Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of financial ratios, namely Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO), on financial distress in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, focusing on the food and beverage sector, with a sample of 30 companies over a period of 4 years from 2020 to 2023. Thus, the total data used in this research comprises 120 data points. The independent variables in this study are ROA, DER, CR, and TATO. The dependent variable is the condition of financial distress, expressed numerically. The research methodology employs the Zmijewski method to assess financial distress. The urgency of this research is to analyze the influence of financial performance on financial distress in food and beverage companies on the IDX in 2020-2023.. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, which helps in determining the influence of the independent variables (ROA, DER, CR, and TATO) on financial distress. The results of the t-test indicate that ROA significantly affects financial distress, whereas DER, CR, and TATO do not have a significant impact. Meanwhile, the F-test results show that the independent variables collectively have a significant influence on financial distress.

The research data is secondary data sourced from the annual reports of Islamic banks in Indonesia, published from 2012 to 2023. The results of the analysis conclude that mudharabah financing has a significant negative impact on NPF, while musyarakah financing has a significant positive impact on NPF. The analysis also shows that the amount of mudharabah financing is much smaller compared to musyarakah financing, indicating that the potential risk of musyarakah financing is much higher than that of mudharabah financing.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of job involvement and organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment serving as a mediating variable among employees of PUDAM Tirta Agung, Temanggung Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach, using questionnaires as the primary data collection instrument. A purposive sampling technique was applied, involving 100 employees with a minimum tenure of one year. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 25.0. The findings reveal that job involvement has no significant effect on OCB, while organizational justice shows a positive and significant influence on OCB. Furthermore, job involvement has no significant impact on organizational commitment, and organizational justice demonstrates a negative but insignificant effect on organizational commitment. Additionally, organizational commitment does not significantly influence OCB. The mediation tests indicate that organizational commitment does not mediate the effects of either job involvement or organizational justice on OCB. These results suggest that employees’ perceptions of fairness within the organization play a more critical role in encouraging extra-role behaviors than job involvement or commitment levels.
