Abstract

This study aims to identify whether the healing time delay period affects or does not affect the stability of disease-free equilibrium and the equilibrium of disease endemic. Time delay in the sense of this study is the time period of infected. Time delay in this study is focused on a single specific model, by calculating the temporary and permanent state of the spread of the disease.             The SIRS model used in this study with the assumption that all individuals who have infected do not have permanent immunity to the disease, so they will return to the disease-prone class. The SIRS epidemic model divides the population into four subpopulations namely Susceptible, Infective, Recovered and Susceptible.             This research was conducted by revising the SIRS epidemic model compartment which was then used to determine the model development equations represented in differential equation systems. The system describes the interaction between subpopulations with other populations. The results show that global disease-free equilibrium is stable for all t > 0 when the number of numbers is R0<1. It can be said that the time delay of the infected period cannot affect the stability of disease-free equilibrium. In other words, the effect of the time delay infected period can be negligible for R0 <1. However, when, R0> 1 the stability of endemic equilibrium will be affected by the time delay of the infected period.

Abstract

Competence is the ability to implement something that is is obtained through education and training. The training is an activity of a company that intends in order to improve and develop the attitudes, behaviors, skills and knowledge of employees in accordance with the desire from the companies concerned. The results study of are a reflection of the success of of students in participating the process of learning that followed.The population in this research is the whole a teacher at the National Junior College Foundation Private Etislandia Medan, with large samples taken of 50 people. Validity of test results as a test run for the variables X1, X2, and Y be seen that the whole grain questionnaire items is valid, so the whole grain questionnaire items variables X1, X2, and Y in the study actually no one autumn. The results of the reliability test on a trial for the variables X1, X2, and Y appears that constructs question variable factors X1, X2, and Y is very relibel. Based on the results of a frequency distribution known that the tendency of the respondents in answer to of questionnaires for the variables X1 is High, for variable X2 is Extremely High, and to the variable Y is Quite / Medium.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang interaksi antara aspek-aspek kehidupan sehingga tergambar kondisi ketahanan Nasional di Kabupaten Karo.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan keluaran, yaitu dengan menganalisa unsure keuletan dan ketangguhan aspek-aspek kehidupan yang meliputi aspek moral Pancasila, Sosial Politik, Sosial Ekonomi, social budaya dan pertahanan keamanan, dimana keuletan dan ketangguhan digambarkan sebagai suatu matriks dan vektor.Dari hasil analisa data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa secara keseluruhan kondisi ketahanan Nasional di Daerah Tingkat II Karo dalam aspek moral Pancasila, Sosial Politik, Sosial Ekonomi, Sosial Budaya dan Pertahanan Keamanan masuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The study was conducted in order to determine the negative effects of watching cartoons on television Spongebob Squarepants the learning achievement of Indonesian students in class V SD Negeri 067 952 Medan Johor. The study populations were students of class V SD Negeri Johor Medan 067952 2011/2012 academic year as many as two classes for a total of 60 students. The sample in this study were 60 students or total unit population. The instrument used was a questionnaire as many as 10 of the questions that have been declared valid and reliable and documentation study (value of report cards). The sample were analyzed using statistical correlation Pearson Product Moment and t-test. The research found students habits of watching cartoons on TV Spongebob Squarepants classified as moderate with an average score of 19.5 and value questionnaire learning achievement of Indonesian students an average of 73.52, or quite enough. The hypothesis testing results obtained r xy = -0.269 and-t = -2.217. Results obtained determination coefficient calculation I = 7.24%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a negative effect of watching cartoons on television on student achievement class V SD Negeri 067952 Medan Johor Academic Year 2011/2012. Habits students watch cartoon Spongebob Squarepants on TV had a negative impact of 7.24% on the learning achievement of Indonesian students with the regression equation Y = 86.463 - 0,6639X. It gives the sense that the more often or are accustomed students Spongebob Squarepants watching cartoons on TV, the lower the learning achievement of Indonesian students who achieved it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Moodle's LMS (Learning Management System) media on student learning outcomes and activity levels. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling technique, namely students who took the research methodology course. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test instrument. From the data analysis, it was obtained that the students' pretest average score was 55.76 and the standard deviation was 7.13 with the highest score of 75 and the lowest was 46. After the material was taught from the post-test results, it was obtained an average of 90.26 and a standard deviation of 1.75 with the highest score of 94 and the lowest of The average level of student activity was 68.98 and a standard deviation of 2.65 with the highest score of 95 and the lowest was 79. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of Moodle's LMS (Learning Management System) media in learning had a positive impact on student learning outcomes and activities.

Abstract

The research problem is the low student learning outcomes in the material magnetic and non magnetic objects in the fourth grade elementary school Kabanjahe 040 445. This research was conducted with the aim to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects and non-magnetic material magnetically objects using the method of inquiry. Subjects in the study were students in the fourth grade elementary school Kabanjahe 040 445 Academic Year 2016/2017 amounted to 53 people, consisting of 25 men and 28 women. The research was conducted during the second cycle with the same time, ie 2 x 35 minutes. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation (observation) and the phase of reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests.Results of votes on the first cycle the average value of 53 students reached 66.79 and the number of students who pass the corresponding KKM as many as 30 people or 57%, while that did not complete there are 23 people or 43%, due to the number of students in classical yet complete then resumed to the next cycle. In the second cycle of the number of students 53 people obtained the number of students who completed their study in accordance KKM many as 47 students or 88.7%, while the incomplete learning there are 6 students or 11.3% with an average of 82.64.

Abstract

Motivation is an impulse that comes from within a person to be able to manifest actions in producing a goal. As for the urge to do something, it can achieve certain needs. Learning outcomes are abilities that are contained in students that will be obtained from students from experience during learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of physical education in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study using the google form application. This research is a study involving a sample with a population of 35 students. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation. The results showed that: (1) the average / mean learning motivation of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi was 60.77 or in the moderate category, (2) the average / mean learning outcomes of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi was 80 , 77 or in the moderate category, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in the Physical Education Subject of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. This is indicated by the magnitude of the calculated r value is greater than r table (0.512> 0.375) and the significance value is 0.000, which means less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze whether difference inrcease: Positive Attitude of students who are recieved PBL approach assisted Cabri 3D better than who are recieved direct instruction. Type of this study is semi experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was class X of SMA Santu Petrus Sidikalang then randomly selected two classes. Data was analyzed using analyze of covariance (Anacova). The main result of this study are difference inrcease: Of Positive Attitude of students who are recieved PBL approach assisted Cabri 3D better than who are recieved direct instruction. Researchers suggest: Problem basedlearning approach assisted Cabri 3D can be used as an alternative for implementing innovative math learning to increasing positive attitude of students toward mathematics.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to explore the ethnomathematics that exist in the traditional game, namely the engklek game. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The data collection technique is done by triangulation (combined) through direct observation, documentation, and literature study through journals on the internet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The author chose to conduct research at SDN 101916 Araskabu (the engklek game is still being cultivated) and SMP N 6 in the application of engklek as a medium for learning mathematics. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that in the traditional engklek game there is ethnomathematics. The ethnomathematics is obtained based on several aspects of the engklek game, namely based on the ethnomathematical game area contained in it, namely flat shapes, number lines, congruence and similarity, nets, and reflexes. In the Gaco form, the ethnomathematics contained in it is a flat-built mathematical element. Meanwhile, based on the determination of the player's lineage, there are ethnomathematics which are opportunities, and based on the rules of the ethnomathematics engklek game contained therein, namely logical concepts related to implications. By applying the traditional engklek game as a learning medium, students will be interested and motivated in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar matematika terutama pada materi pembagian bilangan campuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa menghitung, kesulitan menghitung, dan faktor penyebab kesulitan menghitung bilangan campuran di kelas V SD Negeri 068003 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Sebagai populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang mengumpulkan 29 orang dan sekaligus sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dan wawancara, analisis data menggunakan rumus rata-rata dan kriteria penilaian.Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 068003 Medan diperoleh bahwa; (1) kemampuansiswa menghitung bilangan bilangan campuran berkriteria rendah, (2) kesulitan menghitung bilangan bilangan campuran adalah memahami, dalam keterampilan, dan dalam memecahkan masalah yang ketiganya berkriteria, (3) faktor yang menyebabkan menghitung bilangan campuran adalah sikap dalam belajar, berkriteria rendah, motivasi belajar berkriteria sedang, dan minat belajar berkriteria sedang.
