on enhancing data processing through efficient image analysis techniques. The research addresses how different edge detection methods, including Roberts, Prewitt, Sobel, and Canny, function, with the latter being highlighted for its superior ability to minimize error and deliver accurate edge detection results. The study outlines the development of a system designed to identify optimal edge detection parameters using the Canny method, focusing on facial images captured from the front. The system is limited to edge identification in such images, and performance is measured using a correlation coefficient. The process involves several technical steps, such as pre-processing the image (grayscale conversion and noise reduction) and using Gaussian filters and hysteresis thresholding to refine the detection. The research's ultimate aim is to optimize Canny's performance for identifying edges, contributing to advancements in facial recognition technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of capital on the income of nasi jinggo traders, (2) the influence of location on the income of nasi jinggo traders, (3) the influence of capital and location on the income of nasi jinggo traders in Kesiman Village, East Denpasar District. This study applies a quantitative approach with a sample size of 35 respondents taken from nasi jinggo traders in Kesiman Village, East Denpasar District. The analysis techniques used are multiple linear analysis and determination test. The results of this study show that (1) the capital variable has a significant effect on income, as evidenced by the results of the t-test of 7.139, exceeding the t-table of 2.034 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) the location variable has a significant influence on income as proven by the results of the t-test of 2.838, exceeding the t-table of 2.034 with a significant value of 0.001 < 0.005; 3) capital and location variables have a significant influence on income as evidenced by the calculated F value of 25.957, exceeding the F table of 3.29 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; (4) The results of the determination coefficient using the Adjusted R Square method state that 59.5% of the capital and location variables have a significant influence on income, while the remaining 40.5% is influenced by other factors that were not included in the research. So the results obtained are that there is a significant influence between capital and location on the income of nasi jinggo traders in Kesiman Village, East Denpasar District.

Abstract

Edge detection is an important analysis in digital image processing. An edge in an image is a border between two different objects or structures, and this edge information can provide important insight into the structure of objects in the image. The edge detection process aims to find the location of significant changes in intensity, which often reflect object boundaries or prominent features. Edge detection techniques have several methods such as Robert, Prewitt and Canny, where each method will produce a different processed image. In this paper, a comparison is made of the use of edge detection methods to process images of written Balinese script, which often have various different patterns in each writing, so that edge detection is expected to produce a clear image of written Balinese script using these three edge detection methods. as a comparison. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable insight in selecting the optimal edge detection method for image processing of Balinese script.

Abstract

UPMI Bali is a new campus, so campus promotion is still very much needed to increase prospective new students at UPMI Bali. By utilizing available data, the campus can determine effective campus promotion strategies using data mining. The data system will be built using the Association Rules technique. Association Rules is a data mining method to find frequently occurring association patterns in data. This method is popular because it is often used to analyze shopping carts. The rules formed will be in the form of "If-Then" in a transaction. Using the apriori algorithm generally involves finding frequent itemsets from a sales transaction database through several iteration stages. The association patterns formed with a minimum support value of 10% and confidence of 50% produced 18 association rules, with the strong rule obtained being Lecturer and Denpasar with a support value of 22% and confidence of 50%. Thus, if students know about the UPMI campus reference from a Lecturer, then these students are from Denpasar.

Abstract

Kurikulum program studi diploma dua Administrasi Jaringan Komputer dirancang secara aplikatif dan berorientasi pada praktik industri. Tujuannya adalah untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan kompetensi teknis yang relevan dan langsung dapat diterapkan di dunia kerja. Salah satu elemen penting dalam kurikulum tersebut adalah program magang industri yang dilaksanakan selama dua semester dalam skema fast track. Namun, pelaksanaan magang masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti proses administrasi yang masih konvensional, minimnya pemantauan terhadap aktivitas mahasiswa di lapangan, serta belum tersedianya sistem informasi manajemen terintegrasi yang menghubungkan mahasiswa, pembimbing, dan mitra industri. Sistem informasi ini dikembangkan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan proses magang industri pada program fast track. Pengembangan sistem magang industri menggunakan pengembangan perangkat lunak model waterfall dan diimplementasikan dengan bahasa pemrograman framework codeIgniter. Dari hasil pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing 100% sistem yang sudah diimplementasikan sesuai dengan fungsinya dan memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Digital technology in classroom learning can enhance teachers’ instructional resources by providing access to diverse verbal and nonverbal presentation modes. In early childhood education, developing fine motor skills often presents a significant challenge. This study explores the effectiveness of video tutorials as visual communication media, integrating the Balinese cultural concept of Jagat Kerti (a principle of universal harmony) and an engaging learning approach to develop fine motor skills and promote character development in young children. The video activities involve shaping objects with plasticine and narrating the folk tale The Monkey and the Turtle. The media production process is divided into three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Observations showed that before watching the video, children could recognize shapes and colors but struggled to manipulate plasticine. After watching the video and receiving teacher guidance, the children successfully formed objects like apples and turtles and understood the story’s moral messages. Testing with a small group of young learners confirmed that this educational media is highly suitable as a learning tool for early childhood education.
