Abstract

Increasing knowledge and competency challenges related to new technology and processes in Industry 4.0 (I4.0), a new strategic approach is needed for human resource management in companies. This study aims to identify a variety of skills that indicate an approach to how employees in companies and entrepreneurship can utilize them to face the emerging digital economy challenges in Industry 4.0. Macro environment analysis using the PESTEL framework approach was carried out. The finding that challenges in fulfilling the qualifications and requirements of employees and entrepreneurs who have a variety of skills to fulfill the core competencies in I4.0, requires the ability to identify needs, adjustments and flexibility with economic, social, technological and technical, environmental, and political and legal advances and changes . Identification and strategic approaches to qualifying core competencies that employees and entrepreneurship may require are explained in this article. Gap analysis of the categorization of each core competency and its evaluation is also described, ending with conclusions and recommendations.

Abstract

Myogenic low back pain is pain related to stress or strain on the back muscles, tendons and ligaments which are usually present when you do excessive daily activities. Low back pain needs to get attention because it can become a problem such as lost work time, reducing work productivity. Prevention of myogenic low back pain can be in the form of health education to batik artisans using exercise control sheet media. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a one group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The sampling technique is by means of proportional stratified random sampling. The results showed that after doing the static stretching exercise, William Flexion Exercise, core stability using a control sheet had not made positive changes for batik craftsmen who experienced myogenic lower back pain.

Abstract

According to the medium-term infrastructure investment plan (RPIJM) for the city of Cirebon, the raw water source for PDAM Cirebon City has been using the Cipaniis spring, whose discharge is decreasing day by day due to forest destruction on Mount Ciremai. The steps in the QUAL2Kw method are segment determination, sampling, laboratory testing, hydraulic data analysis, water quality, pollutant sources, scenario determination, running the QUAL2Kw program and calculation of pollution load capacity. River water quality parameters used in the QUAL2Kw application in this study were PH, temperature, DO, TSS, Ammonia, and Phosphate. Application of the QUAL2Kw method, in evaluating river pollution load carrying capacity period. The capacity of the Cipager River pollution load for 2022, for the highest capacity in 2022, the TSS parameter is in segment B (downstream research) of 372.53 kg/day, the DO parameter is in segment A – 1 of -29.86 kg/day day, the ammoniac parameter is in segment A – 1 of 3.43 kg/day, the phosphate parameter is in segment B (downstream of the research).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the problem-solving abilities of Imelda Medan Private Middle School students. This research was conducted at Imelda Medan Private Middle School in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The subjects in this study were class VIII students of Imelda Medan Private Middle School. The research sample was taken using the cluster random sampling method, with a post-test only control group research design. The hypothesis test shows the results of tcount 5.459 > ttable 2.074, it can be concluded that the level of problem solving abilities of students in the experimental class is better than that of control class students. To see how much influence is carried out using the effect size which shows the value of d = 1.608 so that it is known that the magnitude of the influence of the problem based learning model on students' problem solving abilities is 94.5%. This can prove the hypothesis that the problem-solving abilities of students who are taught by the problem-based learning model are better than the problem-solving abilities of students who are taught by ordinary learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a Realistic Mathematical Approach on Students' Mathematical Problem Solving Ability. This research was conducted at SMP IT Al-Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a Post-Test Only research design. The research sample consisted of two classes consisting of 21 students in the experimental class and 17 students in the control class. The experimental class uses a realistic mathematical approach while the control class uses conventional learning and both classes are given material on a system of two-variable linear equations. Analysis after being given treatment shows that both samples are normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test shows the results of t_count 4.3633> t_table 1.6883, it can be concluded that the level of students' mathematical problem solving ability in the experimental class is better than that of the control class students. For how much influence is carried out using the effect size test which shows the value of d = 1.4 so that it is known that the effect of a realistic mathematical approach on students' mathematical problem solving abilities is 91.9%. This can prove the hypothesis that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students taught by a realistic mathematics approach are better than the problem solving abilities taught by conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of external pressure, financial target, ineffective monitoring, rationalization, and capability on financial statement fraud. Financial Statement Fraud is measured by earnings management using discretionary accruals. This study uses secondary data were taken from the manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Sample selection is done by purposive sampling method and sample obtained from this research were 45 of a total 135 companies. Method of analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The result show that simultanoeusly of external pressure, financial target, ineffective monitoring, rationalization, and capability have a significant influence on financial statement fraud. Partially, external pressure, financial target, rationalization, and have no significant influence on financial statement fraud. Ineffective monitoring partially has a significant influence on financial statement fraud.

Abstract

The teaching profession as the spearhead of a country's education continues to receive attention, especially efforts to increase self-development and professionalism. Teacher Competency Test (UKG) is a program developed in order to map teacher abilities, both pedagogic abilities and professionalism. This research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the implementation of the UKG program in East Luwu Regency, which included the implementation process, the obstacles experienced and their causes, and the results obtained. Thus, this research is expected to provide information that can be used as an alternative in planning and implementing UKG in the future. This study uses the CIPP evaluation model, which includes Context, Input, Process, Product. The results showed that the percentage of teachers who met the graduation standard was 33.98% and 66.02% did not fulfill it with a score below 55.
