Abstract

The topic of this research relates to the importance of instilling religious tolerance and customs in basic education. Indonesia is a country of diverse religions, ethnicities, and cultures but the attitude of tolerance in the community is very less applied. This is due to the limited knowledge of the community about the negative impact of the lack of tolerance. The purpose of this study is to understand the role of Islamic education in instilling an attitude of tolerance and togetherness in SD / MI students.  This research method uses literature study by analyzing data from various sources such as books, journals, and scientific articles. The results show that educators not only provide a formal education but must emphasize an attitude that is able to make students understand the importance of tolerance such as embedding Islamic values, learning about diversity and activities that foster tolerance. As a result, it can be understood that Islamic education can help students to understand and practice tolerance and togetherness in the surrounding life and it is hoped that educators can develop more effective educational strategies to instill an attitude of tolerance.Keywords— Islamic Education, Student, ToleranceIsi dalam penelitian ini berhubungan dengan sebuah pentingnya menanamkan sikap toleransi beragama maupun adat istiadat di pendidikan dasar. Indonesia adalah negara yang beragam agama, suku, maupun budaya akan tetapi sikap toleransi di lingkungan masyarakat sangat kurang diterapkan. Hal ini di sebabkan karena terbatasnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang dampak negatif dari kurangnya sikap toleransi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami peran Pendidikan islam dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi dan kebersamaan pada siswa SD/MI. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka dengan menganalisis data-data dari berbagai macam sumber seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pendidik bukan saja memberikan sebuah pendidikan formal melainkan harus menekankan sebuah sikap yang mampu membuat peserta didik paham akan pentingnya sikap toleransi seperti penanam nilai-nilai islam, pembelajaran tentang keragaman dan kegiatan yang menumbuhakan sikap toleransi. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam dapat membantu siswa untuk memahami dan mengamalkan sikap toleransi dan kebersamaan di dalam kehidupan sekitar dan diharapkan kepada tenaga Pendidik dapat mengembangkan strategi Pendidikan yang lebih efektif untuk menanamkan sikap toleransi.Kata kunci—Pendidikan Islam, Siswa, Toleransi

Abstract

This study discusses inclusive education in the perspective of Islamic education science. There are two main objectives achieved in this research, namely first, explaining inclusive education in the view of Islamic education; second, to reveal the supporting and inhibiting factors of inclusive education. In achieving these goals, researchers used qualitative methods with a library research approach. The results of this study explain that inclusive education in the view of Islamic education emphasizes the importance of education without differentiating humans, because every human being is obliged to study whether male, female, disabled or normal. Inclusive education instills the value of social education in students, both children with special needs and non-special needs children from an early age, so that in inclusive education one child respects one another and eliminates discriminatory attitudes. Therefore, the supporting factors for inclusive education are government concern, stakeholder involvement in providing education, concern for the business world, school policies and supportive parents, while the inhibiting factors for inclusive education are lack of knowledge of handling children with special needs, because teachers are not from special education. In general, teachers in elementary schools come from elementary school teacher education study programs, so they have limited information regarding the specific handling of children with special needs. In addition, the inhibiting factor in the implementation of inclusive education programs is a curriculum that has not been oriented towards being prepared for inclusive school programs, so that this becomes a particular difficulty for educators

Abstract

This article aims to find out the criticism of the Fadhilah hadith of Al-Waqiah in the commentary of Ibn Katsir. This article aims to find out the validity of the hadith about the fadhilah of Al-Waqiah's letter in the commentary of Ibn Katsir. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques based on library research. Specifically, this method is a method used in research as a critique and review of the literature, especially those related to research themes. Then because this research examines a topic, namely the hadiths about the fadhilah of Surat al-Waqia'h contained in the book of Tafsir al-Qur'anul'Azhim or better known as the commentary of ibn Katsir. The results of the study showed that Ibn Kathir used the tahlili method, which intends to explain the content of the verses of the Qur'an and all its aspects. The tahlili method is explaining the verses of the Qur'an from various aspects based on the sequence of verses and letters in the manuscript. by emphasizing the content of its lafadz-lafadz, its munasabat both between surahs and between verses, asbab al-nuzul, hadiths of the prophet, atsar of the companions and the opinions of the tabi'in related to his arguments. As for the results of the author's research, it can be concluded that the hadiths about the fadhilah of sura Al-Waqi'ah in the commentary of Ibn Katsir, based on the muhadditsin's comments that the hadiths about the primacy of surah al-Waqi'ah are the history of the sanads of mudtarib, majhul, munqathi'. Likewise according to Imam Ahmad, Abu Hatim, al-Daaruquthni, al-Baihaqi, and Ibnul Jauzi. In summary, this hadith is flawed so that it is not authentic. Abstract

The advances in science and technology accelerate modernization in all areas, it grew stronger developments in line with the demands of reform and globalization. It is necessary for human resources which has the competence to master science and technology and be able to compete for the challenges of globalization. The development of science and technology (science and technology) can bring qualified human resources into all aspects of human life that can change the life style of the traditional mode of modern life. The changes that must be followed to improve the quality of human resources, one way to improve the quality of education. The national education system continues to be developed in accordance with the needs and developments in the local, national and global. Fiqh subjects closely related to the real world of students, for example thaharah, prayer, Hajj and Umrah, taking care of the corpse, sale and purchase, inheritance and others. For that a teacher must be creative in delivering course material, creating a fun learning conditions for students, so that students are interested and able to understand the material presented by the teacher to the fullest. The use of instructional media at the stage of learning orientation will greatly help the effectiveness of the learning process and the delivery of messages and content at the time. Besides, to encourage motivation and interests of students, learning media can also help students improve comprehension, presenting an interesting and reliable data facilitate the interpretation of data, and condense information. Interest in learning for students is an important factor for the successful achievement of learning objectives. Due to the lack of interest will grow the passion to learn and a sense of fun to the subject. Conversely the absence of strong interest, the desire or curiosity also lost and will lead to failure.Keywords:  Learning Media, Learning Motivation, Learning Fiqh

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of using interactive PowerPoint as a tool to encourage collaboration and communication among students in an educational context. Interactive PowerPoints are used to facilitate group discussions, direct questions, and share visual materials that support active and participatory learning. Research methods include observation of learning sessions using interactive PowerPoint as well as data collection through surveys to evaluate student perceptions of the use of this tool. The results showed that the use of interactive PowerPoint significantly increased student participation in discussion and collaboration in groups. Students report a more enjoyable and immersive learning experience because these tools allow them to actively engage in the learning process. In addition, interactive PowerPoint helps students develop their communication skills, both in conveying ideas orally and in written form. These findings indicate that interactive PowerPoint is not only a tool for conveying information, but also an effective means for promoting student engagement and development. Collaboration and communication skills are crucial in 21st century education. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating interactive technology in teaching practices to support active learning and increase student engagement in the classroom.

Abstract

Islamic education has deep roots in the history of the Muslim community and plays a significant role in shaping cultural and social identities in various countries. Despite challenges such as stereotypes and discrimination, Islamic education in the diaspora continues to develop and adapt to local and global contexts. Through an in-depth analysis of various sources, including books, accredited national and international scholarly journals, documents on the education system and policies in Turkey, this research aims to understand the dynamics and challenges within the Turkish education system. The primary focus of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, the role of technology in learning, and the impact of recent policies on educational quality. Additionally, the research will assess efforts towards social inclusion and the role of education in shaping students' character in the era of globalization. The findings reveal that Islamic education in Turkey has a strong religious foundation, beginning with the Ottoman Caliphate's establishment of madrasahs as centers for religious and scientific education. Significant changes also occurred in the Islamic education system and policies when the government transitioned to a Republic in Turkey.Keywords--Islamic Education, Integrity, Tradition-Modernity, Turkey.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode talaqqi dan metode kitabah terhadap kekuatan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa MI Tunas Cendikia Muslim Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, test dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji t dan Two Way Anova didukung oleh program SPSS 25. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 56 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh metode talaqqi terhadap kekuatan hafalan Al-Qur’an, diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel atau 5.909 > 2.059 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. (2) Terdapat pengaruh metode kitabah terhadap kekuatan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa, diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel atau 24.006 > 2.059 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. (3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode talaqqi dan metode kitabah terhadap kekuatan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa, diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode talaqqi dan metode kitabah terhadap kekuatan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membangun karakter toleransi antarumat beragama di Indonesia, yang kaya akan keragaman agama. Tujuan utama PAI adalah untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai agama, tidak hanya dari segi pemahaman teologis, tetapi juga dalam membentuk sikap inklusif dan toleran terhadap keberagaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kontribusi PAI dalam pengembangan karakter toleransi melalui pembelajaran berbasis nilai. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan materi PAI di sekolah-sekolah Indonesia dalam membangun rasa saling menghormati dan menghargai antarumat beragama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PAI dengan pendekatan yang integratif dan dialogis efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya toleransi dan hidup berdampingan dengan damai. Pembelajaran yang melibatkan pengalaman dan refleksi juga memungkinkan siswa untuk lebih memahami keberagaman dan mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, PAI memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung upaya menciptakan masyarakat Indonesia yang toleransi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Islam sebagai objek studi dan berbagai pendekatan keilmuan yang digunakan dalam menganalisisnya. Studi Islam mencakup berbagai objek kajian seperti al-Qur’an dan hadits, fiqh, sejarah peradaban Islam, tasawuf, serta aspek-aspek sosial-budaya masyarakat muslim. Dalam konteks global yang semakin kompleks, studi Islam telah berkembang dari pendekatan yang sebagian besar teologis menjadi bidang kajian yang lebih luas dan multidisipliner. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai objek studi dalam kajian Islam, serta pendekatan-pendekatan keilmuan yang digunakan dalam mengkaji objek-objek studi tersebut. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah analisis literatur atau studi pustaka yang berkaitan dengan objek studi dan pendekatan keilmuan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa objek studi Islam telah berkembang meliputi tidak hanya aspek normatif-tekstual tetapi juga historis-kontekstual. Pendekatan keilmuan dalam studi Islam juga telah mengalami perkembangan meliputi pendekatan fenomenologis, antropologis, sosiologis, dan interdisipliner. Integrasi berbagai pendekatan ini membuka peluang untuk pemahaman yang lebih holistik tentang Islam dan objek-objek studinya.

Abstract

Abstract  This study examines the role of teachers in shaping students' character through an approach based on Islamic teachings in the teaching of Pancasila Education, particularly in the area of norms. The character values aimed to be developed include honesty, discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect, which align with the principles of Islamic teachings. The teacher’s role is crucial in helping students internalize these values through contextual and value-based teaching methods. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research employs interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection methods to understand the strategies and effectiveness of teachers in character development. The findings indicate that the teacher's role in building character based on Islam is most effective when carried out through direct examples and the habituation of positive behaviors in school. This study highlights the importance of teachers in integrating religious values and norms into students' everyday lives. Keywords— Role, Islamic, Character, Pancasila value-based learningAbstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji peran guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui pendekatan berbasis ajaran Islam dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, khususnya pada materi norma. Karakter yang ingin dibangun mencakup nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan sikap saling menghargai yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Islam. Peran guru menjadi kunci dalam membantu siswa menginternalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut melalui metode pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berbasis nilai-nilai agama. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sebagai metode pengumpulan data untuk memahami strategi dan efektivitas guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam membangun karakter berbasis Islam lebih optimal jika dilakukan melalui contoh langsung dan pembiasaan perilaku baik di sekolah.
