Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan hasil penerapan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran menulis teks crita cekak/cerkak kelas XI SMA LAB SCHOOL UPGRIS. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang minatnya siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerkak berbahasa Jawa dan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai sehingga kurang antusiasnya dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dengan demikian, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah hasil penerapan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita cekak/cerkak. penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian pre-eksperimental berupa one shot case study. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, karena data yang diperoleh dihitung secara statistik, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif yaitu dengan mendiskripsikan hasil perhitungan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa purposive sampling, dan data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara pengambilan dokumentasi dan angket (kuisioner). Setelah dilakukannya analisis data, diperoleh analisis data diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: 1) Pada aspek pengetahuan terdapat 5 siswa dengan presentase 19% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu sebanyak sebanyak 20 siswa dengan presentase 74% dengan kategori baik. Kemudian sebanyak 2 siswa dengan presentase 7% dengan kategori cukup. Dari presentase tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kategori nilai siswa pada aspek pengetahuan terbilang baik sesuai dengan pedoman penilaian yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 80,74. 2) Pada aspek keterampilan terdapat sebanyak 4 siswa dengan presentase 15% mendapatkan nilai dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu sebanyak 19 siswa dengan presentase 70% memperoleh nilai dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan sebanyak 4 siswa dengan presentase 15% mendapatkan nilai dengan kategori cukup. Dari presentase tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kategori nilai siswa terbilang baik sesuai dengan pedoman penilaian yaitu dengan rata-rata sebesar 78,88. Dengan demikian penerapan model Project Based Learning pembelajaran menulis teks cerkak pada kelas XI SMA LAB SCHOOL UPGRIS dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap ketercapaian pembelajaran

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of students' interest in the text of Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Pangkur which only contains chapters and complete sentences. Thus, the formulation of the problem can be formed as a result of applying the discovery learning model assisted by the rotating wheel media in Wedhatama's fibrous text repetition learning. Pupuh Pangkur for class X students of Mataram Mataram Vocational School in the 2022 academic year/2023 academic year. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of applying the Spinning Wh eel in learning and studying the text of Wedhatama Pupuh Pangkur. This research includes descriptive quantitative research, because the data obtained is calculated in a quantitative descriptive manner by presenting the results of data calculations. The source of this research data is the results of student scores in learning the Wedhatama Pupuh Pangkur fiber text. The technique used for data collection is testing and testing techniques. Sampling in this study using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the data analysis above, the results of this study can be stated: 1) Class X Culinary 1 does not use a Spinning Wheel, so students get bored easily when distributing material. 2) In Class X Culinary 1 using the Spinning Wheel, students tend to be enthusiastic and focus on the material presented.

Abstract

The music industry is currently thriving with new songs popularized by young musicians. One striking example is Bernadya's Terlintas album, which presents a number of popular songs thanks to its lyrics that attract listeners' attention. This study aims to analyze the use of language styles in the lyrics of the songs on Terlintas album and explore the meaning contained in them. The three songs studied in this research are “Satu Bulan”, “Apa Mungkin”, and “Terlintas”. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through listening and note-taking techniques. The data obtained from the song lyrics were then analyzed using Keraf's (2006) stylistic theory, which distinguishes stylistic language based on direct and indirect meaning. The results show that there are three types of dominant language styles in the song lyrics, namely comparison, affirmation, and figurative language styles. Comparative language style is seen through the use of figures of speech such as metaphor, hyperbole, personification, and symbolism, which function to enrich meaning and create new images for listeners. Meanwhile, oppositional language style appears in the form of subtle criticism through irony and allusion. This research confirms that the use of language styles in song lyrics has an important role in exploring deeper meanings and strengthening the emotional message that the songwriter wants to convey. Therefore, song lyrics not only function as a means of entertainment, but also as a medium to convey ideas and feelings in a more complex manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggali makna semiotik makanan dalam tradisi slametan kematian di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Slametan 40 hari setelah meninggal merupakan momen yang kaya makna dan spiritualitas dalam budaya Jawa, mencerminkan pemahaman mendalam terhadap proses peralihan roh dan kebutuhan spiritual. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami hubungan antara makanan, budaya, dan identitas dalam konteks tradisi slametan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika dari Charles Sanders Pierce. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makanan dalam slametan tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan biologis, tetapi juga membawa nilai-nilai sosial, simbolik, dan historis yang memperkaya tradisi masyarakat Jawa. Makanan di dalam slametan menjadi media untuk memperkuat ikatan antar-anggota keluarga dan masyarakat, sambil mencerminkan keyakinan spiritual dalam peralihan kehidupan setelah kematian.Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana masyarakat Jawa memberikan makna dan simbol terhadap jenis-jenis makanan dalam tradisi slametan. Pemahaman ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pelestarian warisan budaya dan kearifan lokal, serta memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang identitas kolektif, ritual, dan interaksi sosial dalam praktek makanan di masyarakat tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan media aplikasi canva dalam pembelajaran menulis teks iklan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Mataram Semarang. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi karena dikarenakan masih terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang masih sulit dalam menuangkan ide, menuangkan kreativitasnya, kurangnya kosa kata yang dimiliki serta rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik dalam menulis teks iklan menggunakan bahasa Jawa, sehingga peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran menulis. Pada penelitian kali ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif, sedangkan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental design yang berupa one-shot case study dengan hanya melibatkan satu kelompok tanpa harus dilakukan pengambilan sampel. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner (angket) disertai dengan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pada uji kompetensi aspek pengetahuan diperoleh presentase 87% atau sejumlah 14 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai tuntas diatas KKM dan 2 anak atau 13% mendapatkan nilai tidak tuntas. Dari perolehan tersebut didapatkan nilai rat-rata akhir sebesar 86,25. 2) pada uji kompetensi aspek keterampilan memperoleh presentase sebesar 69% atau sejumlah 11 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai tuntas dan 31% dengan jumlah 5 anak mendapatkan nilai tidak tuntas. Dari perolahn data tersebut diperoleh nilai rata-rata akhir sebesar 86,3 pada aspek ketrampilan. Berdasrkan analisis data yang diperoleh, pembelajaran menulis teks iklan dengan media aplikasi canva memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran menulis teks iklan pada siswa kelas XI.2 SMA Mataram Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak Bahasa daerah merupakan bagian penting dari identitas dan kebudayaan suatu bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah, keterhubungan, dan kaidah Bahasa Sunda, serta menganalisis bentuk kearifan lokal yang mendukung pembelajarannya di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menelaah penerapan muatan lokal Bahasa Sunda sebagai upaya pelestarian bahasa dan budaya daerah. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di SDN Cadasari 3 Kabupaten Pandeglang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda di sekolah dasar memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai budaya, membangun karakter, dan memperkuat identitas daerah. Kegiatan seperti Festival Tunas Bahasa Ibu (FTBI) menjadi sarana efektif dalam menumbuhkan semangat siswa untuk melestarikan bahasa Sunda sekaligus memperkaya pengalaman belajar berbasis budaya lokal. Selain itu, inovasi digitalisasi pembelajaran melalui platform learningsundanese.com membantu guru menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Upaya pelestarian juga diperkuat dengan penyediaan bahan ajar berbasis budaya, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta kolaborasi antara sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pelestarian bahasa daerah di sekolah dasar tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek linguistik, tetapi juga menjadi sarana pewarisan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan pembentukan jati diri peserta didik agar tetap bangga terhadap budaya bangsanya di tengah arus globalisasi.Kata Kunci:  Bahasa daerah, Bahasa Sunda, kearifan lokal, pelestarian budaya. AbstractRegional languages are an important part of a nation's identity and culture. This study aims to describe the history, interconnectedness, and rules of the Sundanese language, as well as to analyze the forms of local wisdom that support its learning in elementary schools. Furthermore, this study also examines the application of local Sundanese language content as an effort to preserve regional languages and culture. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques at SDN Cadasari 3, Pandeglang Regency. The results show that Sundanese language learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in instilling cultural values, building character, and strengthening regional identity. Activities such as the Mother Language Shoots Festival (FTBI) are an effective means of fostering students' enthusiasm for preserving Sundanese while enriching their learning experiences based on local culture. Furthermore, innovation in digital learning through the learningsundanese.com platform helps teachers deliver more interactive and relevant learning. Preservation efforts are also strengthened by the provision of culture-based teaching materials, extracurricular activities, and collaboration between schools, teachers, parents, and the community. Thus, the preservation of regional languages in elementary schools does not only focus on linguistic aspects, but also becomes a means of inheriting local wisdom values and forming students' identities so that they remain proud of their national culture amidst the current of globalization.Keywords: Regional languages, Sundanese, local wisdom, cultural preservation.

Abstract

This study describes the female leadership style taken by the female figure in the short story or short story entitled Sang Mayoret by Soegiyono MS published by Djaka Lodang Number 03 on Saturday Legi, 19 June 2021. In this study the author uses feminism theory. Feminism is a women's movement that calls for emancipation or equality and justice for men. In this research, the writer uses qualitative method with literature study. By collecting information on literature review journals of feminism theory in the form of essays, research reports and electronic books that are relevant to the problems being studied. From the discussion, two types of leadership styles can be drawn, namely the feminine leadership style and the masculine leadership style.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low percentage of students' completeness in writing Javanese script skills in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 36 Semarang. The factors that cause students' low level of mastery in writing Javanese script are the use of learning methods that are still conventional so that the center of learning is the teacher which causes students to become less active, in addition to the students' view that Javanese script material is material that is very difficult to learn. This research is a type of classroom action research (PTK). The data obtained in this research was collected using tests and non-tests. Tests are given to measure students' cognitive abilities, while non-tests are used as supporting data which is carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative description. Quantitative data analysis techniques were used to analyze the results of the Javanese script writing skills test in the form of students' mastery scores which were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the data obtained, the initial condition at the time of giving the pre-test was that only 7 or 22,59% of students had completed writing skills. After being given treatment using the Drill and Practice method, students' writing skills improved, from the first cycle test to the post test in cycle two, they continued to show improvement. The final results of the second cycle post test showed that there were 23 or 74.19% of students who had completed Javanese script writing skills. Thus, it can be said that the Drill and Practice method contributes to efforts to improve Javanese script writing skills in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 36 Semarang.

Abstract

The Asrah Batin tradition is a regional tradition that is still ongoing today. The Asrah Batin tradition is a social phenomenon that needs attention from the community. Therefore, it is necessary to examine to find out the form, function, and meaning of this tradition. The problems studied are related to the Asrah Batin tradition, namely (1) how is the form, function and meaning of the Asrah Batin tradition for the supporting community. The aims of this study are (1) to describe the form, function and meaning of the Asrah Batin tradition. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using a folklore approach. The results of the research are (1) The forms in the Asrah Batin tradition are divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, the highlight of the event, and the closing event. In the preparation stage, the Gebyuk, Tuba, and Nyekar events were carried out. At the peak of the event there is a procession of sasrahan, panggih, wisuhan, reading of the history of Asrah Batin, Selametan (Kembul Bujana), Munggut, and srah-srahan. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony was performed with a tayub dance performance. (2) the functions of the existence of the Asrah Batin tradition for the supporting community are religious functions, educational functions, social and cultural functions, economic functions, and entertainment functions. (3) The symbolic meaning contained in the Asrah Batin tradition is the symbols in ubarampe. The symbols contained in ubarampe generally contain the meaning of hope and prayer to God, mutual forgiveness, advice to maintain kinship, maintain self-purity and ask for safety and blessings. The conclusions in this study are (1) The forms in the Asrah Batin tradition are divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, the highlight of the event, and the closing event. (2) the functions of the existence of the Asrah Batin tradition for the supporting community are religious functions, educational functions, social and cultural functions, economic functions, and entertainment functions. (3) the meaning of the Asrah Batin tradition is in the form of symbolic meaning contained in the ubarampe used in the Asrah Batin tradition. The segatumpeng symbol has the meaning of three stages of human life, namely starting from still in the womb, life in the world, and death. These three stages must always be remembered by humans, because everything will return to Allah, ingkung means human submission to God and asking for forgiveness and being given safety, wedhak boreh ix has the meaning that people who hold salvation or ceremonial rituals are given safety and blessings.

Abstract

The issue discussed in this research is the characteristics and meaning of the mitoni of Kaligangsa Kulon Brebes Village, Central Java. This research aims to reveal the characteristics of the Mitoni tradition found in Central Java as a type of oral literature. The characteristics of the mitoni tradition in Central Java can be described and analyzed through Ruth Finnegan's theory which relates to the components of an oral literary tradition. This study is expected and aimed at being able to create cultural characteristics and revive the Mitoni tradition which may now be alienated due to the influence or impact of globalization and modernization. The things studied in this research are the components of the mitoni tradition, which are: speakers, props, participants and prayer readings. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection carried out in this research was interviews.
