Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tantangan banjir yang semakin sering terjadi, penelitian ini mengungkap penyebab banjir di kawasan yang rentan yaitu Nagari Kampuang Galapuang, Kecamatan Ulakan Tapakis, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Pendekatan analisis menggunakan Aplikasi Hec-RAS Versi 6.4.1, mengarahkan fokus pada Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) sebagai elemen kritis pada permasalahan banjir. Data lapangan yang terkumpul melalui survei dan observasi kemudian diolah melalui aplikasi Hec-RAS, menghasilkan visualisasi ketinggian banjir dalam bentuk 2 dimensi yang menggambarkan rentan potensi banjir. Temuan dalam 400 meter DAS yang diselidiki, teridentifikasi bahwa saluran tersebut kritis dan sangat rentan terhadap banjir. Faktor-faktor seperti pendangkalan dasar sungai dan variasi debit air, diperparah oleh curah hujan yang meningkat, menggambarkan pola peningkatan resiko banjir yang signifikan. Melalui serangkaian simulasi menggunakan aplikasi Hec-RAS, tergambar jelas bagaimana faktor-faktor ini menciptakan potensi yang berbahaya bagi masyarakat di sekitar bantaran sungai. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan implikasi mendalam, mendorong para pemangku kepentingan untuk bekerja sama dalam merumuskan solusi berkelanjutan. Data dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat dan penanganan yang proaktif, serta berfokus pada konsep-konsep mitigasi dan adaptasi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This study employed an integrated approach of side-scan sonar imaging and bathymetric surveying to precisely locate and characterize collapsed navigation structures within the dynamic Mahakam River Delta. This crucial waterway faces environmental challenges like strong currents and heavy siltation, threatening navigational aid integrity. Accurate identification of these submerged hazards is vital for safe shipping and future infrastructure development. Our findings demonstrated the effectiveness of combining these hydrographic methods to accurately map the seafloor and detect anomalies indicative of collapsed structures. Visual diving confirmed extremely poor underwater visibility, necessitating remote sensing. High-resolution bathymetric surveys successfully identified distinct riverbed anomalies, notably a collapsed structure at 00°50'13.29" S / 117°18'24.51" E, exhibiting a 1-1.5 meter elevation change at 4.5 meters depth. Acoustic data supported its man-made origin. These critical findings directly informed recommendations for repositioning affected navigation aids to a safer location at 00°50'16.29" S / 117°18'24.59" E, thus providing essential data for maritime safety and infrastructure management in complex riverine ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause repair work. To find out the factors that cause the most dominant repair work and to find out how to minimize repair work at PT Lubuk Minturun Konstruksi Persada (PT.LMKP) Padang. The method used is SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). By circulating a questionnaire of 50 respondents. The results of data analysis concluded that the indicators causing repair work consisted of design and documentation totaling 6 indicators, planning and scheduling totaling 6 indicators, materials and equipment totaling 6 indicators, human resources totaling 6 indicators, leadership and documentation totaling 6 indicators. So the total is 28 indicators of the causes of repair work. The indicator that causes the most dominant repair work is the indicator that has the highest score, namely Design and Scheduling for indicator X2.5 “repair work causes inequality between architectural drawings and structural drawings / not according to drawings” with a total score of 229 and an average of 4.58, the most dominant factor causing repair work at PT Lubuk Minturun Konstruksi Persada (PT LMKP) Padang, Design and Scheduling and finding ways to minimize the occurrence of repair work.

Abstract

The foundation is essential in construction, as it transfers the building's load to the ground. This study evaluates the axial and lateral bearing capacities and settlement of bored pile foundations using PLAXIS 3D with Mohr-Coulomb and Hardening Soil material models. The results are compared with field tests from the PDA and Static Loading Tests. The Results show that the choice of material model significantly influences bearing capacity and settlement. The highest axial bearing capacity recorded was 7,384.41 kN, and the lateral capacity was 393 kN, achieved with the Mohr-Coulomb model and Linear Elastic pile material. The settlement results from PLAXIS 3D were generally lower than those from the PDA Test, with a deviation of 5–13%. In contrast, the axial bearing capacities from PLAXIS 3D exceeded those from the Static Loading Test by about 1–14%. This study underscores the importance of selecting the appropriate soil constitutive model to ensure that numerical simulations reflect real-world conditions accurately.

Abstract

Flooding is a frequent natural disaster in Padang City, particularly inPegambiran Village, Lubuk Begalung District. The Batang Jirak River is one of therivers that traverses the area and plays a crucial role in flood mitigation. This studyaims to analyze and evaluate the Batang Jirak River area for flood mitigation usingHEC-RAS software. The research method used is hydrological analysis and spatialanalysis using rainfall data, river discharge data, and spatial data of the river area.The HEC-RAS modeling results indicate that the Batang Jirak River is safe fromflooding with return periods of 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 25 years, 50 years, and100 years, thus eliminating the need for further river redesign. Based on theanalysis, several recommendations can be made to prevent future flooding,including the need to educate the surrounding community to prevent waste fromentering the river and the need to clean the riverbed of mud to maintain the smoothflow of water.

Abstract

Pasar Malam Nusa Indah berada di jalan H. Mistar Cokrokusumo merupakan pertemuan arus antara Pelaihari dan Banjarbaru, maka banyak kendaraan, mobil, bus pariwisata, dan truk angkutan yang lewat sehingga dengan adanya aktivitas Pasar Malam Nusa Indah menyebabkan kecepatan kendaraan jadi melambat dan membuat kepadatan. Penelitian ini menganalisis hambatan pada di sisi jalan yang dapat berdampak terhadap kinerja ruas jalan. Penelitian ini membandingkan kondisi ruas jalan saat ada aktivitas pasar dan tanpa aktivitas pasar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengevaluasi volume lalu lintas, kecepatan, kepadatan Jalan H. Mistar Cokrokusumo dan membandingkan kinerja lalu lintas pada dua kondisi tersebut. Survei volume lalu lintas dan kecepatan dilakukan guna menentukan tingkat kepadatan, serta survei hambatan samping untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh hambatan tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu Greenshields, Greenberg, Underwood, dan Bell. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa permodelan yang paling relevan adalah model Greenshields dengan kondisi aktivitas pasar volume maksimum dan kecepatan maksimum mengalami penurunan sebesar 1% dan 9% akan tetapi kepadatan maksimum meningkat sebesar 7%. Berdasarkan analisis tingkat pelayanan ruas jalan saat kondisi ada aktivitas pasar didapatkan Indeks Tingkat Pelayanan terendah adalah ITP E yang berarti arus tidak stabil.

Abstract

This study investigates the collapse of the dolphin (fender) structure of the Mahakam Bridge in Samarinda, Indonesia, following a collision with a timber-laden pontoon ship. High-resolution bathymetry and side-scan sonar (SSS) techniques were employed to map debris distribution, quantify structural damage, and assess risks to bridge integrity and navigational safety. The dolphin structure, critical for pier protection, suffered catastrophic failure, with debris fields extending 42.6–51.5 m laterally and covering 617.7–721 m². Bathymetric surveys revealed elevation anomalies of 1–1.5 m at depths of 4.5 m, while SSS identified cylindrical debris (diameter: 8 m) consistent with dolphin components. Integration of these methods enabled precise debris localization (00°50′13.29″ S, 117°18′24.51″ E) and informed relocation recommendations for navigation aids. The findings underscore the efficacy of remote sensing in turbid riverine environments and provide a framework for post-collision infrastructure assessment.

Abstract

Land has a very important role in the world of construction such as buildings, bridges, and also road construction. Soil acts as the foundation of construction where the soil must be able to withstand the construction load that stands on it. On Jalan Badak, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province will be built housing and rigid roads. The problem is, in other locations that are not far from the construction site, there is also a subsidence (change in volume) in the construction of rigid roads due to the traffic load on it. This study aims to analyze the value of shear strength in clay soil stabilization using layers of plastic sacks and coconut coir ash waste. The research method is an experimental study in the laboratory based on SNI 3420:2016 using clay soil taken from Jalan Badak Ujung, Pekanbaru City, Riau. Soil stabilization material with a mixed variation percentage of 15% of the dry weight of the soil. There are 3 variations used, variation 1 is the top plastic sack layer and the ask 15% mixture, variation 2 is the bottom plastic sack layer and the ask 15% mixture, variation 3 is the top and bottom plastic sack layer and the ask 15% mixture. The test specimen is fermented for 7 days, then the sample is tested using a direct shear tool . The results showed a significant increase in the variation 3 test specimen, where the shear strength of the soil increased by 122.06% and the cohesion value increased by 54.35%.

Abstract

Commercial buildings are buildings that accommodate various commercial functions such as villas, hotels, resorts, trade, rental office space, and others. According to their type, commercial buildings are buildings that are planned and designed to generate profits for both owners and users. Based on this thinking, commercial building design considers nine aspects (Wungow, 2011). Factors that must be considered in the construction of commercial buildings and actions taken so that the construction management function has a significant influence on the success of commercial building construction projects in project development. From its definition, construction management applies management functions to a project by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently to achieve project objectives. The main goal of construction management is to manage management functions effectively and efficiently to obtain optimal results as agreed with the project owner. The selected sampling techniques were Interviews/Questionnaires and Primary Data. In this study, a sample of 25 respondents from several different construction service companies was required. Based on Company Status, company type, company work experience, work equipment aspects, capital/finance, HR (Human Resources). Analysis of construction management factors in commercial building construction, analysis of questionnaire data taken from 25 respondents was processed using Microsoft Office Excel 2010.
