Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical and organoleptic quality of lamb jerky marinated using red ginger juice with different concentrations in each treatment. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments included: Without red ginger (P0) as a control, Marinated with 10% red ginger juice (P1), Marinated with 15% red ginger juice (P2), and Marinated with 20% red ginger juice (P3). Physical test parameters include water holding capacity, pH, and cooking loss. Meanwhile, organoleptic test parameters include color, taste, aroma and texture. The results of physical tests in this study showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on water holding capacity, pH and cooking loss. Meanwhile, the organoleptic test results showed that the treatment had a very real influence (P<0.01) on color and texture, but the taste variable in the organoleptic test showed that the treatment did not have a real influence (P>0.05). Marinating using red ginger juice can provide a level of acceptance of the organoleptic properties of lamb jerky, especially in color, aroma and texture

Abstract

Body image is an individual's mental image and subjective views that can affect the sense of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with oneself which is influenced by several factors, one of the factors that affect body image is the intensity of using tik-tok social media. This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of use of tik-tok social media that focuses on content with body image in generation Z. He data collection method was carried out online via google form and distributed via whatsapp and telegram. The sample taken amounted to 206 using incidental sampling technique. The results found that the intensity of using tik-tok social media with fashion, a day in my life and dance content has a very significant positive relationship with body image in generation Z, with r = 0.601 and sig value = 0.000 (p>0.05). Which means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted

Abstract

Ms. Tuminah's Carangmas MSME is a Carangmas home industry located in Sidorahayu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency. Ms. Tuminah's Carangmas MSME produces Carangmas. MSME Carangmas Mrs. Tuminah was established in 2019, to date employs 4 employees. Where the process of making carangmas is still manual and requires a long time during the process. To fulfill an order of 1500-5000 carangmas in one order, it takes up to 3 (three) days in the manufacturing process. Because at this time the MSMEs are still using simple tools, the time needed for the production process is still fairly long. Moreover, there is still the possibility of work accidents in some of the manufacturing processes. The methodology for designing the Crangmas Making Machine begins by surveying the field to observe the production process, collecting and processing working time data to be used as a support to analyze the time, size, and position of body movements, which are carried out by workers in carrying out work activities with old tools., collecting and processing work data with old conditions, designing Carngmas Manufacturing Machines. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data used in assisting the design of the Carangmas Making Machine include qualitative data (interviews), and anthropometric data. From the results of the design of the workings of the carangmas making machine, namely an electric motor with a speed of 1200 rpm as the driving force for the Mixing and Printing tool. Mixing and printing system. The working system of this tool is the motor connected to the main pulley with a V-belt. the Pulley is a transmitted to the stirrer so that the process of the tool can work together with each other. From the results of using the new machine, the standard time calculation is 0.84 kg/minute if the old tool is 0.72 kg/minute so there is an increase in productivity when the increase is 12%.

Abstract

Bali merupakan destinasi wisata kelas dunia dan memiliki beragam pilihan transportasi, termasuk speedboat. Namun dengan bertambahnya perusahaan speedboat menimbulkan persaingan dalam usaha. Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi komunikasi pemasaran personal selling yang diterapkan di PT. Putra Artha Mas Global dalam kegiatan promosi dan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan penggunaan speedboat di Sanur. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana PT. Putra Artha Mas Global mengimplementasikan personal selling untuk mempengaruhi tingkat penggunaan speedboat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan melaksanakan wawancara mendalam terhadap staf pemasaran, resepsionis, dan pelanggan PT. Putra Artha Mass Global. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan oleh peneliti, tim pemasaran PT. Putra Artha Mas Global telah menerapkan beberapa strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang efektif yaitu dengan mengembangkan konsep diri yang dapat membantu dalam membangun citra positif, tujuan komunikasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran calon costumer, dan pengaruh sosial dalam melaksanakan testimoni untuk kegiatan personal selling

Abstract

The development of information and technology has given rise to social media which has now become part of various levels of society, especially young people such as students. The emergence of social media is accompanied by positive and negative impacts which is lead to an urgency to reduce the intensity of its use, one of which is by setting self-regulation. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation and the intensity of social media use among students at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. This research is quantitative research, where data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. The correlation test results show that there is a relationship between self-regulation and the intensity of social media use, where the correlation coefficient of 0.273 is positive, indicating the relationship is at a weak level. The results of data categorization show that respondents' self-regulation is in the medium category as much as 56% and in the high category as much as 44%. Meanwhile, the intensity of social media use in the low category was 2%, in the medium category was 86.7%, and in the high category was 11.3%.

Abstract

In English learning, students must have learner autonomy which means that they are responsible for their own learning by setting learning objectives, selecting learning methods, and evaluating progress. Autonomous learning also involves overcoming learning obstacles independently. This study aims to find out the public health students' perceptions of learner autonomy in English learning through descriptive statistics research, involving 66 respondents using questionnaires and interviews. Perceptions are evaluated in four categories of Learner Autonomy, namely Responsibility, Ability, Motivation, and Learning Activities. The results show that although students are highly motivated and perceived to be good in English ability, they remain teacher-centered and perceive that the teacher has greater responsibility for their learning. The outside-class learning activities were rated “very poor” to “poor” while inside-class learning activities were rated “poor” to “fair”. Public health students need to enhance their learner autonomy since they are good in some categories (ability and motivation), but poor in others (responsibility and learning activities).

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the calculation of optimal production at Nutsafir Cookies Lombok, (2) the determination of the optimal production amount utilizing the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method at Nutsafir Cookies Lombok, and (3) the impact of implementing the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method on the profit obtained by Nutsafir Cookies Lombok. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative study. Data were collected using interview and documentation methods, and analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with a quantitative approach. The results of the research indicate that (1) the calculation of optimal production quantity Nutsafir Cookies Lombok is still based on the number of consumer orders plus 30% of the orders for inventory, with the optimal production quantity for Nutsafir Cookies Lombok in 2023 amounting to 795,016 packages with a total inventory cost of Rp. 82,429,650.00, (2) the optimal production quantity using the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method at Nutsafir Cookies Lombok is 737,556 packages, with an average inventory of 84,820 packages and a total inventory cost of Rp. 76,685,655.00, (3) the impact of implementing the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method on the profit obtained by Nutsafir Cookies Lombok is that the profit obtained by the company increased by Rp. 5,743,345.00 due to the decrease in total inventory costs after applying the optimal production quantity calculation using the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method

Abstract

This paper aims at analyzing errors made by the fourth semester students of Radya Binatama Communication Academy Yogyakarta. Analyzing students’ errors is necessary so that teachers can plan their suitable methods for the students hoping that the errors can be minimized significantly. The data were taken from 33 students attending English 1 Mid-Term Test of the Academic Year 2022/2023. One of the instructions in the test was to write about their unforgettable experience (recount text). This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used four steps: identifying, classifying, describing, and calculating. The errors were classified into two sources of error: interlingual and intralingual errors. Then, the errors were described into four types: misordering, addition, omission and misformation. The result showed from the total 178 errors, the most frequent source of errors was intralingual error: 139 errors (78,09%), interlingual error: 39 (21,91%). Based on the types of errors, misordering occurred 14 times (7,87%), addition 25 times (14,04%), omission 45 times (25,29%) and misformation 94 times (52,80%). These facts can be essentially used by the teacher to focus on what should be revised to improve the quality of teaching and learning significantly.

Abstract

Pegadaian merupakan lembaga perkreditan dengan sistem gadai, selain penyaluran kredit gadai salah satu kegiatan pegadaian lainnya adalah pelelang. Saat ini penyampaian informasi mengenai penjualan barang lelang masih menggunakan SMS broadcast pada nasabah. Untuk mendukung proses lelang pegadaian dibutuhkan suatu sistem berbasis komputer dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet dan media website. . Sistem yang akan dibangun digunakan untuk mengelola proses pelelangan, baik lelang jual maupun lelang beli, serta untuk melakukan penawaran harga dari peserta lelang.

Abstract

Research has been carried out between CNT and Chitosan in a ratio of 1:3 where the results obtained were CNT-Chitosan Nanocomposite (1:3). The results obtained showed that the particle size was 119 nm. The peak intensity is proportional to the graphitization of the CNT-Chitosan Nanocomposite 26.29o, 43.84o and 14.18o. The higher the weight ratio, the more the diffraction peak intensity will decrease. The addition of chitosan to CNT-Chitosan Nanocomposite 1:3 is able to remove impurities
