Abstract

The article discusses effective management strategies to overcome challenges in Islamic education management The importance of learning models in education to produce effective learning experiences, especially in developing skills. Project-based learning models are emerging as an innovative solution, helping students be creative, critical, and collaborative, and develop higher-order thinking skills. The research method used is a qualitative literature review by collecting data from various sources, such as books, journals, theses, and other scientific works. The integration of the Rahmatan Lil Alamin profile has a positive impact on student character development, spiritual and material balance, tolerance, openness, student empowerment, development of life skills, psychological and emotional well-being, respect for the environment, participation in society, and the formation of Islamic identity. Thus, project-based PAI learning becomes an effective tool in shaping student character according to the concept of rahmatan lil alamin. It is hoped that this implementation can create a generation that will bring grace to the entire universe.

Abstract

Educational evaluation management in the productive learning assessment in vocational high schools or vocational madrasah aliyah is an integral part of effective vocational education. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the productive learning assessment system in the context of vocational education in vocational high schools and vocational madrasah aliyah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using library sources such as books, journals, and policy documents because this method is an effective alternative for conducting research related to several vocational high schools and vocational madrasas to gain a deeper understanding of system implementation. productive assessment. The research results show that there are still several challenges in the productive assessment system, including openness in communication of assessment criteria and weights, as well as varying understanding of assessment guidelines. However, the evaluation also revealed best practices that have led to improvements in the assessment of productive learning. These results can be a basis for further improvements in the productive learning assessment system in vocational high schools and vocational madrasah aliyah, with a focus on improving the quality of vocational learning that is relevant and responsive to the demands of the job market.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of a learning process in order to achieve the goals of a learning program, so it can be said that quality education is determined by several related components, starting from input, process, and output, as well as good management. The learning process today is developing very rapidly due to demands and pressures to improve the quality of education.The research method used in this article is qualitative with a library research approach, because the authors here explore and search for data through research and reading of scientific works that are appropriate to the topic of discussion.The government expects standards in the learning process, namely planning, implementation and assessment. In a quality learning process, various learning inputs are involved, such as: students (cognitive, affective, or psychomotor), learning materials, methodology (varies according to the ability of the teacher), school facilities, administrative support and infrastructure and other resources and the creation of a conducive atmosphere. The results of this research show that managing the quality of Islamic education is not only about meeting formal standards set by the government, but also about creating a learning environment that is conducive, innovative and responsive to students' needs and the demands.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze policies for the development of Islamic religious education in schools and public universities (PTU). Islamic religious education plays an important role in shaping student character, strengthening religious values, and providing a better understanding of the Islamic religion. However, there are challenges faced in developing Islamic religious education, such as lack of resources, inadequate curriculum, lack of qualified teachers, or lack of student interest in Islamic religious subjects. The research methods used in this study involve literature reviews, policy analysis, and primary data collection through interviews or surveys. Data is collected from various sources, including government policies, curriculum guidelines, related research reports, and opinions of relevant stakeholders. The results of this study indicate that Islamic religious education needs to be strengthened in schools and Public Universities through policies that focus on the inclusion of Islamic religious subjects in the curriculum, development of relevant curricula, provision of adequate resources, good teacher training, supervision and rigorous evaluation, collaboration with religious institutions, and better interfaith understanding. This study provides recommendations for improving the development of Islamic religious education, including expanding educational resources, increasing teacher training, revising the curriculum, developing interesting and interactive teaching methods, increasing student participation in religious activities, and using technology in Islamic religious education. In conclusion, the development of Islamic religious education in schools and public universities requires policies that focus on quality teaching, adequate resources, collaboration with religious institutions, and interfaith understanding. Implementation of this policy will play an important role in shaping student character, strengthening religious values, and providing a better understanding of the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Organizational behavior is a field of study that examines habits, behavior, and the impact of individual involvement with organizations that influence processes within organizations such as in organizations or educational institutions. Organizational culture in education is something that is carried out continuously, making it a characteristic of an educational institution. Organizational behavior and culture in education is a unit that forms a structured system and shapes individual behavior patterns in organizations or educational institutions. The objectives of this research are 1) the concept of organizational behavior in education; 2) the concept of organizational culture in education; 3) behavioral and cultural characteristics of educational organizations. The research method used is a library study that focuses on literature, books, notes and published scientific information. The results of this research are 1) organizational behavior is a study that discusses individuals to obtain information in making decisions to make rules that can be used according to the conditions and situations of the educational environment; 2) organizational culture is the basic assumptions developed within an organization, to serve as a guide for the attitudes and behavior of all its members; 3) the characteristics contained in organizational behavior and culture in education are habits that are carried out repeatedly or continuously in learning to produce a certain behavior and culture that has characteristics that are different from other aspects.

Abstract

Educational facilities and infrastructure are important factors in improving the efficiency of learning and learning. Management of educational facilities and infrastructure is defined as a collaborative process of the effective and efficient utilization of all educational facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of managing educational facilities and infrastructure is to provide professional services in the field of educational facilities and infrastructure to carry out the education process effectively and efficiently. This qualitative research aims to reveal the implementation of management of education facilities and infrastructure and the role of teachers in improving the quality of learning through the utilization of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMP N 2 Kajen Pekalongan, by way of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique uses triangulation to make the data obtained more accurate.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum needs to be analyzed what policies are used in the curriculum structure because its implementation is still not so perfect, policies will be analyzed that enable students to achieve the goals of success in learning which is motivated by the Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) policies and standards content which is the beginning of the formation of the learning process. Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) are used as a reference or minimum standard to determine the success of student learning outcomes. Whereas content standards are used to determine what components must be achieved in the learning process, these content standards contain Core Competencies (KI) and Basic Competencies (KD). Both of these components are used and are very important in the learning process. The research method used is library research or literature study where data will be collected from several articles, journals, or books that have been fixed or have been published and an analysis of their contents will be carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine SKL policies and content standards in the 2013 curriculum. The results obtained in this study were SKL and content standards covering 3 aspects namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. SKL for the assessment criteria is carried out in each subject and at each different level of education. Content standards are prepared to become the basis for determining SKL.

Abstract

The quality (quality) of education has always been something that must be strived for by all elements of education. Therefore, managing an educational institution must be comprehensive and integrated. This is inseparable from how an institution manages that quality. The quality of education can be seen from the fulfillment of the eight educational standards that must be met by schools. The strategy for improving the quality of education must be directed at the components that determine the quality of education in schools, namely: 1) Strengthening Leadership in Schools, 2) Good curriculum management, 3) Increasing the Professionalism of Teachers and Education Personnel, 4) Complete facilities and infrastructure, 5) The creation of good relations with the surrounding community, 6) Continuous evaluation/improvement. By achieving a quality education process, it is ensured that it can also produce quality output by the National Education Standards.

Abstract

The competence of students is developed by educational institutions in an effort to achieve educational visions and missions based on educational goals. Policies related to student graduation at this time are not based on the results of the National Examination, but are based on school/madrasah decisions. Madrasas have a responsibility for the graduation predicate of students. Graduation criteria are determined by each educational unit. Thus, the value of local content is also considered in graduation. Not only implementing educational goals in general, but the values of local wisdom must also be in the curriculum. The objectives of the study were to find out, (1) the integrated curriculum planning model used in developing student competencies at MA Raudlatul Ulum Putri, (2) how to organize an integrated curriculum with local content, (3) how to implement an integrated curriculum with content, (4) how curriculum evaluation is integrated with local content. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The research began in November 2021-January 2022 at the MA Raudlatul Ulum Putri Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and verification. Checking the validity of the data used triangulation of sources, methods and data. The results of this study are (1) the planning used in developing an integrated curriculum using the rational-interactive model, (2) the organization used is curriculum integration, globally it is integrating the curriculum of the Ministry of Religion and Local Content (kitab turats). In particular, integrated interdisciplinary science. (3) The implementation of the curriculum is guided by the Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 184 of 2019, but replaces some group B subjects with other local content. (4) Curriculum evaluation is that the lesson plans have not been fully realized. The minority of students are not alumni of Islamic boarding schools or madrasas, so they are not familiar with the turats book when they first enter the madrasa and need to maximize the Book Reading Guidance (BMK) specifically for new students who are still lacking in their ability to learn the turats book.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of madrasah heads in improving student learning achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Muslimin Undaan Kudus by using a qualitative approach through case study methods. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with madrasah heads, deputy heads of curriculum and student affairs, participatory observation, and documentation of student achievements. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions by triangulating sources. The results of the study show that the head of the madrasah carries out three main roles. First, as a manager, the head of the madrasah effectively plans, organizes, and supervises academic and non-academic programs through a collaborative approach. Second, as a motivator, the head of the madrasah provides psychological encouragement and appreciation to teachers and students, thereby increasing the spirit of learning and achievement. Third, as a supervisor, the head of the madrasah supervises learning on lesson plans, annual programs, and semester programs, as well as encourages teacher professional development through training and workshops. This study confirms that the leadership of madrasah heads that integrates managerial, motivational, and supervisory functions makes a significant contribution to improving students' academic and non-academic achievements. This study also recommends strengthening the capacity of madrasah heads as agents of change in educational transformation through participatory and collaborative leadership models.
