Abstract

Coconut plantations (Cocos nucifera) are one of the leading commodities of estate crops in Pinrang and these plants are more numerous than other plants in community plantations. However, the role of coconut as a raw material for cooking oil, is currently sinking and displaced by the presence of palm oil commodities. Utilization of by-products has not been done much by farmers, so the added value of farming has not been obtained optimally. Even though many processed products from coconut have the potential to provide high added value, as well as in creating jobs. Lately, virgin coconut oil has also developed, namely VCO (Virgin coconut oil) which is a food supplement and also a medicine. Farmer groups in Pinrang district are one of the farmer groups that have problems with coconut income, namely the use of coconuts has not been maximized and its storage capacity is relatively short. To overcome this problem, the community service team from Makassar State University and the coconut farmers group in Pinrang district discussed the process of managing coconut. The target is expected to be achieved after the implementation of whether community service activities through the coconut oil into VCO program will be able to produce VCO with better quantity and quality, so that the maximum results can expand its business by diversifying coconut products into VCO for health. This research was conducted through two stages, namely the provision of material about VCO and its use, and guidance in making VCO. Based on the results obtained, most people understand the VCO material delivered and are able to make the VCO.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out to the community of Pattallassang Village, Labakkang District, Pangkajene Regency and the Islands. This service is carried out in the form of training on maintenance and repair of household electrical appliances. The purpose of community service activities is to provide service to the community by providing training on: how to care for household electrical appliances in general, diagnose damage, and repair damage based on diganosa. The material provided in this training activity included: maintenance of household electrical appliances, repair of damage to household electrical appliances, operation of household electrical appliances, and installation of household electrical appliances. Implementation of community service regarding household electrical appliances went smoothly. Community service activities produce results; increased participant's knowledge of the benefits of maintaining electrical equipment, increased participant's knowledge of damage diagnoses, and increased participant's knowledge of correct household electrical appliances repairs.

Abstract

The PKM program is carried out by the method of providing training and guidance to participants regarding classroom action research (PTK) to improve the quality of the learning process with the aim of (1) to improve the quality of the learning process, (2) participants can implement well compile classroom action research (PTK) , and (3) participants can disseminate or disseminate classroom action research (PTK) knowledge. The main target audience for the PKM Program activities are school supervisors, school principals and school teachers in Tinggimoncong sub-district, Gowa district, South Sulawesi province. The results obtained in PKM program activities are increased knowledge and concept of classroom action research (PTK) participants of PKM programs, increased classroom action research skills (PTK) PKM program participants, PKM program participants can make examples and arrange classroom action research (PTK) in class learning, and PKM program participants can implement classroom action research (PTK) in learning in schools. Other results obtained were increased motivation of participants in knowing class action research material (PTK) and high enthusiasm of participants in disseminating or disseminating PKM program results, especially classroom action research material (PTK). Outputs of PKM activities are (1) increasing participant's knowledge regarding activity materials, (2) scientific articles published at national seminars, and (3) publications on PKM implementation on online media.

Abstract

There are districts Bantaeng Kalambaung cattle farmer groups engaged in development. Beef cattle development of the livestock industry  beef cattle group are still simple with the feed forage. Available the community institutions be implement iptek devotion for the ( IbW ) relating to priority is the capacity to the problems of farmers  and the utilization of technology in the development of beef  cattle adoption of the technology still low. In addition , assess the potential this area as agricultural area rice and corn , so production waste rice and corn of abundant during harvest .The excavation and  focus group discussions with farmers , information was obtained that rice straw and corn very abundant in during harvest time and not do the processing of feed rice straw and corn to be used as a source of animal feed at present dry season so as to feed not available a sustainable. He did not processing feed rice straw and corn because the farmers doesnt know and understand and consider also that rice straw and corn less popular by cattle.  Activity program devotion IbW this with focuses on capacity building farmers by using all the potential here resources owned by the community to be a worth added , with introduce knowledge and technology owned by college with do technology transfer and assistance , implemented activities on the IbW is to do a variety of training and demonstration process technology straw for fodder .The results of products devotion the community difussion more wider at the community through products exhibition innovation in order cooperation with the local government of  Bantaeng Regency. Activities received an enthusiastically by the community and regional government , with middle and teaching animal breeders to use the potential the region that is to become as fodder .The outcome of the activities it gave solution in solve the problems faced by farmers especially in the delivery of fodder chiefly beef cattle and goats.

Abstract

The PKM program is carried out by the method of providing training and guidance to participants regarding the preparation of HOTS level questions to increase activities in carrying out learning with the aim of (1) to improve the quality of evaluation tools, (2) participants can implement properly compiling HOTS level questions in the learning process, and (3) participants can disseminate or disseminate knowledge about HOTS level questions. The main target audience for the PKM Program activities are school supervisors, school principals and school teachers in Tinggimoncong sub-district, Gowa district, South Sulawesi province. The results obtained in PKM program activities are increased knowledge and concept of HOTS level questions for PKM program participants, increased skill in preparing HOTS level questions for PKM program participants, PKM program participants can make examples and arrange HOTS level questions in learning class , and PKM program participants can implement the preparation of HOTS level questions in learning at school. Other results obtained were increased motivation of participants in knowing the materials for formulating HOTS level questions and the high enthusiasm of participants in disseminating or disseminating PKM program results, especially in the formulation of HOTS level questions. Outputs of PKM activities are (1) increasing participant's knowledge regarding activity materials, (2) scientific articles published at national seminars, and (3) publications on PKM implementation on online media.

Abstract

Level B1-German Language Training for IGBJI (Association of German Language Teachers in Makassar). The training aims to provide German Language Teachers with knowledge and understanding of Gemeinsamer europäischer Referenzrahmen für Sprachen as a foothold in international level  mastery and German language test models at level B1. This training is very important to be carried out because the teacher as instructor must know about how the German language test models in B1 level so that they can inform their students. The subjects in this study were German language teachers who were members of the Makassar Branch of the German Language Teachers Association (IGBJI). The training was held from 6 July to 20 July 2019 with the implementation methods namely counseling, training, discussion and simulation. The German language training level B1 for German language teachers was carried out as planned and the results achieved in the community partnership program activities could be categorized as quite adequate. Community service activities are categorized as more than sufficient (70%) because they are judged by the activity of participants participating in the presentation of generally motivated material.

Abstract

The purpose of the training of the use of LKPD physics-based science process skills for students in SMAN 5 Parepare is to train and introduce scientific attitudes and process skills that are science on LKPD High School physics. The methods used are methods of practice, mentoring, and monitoring evaluation on the training of use of LKPD based on Science process skills (KPS). The external resulting from this activity is (i) improve the skills of the students ' science process through the administration of LKPD and (ii) skilled students perform practicum with KPS-based LKPD. The conclusion gained from this activity is (i) the knowledge of the students of SMAN 5 Parepare about the KPS-based LKPD increasing and (ii) the motivation and ability of the students to practice with the KPS-based LKPD increases.

Abstract

Partners in this dedication activity are students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Department of Foreign Language Education, FBS UNM. The problem is: (1) Students have not been able to design class action research proposals, (2) Students have not been able to carry out classroom action research, (3) Facilitators who can direct problems in the learning process are still limited. The method used in counseling, training, simulation, and discussion. The results achieved are (1) Partner students have the ability to carry out making classroom action research; (2) Students already have the ability to make classroom action research; (3) Partner students who have attended training or counseling can be facilitators for students who have not participated in counseling. The implementation of the classroom action research training for students of the Arabic language study program was carried out as planned and the results achieved in the community partnership program activities could be categorized quite sufficiently. Community service activities are categorized as more than adequate (80%) because they are judged by the active participation of the participants in presenting the material which is generally motivated

Abstract

The main target audience for the PKM Program activities are school supervisors, school principals and school teachers in Tinggimoncong sub-district, Gowa district, South Sulawesi province. Abstract

The purpose of this Talking Stick learning model training program is to train teachers in applying various innovative approaches in the teaching and learning process and increase teachers' insights on the application of varied methods / approaches so as not to give birth to boredom in the teaching process both for teachers themselves and students as participants students. Makassar City has several elementary schools, one of which is the Tidung II Inpres Elementary School with a address at Jalan. Bonto daeng Ngirate No. 10 A Bonto Makkio, Tidung Village, Rappocini District, Makassar City South Sulwesi Provention. Date of Decree of establishment 1910-01-01 with ownership status of the central government with state status, accreditation B and NPSN: 40307522. SD Inpres Tidung II School principal Hasdawati, with 10 permanent teachers and 349 students consisting of 171 men and 179 women . The problems faced by teachers at Makassar's Tidung II Elementary School (Mitra) in the community partnership program are as follows: 1). Teachers still do not understand / know innovative approaches in the learning process.2). Teachers have not optimally applied varied learning so that the learning process is loaded with conventional approaches. Improve students' speaking skills through the Talking stick learning model. The main methods adopted in implementing the community partnership program (PKM) are as follows; the presentation time of the Talking stick learning model material, using the lecture and question and answer method. At the time of the training the application of the process skills approach to the method used was demonstration or practice. Outputs The training activities are (1) Participants have knowledge and add insight into the Talking stick learning model in teaching speaking skills (2) Participants can apply in a more innovative learning process that is the Talking stick learning model (3). Improve students' reading skills through the Talking stick learning model. Based on the results of this training activity, it can be shown that what is proposed in the formulation of the problem can be carried out properly and directed. From the results of these implementation activities get an answer that teachers in participating in this activity are very enthusiastic and the ability of teachers to apply active learning is very good. This valuable opportunity was not wasted even though it was realized that starting from the time and facilities and infrastructure was very limited, but with a strong enthusiasm and encouragement from the school principals, making this activity can take place successfully and was very useful and beneficial. The implementation of this activity was carried out at SD Inpres Tidung II Makassar City for 5 days. The results of the implementation of this activity are the participants have been able to understand and practice the Talking stick learning model as a form of active learning teaching. The conclusions of this training activity are (1) Participants are aware that the material provided is very motivating and diversity in teaching, (2) Participants who participate in the training are all teachers of SD Inpres Tidung II Makassar Municipality and honorary who are experienced enough in learning. And when the training took place they were very enthusiastic in following the training process. The results of this training greatly enrich the knowledge that can be used as provisions for the future.
