Abstract

Rice crop development is a series of efforts and strategies undertaken to increase the productivity, quality, and sustainability of rice production. This study aims to determine the internal and external factors affecting the effectiveness of field school-based mentoring in rice crop development and analyze the effectiveness of field school-based mentoring in rice crop development in Bongohulawa Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency. A total of 50 rice farmers participated in the field school. The analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis and effectiveness analysis. The results showed that internal factors such as age, education level, length of farming, land area, and land ownership status influenced the effectiveness of field school-based mentoring. Meanwhile, external factors such as the role of extension workers and the availability of information also contributed significantly to the effectiveness of field school-based mentoring by 81.2%. The implementation of field school-based mentoring in Bongohulawa Village has been quite effective. This is reinforced by the results of the analysis of each indicator consisting of knowledge, attitudes, and skills having an effectiveness value of 74.24%.

Abstract

Pak choy farming is the organized cultivation of bok choy plants to produce economically valuable agricultural products. This study aims to determine the current state of hydroponic and conventional bok choy cultivation techniques and to compare the feasibility of hydroponic and conventional bok choy farming. A total of 18 bok choy farmers were interviewed. The analysis used in this study was the R/C Ratio and B/C Ratio. The results indicate that both cultivation methods are feasible because they have R/C and B/C ratios above 1. The hydroponic method offers advantages in land use efficiency and environmental control, while the conventional method is more cost-efficient due to lower costs. Each method presents its own challenges, both technically and financially. Therefore, the choice of cultivation method is tailored to the conditions and capabilities of the farmer, as well as the objectives of the farming business.

Abstract

Public consumption of high-quality horticultural products such as hydroponic melons has shown an increasing trend along with growing awareness of a healthy lifestyle, although overall fruit consumption in Indonesia remains relatively low. This commodity requires an efficient supply chain system to maintain product quality and continuity. This study aims to analyze the structure and performance of the hydroponic melon supply chain and evaluate its marketing efficiency at PT Indigen Karya Unggul, Sleman. The research employed a case study method using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving 16 respondents, consisting of suppliers, producers, partner farmers, resellers, and consumers. This study addresses the research gap related to the limited in-depth analysis of high-quality horticultural supply chains such as hydroponic melons at the local company level. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of SCOR analysis with marketing efficiency evaluation through farmer’s share and marketing margin. The results show that supply chain performance based on the attributes of reliability, responsiveness, and flexibility falls under the superior category, while the cost attribute remains high at 61.65% of revenue. The supply chain efficiency is indicated by a farmer’s share of 100% in channel 1 and 56% in channel 2, as well as a marketing margin of IDR 0 in channel 1 and IDR 22,000 in channel 2, showing that channel 1 is proven to be more efficient. Overall, the company is still considered superior in terms of reliability and distribution speed, but improvements are needed in cost efficiency and asset management.

Abstract

The largest cocoa producer is Pasaman Regency, one of which is Padang GelugurDistrict. The main challenge in the sustainability of the cocoa business is thatproduction has not reached its maximum potential. This study aims to 1) Describethe characteristics of cocoa farmers in Padang Gelugur District, Pasaman Regency2) Analyze the factors that influence cocoa production in Padang Gelugur District,Pasaman Regency. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods andquantitative analysis using Cobb-Douglass production function analysisThe resultsshow that 1) Farmers 1) Cocoa farmers in Padang Gelugur District are dominatedby men aged 37 to 40 years with a high school education level, the number of familydependents is 4 to 5 people. Farming experience of 10 to 12 years, monthly incomebetween Rp. 2,900,000 to Rp. 3,583,000. 2) The variables of chemical fertilizer(X1), pesticide (X2), plant age (X3), land area (X4), TKDK (X5), pruning (D1)Control of plant pests and diseases (D2) have a significant effect on cocoaproduction, while TKLK (X6) does not have a significant effect on cocoaproduction.and non-family labor (X8).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran (produk, harga, tempat, dan promosi) terhadap kepuasan konsumen dalam membentuk loyalitas pelanggan sayuran segar di Superindo Kota Pekalongan. Menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data primer melalui kuesioner online dari 150 responden yang merupakan pengunjung Superindo Pekalongan yang telah membeli sayuran segar dalam tiga bulan terakhir. Data dianalisis menggunakan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPls 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga dan promosi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hal ini sejalan dengan temuan bahwa harga menjadi indikator kualitas yang dirasakan konsumen dan promosi menciptakan persepsi nilai tambah. Namun, produk dan tempat tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, kemungkinan karena faktor-faktor ini dianggap sebagai ekspektasi dasar atau standar minimal oleh konsumen. Untuk loyalitas pelanggan, variabel harga dan tempat memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan dan positif. Ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks pembelian sayuran segar, konsumen di Superindo Pekalongan menghargai harga yang kompetitif dan kenyamanan lokasi sebagai faktor kunci dalam membangun loyalitas jangka panjang. Uniknya, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Hal ini menyoroti bahwa loyalitas sejati tidak hanya berasal dari kepuasan sementara, tetapi lebih didorong oleh hubungan jangka panjang dan kepercayaan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa harga dan promosi adalah faktor utama kepuasan, sementara harga dan tempat adalah pendorong langsung loyalitas pelanggan untuk sayuran segar di Superindo Pekalongan.
