Abstract

This research aims to explain the benefits of prostitution localization if it is managed well by the regional government as part of the source of local revenue but in terms of the moral and ethical aspects of the community. The background of this research is because the government is unable to overcome prostitution problems in the region and this problem has long been unable to be resolved and becomes a controversial issue within the community, then the government can take positive and cooperative attitudes by utilizing it as a source of local revenue. This research was conducted in Bandar Baru Village. Deli Serdang Regency where prostitution often occurs in this environment but is not a localization of prostitution, in the sense that prostitution activities in the village are illegal and do not contribute significantly to the local treasury. The data collection technique used is Observation where observation is a way of seeing or observing an event from the outside to the inside and then describing it exactly as what is seen and observed. Observation is not limited to vision (visual), but the experience gained from hearing. The observation made was participation observation. Observation of participation with the technique "part time participant observer" was chosen so that researchers can be directly involved in the field without having to stay in the field. Thus the data can be obtained objectively and planned.

Abstract

This studied aims to analyze the differences between student learning outcomes taught by using the guided inquiry compared to the Direct Instruction learning models. This research is quasi-experimental. The study population was students of Quality University of Medan in semester V of the odd school year 2019/2020. The sampling technique was using cluster random sampling consisting of two classes with a total sample of 67 people. From the research results obtained, it can be concluded that there are differences in the Guided Inquiry learning model and the Direct Instruction model in improving the learning outcomes of student research methodologies. Where classes taught using the guided inquiry learning model have higher learning outcomes compared to classes taught using the direct learning model (Direct Instruction).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA. Lokasi penelitian di SD Negeri 107404 Samberijo Timur Kec. Percut Sei Tuan Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Sebagai populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 32 orang dan sekaligus sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji-t dengan taraf signifikan (α)  = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  (1) rerata skor data kebiasaan belajar siswa diperoleh 82.07 dan berkriteria cukup, (2) rerata skor data hasil belajar IPA diperoleh 73.56 dan berkriteria sedang, (3) Kebiasaan belajar memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar IPA 72.25%, dan (4) ada hubungan yang signifikan kebiasaan belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA.

Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the differences between aplication of cooperative learning model and individual model using Mini Lab in biology class withs the topic reproduction system in private schools in Medan. The metodology that using in this research is experimental method with application of cooperative learning model at class XI-A SMA YPI and at class XI-A SMA AL-washliyah, then at class XI-B SMA YPI and at class XI-B SMA AL-washliyah using individual model. The data was collected with the observation sheet, and biology test.Before hypotheses test, previously noemaly test and homogenety test were done, The result show that sample was taken from homogenic and normality population.From the data analysa showed the mean of biology test with appliction of cooperative learning model is 7,61 and standart deviation is 0,34, Meanwhile the mean of biology test with aplication of individual learning model is 6,09 and standart deviation is 0,34. Then hypotheses test with t test show hitung > t table, then ho is rejected and alternatife is excepted.The result show that there is significat difference of learning achievement the application of cooperative learning model and individual model using mini lab in private schools in Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh video animasi terhadap peningkatan minat siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar siswa MIS Al-Khairat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek yang digunakan adalah siswa sekolah dasar MIS Al-Khairat. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video animasi yang digunakan oleh siswa dapat mempengaruhi minat belajar mereka dan meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris terutama kosakata mereka. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan oleh skor yang diperoleh siswa pada setiap siklus seperti pada tes orientasi hanya 59,4% tingkat keberhasilan yang siswa peroleh, siklus I meningkat menjadi 68%, siklus II mengalami peningkatan dari siklus sebelumnya menjadi 72,2%.

Abstract

Research conducted in SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan aims to find out whether the application of Group Investigation Methods using GoeGebra can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) in grade VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan.This type of research is a quasi-experimental research, where from two classes selected as a sample that is class VIIIA as experimental class and class VIIIB as control.From the data analysis, it was found that the data of both groups were normal distribution and the two groups were homogeneous samples, before the data were obtained before the test was done by t test. From the results of statistical calculations t with a significant level α = 0.05 obtained tcount = 3.43. Furthermore tcount is consulted with ttable with dk = 78 obtained ttable = 1,994 turns thitung> ttabel this means H0 rejected and Ha accepted so that it can be concluded that from the calculation results can be known there is a significantdifference between student learning outcomes taught by Group Investigation ModelLearning using GeoGebra and Conventional learning. on the subject of the Two-VariableLinear Equation System in class VIII SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in solving division problems. This research was conducted in early September with the research location at SD Citra Kasih Cendana, Tanjung Morawa District. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and interviews. After analyzing the data on the results of the study, the calculation of the average grade IV SD Citra Kasih Cendana SD Tanjung Morawa District to understand the material division of Mathematics subjects obtained a value of 61.25 and was included in the Underprivileged category, Analysis of the learning difficulties of grade IV students in distribution material at SD Citra Kasih Cendana, Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict, the academic year 2020 is that students do not really like learning division operations, they do not understand the steps in carrying out the distribution, and there are still students who have not memorized the distribution so that students still experience difficulties in operations division. The factors that cause learning difficulties in fourth grade students in the distribution material at SD Citra Kasih Cendana, Tanjung Morawa District, the 2020 academic year are internal factors, namely talents and interests, motivation and enthusiasm for learning, hyperactivity and students do not understand the material well, while the external factor is the teacher. rarely checks or assesses student learning outcomes that students have done in class, and the teacher's way of teaching is still not appropriate in the learning they teach.

Abstract

Film Filosofi Kopi (2015) tells the story of a coffee farm boy who since childhood he grew up on a coffee plantation he named Ben (Chico Jericho). However, at the age of 12 years, Ben went to leave his parents until he met with Jody (Rio Dewanto) and both were immediately familiar and they were good friends. The research design used by writer is literature study method (qualitative). In this study, researchers collect data by recording based on the dialogue contained in the film and the methods used in collecting data is the method of referring (Sudaryanto, 1993: 133). The technique used in this method, namely Techniques Free Libat Cawap. Data analysis is done by comprehending the story thoroughly, identifying and clarifying all data based on the subject matter, and concluding the result of data analysis so that it can be explained clearly. The results of this study, namely 1) The value of friendship that is perceptible in the film Filosofi Kopi, namely the existence of interdependence between Jody with Ben. Dependence exists in the form of mutual need, either emotionally as a friend or professionally between coffee shop entrepreneurs with the most reliable coffee makers.

Abstract

With this era of increasingly developing technology, learning programs are directed to be able to make better use of technology. One of the current uses of technology is e-Learning using the web to access it. There is no denying that many students now have smart phones, so it is easier to access them from wherever they are and at any time. Utilization of e-learning that is commonly developed today is using LMS (Learning Management System). Quality Berastagi University is one of the universities that have utilized e-Learning as a learning medium this semester. Learning activities using e-learning media on campus utilize the E-Learing application. In the learning process, students are given assignments by the lecturer and send the results of their reports via E-Learning. In addition, students are also given additional material in order to understand more broadly the material that may not be conveyed directly when face to face in class. E-learning is an alternative media to provide test exam questions and improvised media that do not always use print media. Based on the above phenomenon, it can be said that in the learning process, a method, strategy, media, or learning model is needed that can train students' abilities in improving learning outcomes, involving student activities optimally, and making mathematics learning more meaningful and fun. Lecturers are required to choose learning media that can stimulate the enthusiasm of each student to be actively involved in their learning experience. This study aims to determine student learning activities increase with E-Learning learning media in the PGSD Study Program, Quality Berastagi University.

Abstract

This research was conducted in two cycles i.e. cycles I executed on September 21, 2017 and cycle II on September 28, 2017. The results of the research cycle I obtained the results of the implementation of the study on teacher's activity, namely value 59.5% category enough, whereas the activity of the students that is 68 by category is enough. Ketuntasan learning outcomes students individually in accordance with specified i.e. KKM 65, students who complete the 14 people while the students aren't tunta 10 people.Student learning outcomes in student mastery of classical obtained 58.33% and its not finished 41.66%. student learning results silkus I haven't been fullest thus continued in the next cycle. The results of the research on cycle II obtained the results of the implementation of the study on teacher's activity, namely the value of 85.5% by category either. Student learning outcomes Ketuntasan retrieved 21 people has been completed and three people who are not completely. Student learning outcomes in student mastery of classical obtained 87.5% and its not finished 12.5%.
