Abstract

Abstract : This research is a type 2x2 factorial design that aims to see the correlation between problem solving model and scoring type of multiple choice formative test in improving students' HOTS capability in Chemistry lesson. Type of scoring test is divided into two sub-variables that scoring by scores and scores are appropriate while the learning model consists of problem solving model and direct learning model. The student's HOTS capability consists of three stages of cognitive namely analysis, evaluation, and synthesis by using choice of choice test with several HOTS answer choices that have been validated by experts and panelists. The population in this study is all students of SMA Negeri in East Luwu regency. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling with total sample of 80 students who were integrated into empathy groups consisting of 20 samples per group. The result of analysis shows that FO value in main effect test and interaction effect is bigger than Ftable value is 3,968 which show the influence of interacation between problem solving model and scoring type to students’s HOTS ability.

Abstract

This type of research is associative quantitative research which has the aim of analyzing partially or simultaneously the effect of price, product quality and consumer reviews on purchasing decisions on the Shopee online shopping platform at Medan State University. The sample used in this study was 40 respondents obtained using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was taken using a questionnaire via Google Form. The data analysis method uses validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test, and the coefficient of determination with computational data calculation and processing. The validity test results on the 20 instrument items used show rcount> rtable, and the Cronbach Alpha value> 0.6 so it can be concluded that the data obtained is valid and reliable. The results of hypothesis testing show that price and product quality do not have a positive influence on purchasing decisions on the Shopee platform, while consumer reviews show that there is a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions on the Shopee platform at Medan State University with a tcount value = 4.513> ttable = 1.688 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. For simultaneous testing, it shows that there is an influence between price, product quality, and consumer reviews on purchasing decisions with a value of Fhitung> Ftabel = 18,983> 2.87 with a significance value = 0.000 < 0.05. As an implication of this research, there needs to be further research related to the effect of price and product quality using different dependent variables.

Abstract

The study uses an associative quantitative approach method which aims to determine the influence of exports and imports on economic growth both partially, and simultaneously, This research was carried out using several analyses and multiple regression tests, including the Classical Assumption Test and the Hypothesis Test to see the influence between variables. This study uses secondary data regarding related variables sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of this study show that partially exports have a positive and significant. This result also explains that the higher the export, the more economic growth will increase, but on the contrary, if imports increase, economic growth will decrease. The benefits of global economic openness can be seen from the condition of a country's economic balance. Participation in import export activities will bring great benefits to the countries involved. In future research, it is important to dig deeper into how certain factors in exports and imports can have different impacts on economic growth.

Abstract

This type of research is Quantitative Associative which aims to determine the effect of motivation variables and interest in learning on improving student achievement / learning outcomes both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study were all class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a sample size of 30 people taken by purposive sampling, namely sampling techniques carried out on the basis of certain considerations of the researcher. The results of this study indicate that learning motivation partially and significantly affects student learning outcomes with a t value = 3.527> t table = 1.662, with a significance value of 0.02 <0.05. Meanwhile, the learning interest variable partially and significantly affects learning outcomes with a t value of 4.479 > t table = 1.662, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Simultaneously, motivation and interest in learning affect the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a value of Fhitung = 6.406> Ftabel = 3.35 The percentage of influence is 39%. These results also explain that the higher the motivation and interest in learning students, the greater the learning outcomes and vice versa. Students with high motivation and interest in learning tend to be more active in learning and vice versa. This research is very important especially in the field of education because it greatly affects the success of a school where high motivation and interest can improve students' abilities so that it has an impact on achieving good and quality learning outcomes, the title we discuss is very interesting to be discussed by further researchers in depth, especially in learning interests that have not been directed to the majors that are really wanted to increase the achievement of student learning outcomes that are superior and can compete with existing majors in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI) and the Labor Force on the poverty rate in North Tapanuli. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) of North Tapanuli Regency from 2012 to 2023. The analysis results show that the regression model Y=66.713-0.821+1.866 Labor Force meets the classical assumptions and has a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.919 and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.810. Partially, the HDI variable has a significant negative effect on the poverty rate, while the Labor Force variable has a positive but not significant effect. Simultaneously, the HDI and Labor Force variables have a significant influence on the poverty rate in North Tapanuli. Keywords: Poverty, HDI, Labor Force
