This study aims to examine the influence of fear of missing out (FoMO) and narcissism on Instagram addiction. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach. The respondents were 100 students of Faculty of Forestry at X University, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the Instagram addiction scale, which was adapted from the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS), the Single Item FoMO Scale, and the Narcissistic Grandiosity Scale. Data were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed that FoMO and narcissism simultaneously influence Instagram addiction. FoMO and narcissism partially have a significant influence. Higher levels of FoMO or narcissism were associated with more severe addiction to Instagram, and vice versa. Results suggest that higher education institutions may benefit from intervention programs, such as trainings on self-management and social media use

This study examines the effect of forgiveness and self-acceptance on the quality of life of college students using quantitative methods. The subjects were 93 Faculty of Engineering, University of X in Samarinda students selected through probability sampling. Data were collected using a scale of quality of life, forgiveness, and self-acceptance, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that: (1) there is a significant effect of forgiveness and self-acceptance on the quality of life, with an F-count value = 77.909 > F-table = 3.10 and a p-value = 0.000, and a contribution of influence (R²) of 63.4%; (2) there is no significant positive effect of forgiveness on the quality of life, with a beta coefficient (β) = 0.089, t-count = 1.190 < t-table = 1.986, and a p-value = 0.237 (p > 0.05); (3) there is a significant influence of self-acceptance on quality of life, with a beta coefficient (β) = 0.746, t-count = 9.953 > t-table = 1.986, and p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This study confirms the importance of forgiveness and self-acceptance in improving students' quality of life.

This study examines the effectiveness of growth mindset psychoeducation using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 18 sixth-grade students at "X" elementary school, Bandung. Results showed significant improvement in self-regulated learning (SRL) forethought (Z = -2,74 p < 0,05) and a significant influence of growth mindset on SRL (R² = 0,636 F = 27,97 p < 0,01). This study provides insight that growth mindset can enhance forethought phase, helping students facing transition. Elementary school students should apply growth mindset strategies, such as setting SMART goals, while schools should support these efforts. Future research should include control groups and parental perspectives.

This study aims to examine the impact of parenting stress experienced by fathers on children’s negative emotional behavior. This cross-sectional study involved 180 fathers with children aged 4-6 years selected using a non-probability sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires administered via Google Forms. Data validity and reliability were assessed using expert judgment and field testing. Data were analyzed using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) through outer model analysis, inner model analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that 56.1% of children’s negative emotional behavior was influenced by parenting stress experienced by fathers. The results suggest that fathers, as heads of households, should adopt positive parenting practices and eliminate stressors while caring their children.

This research aims to predict the relationship between subjective well-being, resilience, and self-efficacy on the intention to pursue higher education in Central Kalimantan, addressing a research gap in this region. It employed the theory of planned behavior. The research used a quantitative correlational method with psychological scales as instruments. The sample consisted of 319 twelfth-grade high school students. Results indicated that all three variables successfully predicted the intention to pursue higher education, with resilience making the largest contribution (44.9%). These findings improve our understanding of the psychological factors influencing the intention to pursue higher education in Central Kalimantan
